Kibo: *shrugging* I'll give you that one.

Natasha sighed. "Why does everything happen to me while I'm sleeping?"

Kibo: Because the mind is open when you sleep. It's easier for things to get out... and in.

"Oh come now, it can't be all that bad. Just think of all the nifty things your spirit can do when it's not weighed down by a cumbersome, rotting thing like flesh."

"But in order for something to get into your body, it needs to leave it's own. You can always use that as a ransom of sorts."

Kibo: But you assume the only things that'll try to get in have bodies of their own. What about free floating spirits of the recently departed? They're always looking for a way to get back to earth. That's where most of my spirits come from.

Natasha sat silently on the barrel, taking her favourite dagger from her boot and jabbing it into another barrel beside her.

"But that means there is still an open vassel waiting to be used. A fresh spirit can inhabbit a dead body and give it life and a few seconds at least. And then there is always the spirits bound into everything else. Some are more polite then others and would gladly share."

Natasha pulled her dagger from the barrel and held it lightly in her hand. She traced the pattern engraved into it's wooden handle with her finger and smiled.

Kibo: Sharing a host is cumbersome and tiring. It almost invariably ends with the host not getting any sleep, making both spirits within the host suffer. Trust me, it's not worth it.

Natasha grins mischievously and throws the dagger, it soars through the air and embeds itself in the wood of a barrel, millimetres away from Bigfoot's head. She whistles inocently.
