Amkia was just glad she didn't mention the lack of his wings and felt rather special to recieve a kiss.

He led her out the city and to the caravan where his mother was just loading some stuff onto one of the horses, Kala was laying down by her feed.

"Mother, here is Susa!" He smiled as he let go of Susa and ran to his mother, giving her a hug before rushing inside the caravan to watch the birds, he hadn't spent much time with the new one.

Heather smiled at Amkia and Susa, hugging her son back she then turned to Susa, "Can you ride? These two aren't like a normal ride and it will have to be bareback but they are good and fast, we will cover alot of ground quickly." She smiled as she tightened the fastens on one of them.

"ready?"

"Indeed! I ride." A few more preparations, and then they mounted the horses bareback. They rode swiftly, and Susa continued to look down at the map, changing which direction they went- until they finally reached the opposite edge of the city's limits, nearest the marsh. Then they slowed Heather's horses, and Susa edged them along the edge of the path circling the city, her eyes almost completely steady to the map. They reached a point, finally, where in the near distance, against a hill, there could be seen a single figure- wearing what seemed to be a blue dress.

Susa's breath caught in her throat. "That's her. That's Alora. It has to be. I can't get any closer to her." She turned to Heather. "Please... ride on, and see if it's her. She will carry a diamond harp."

Lorelei looked away from Clostho, smiling at Marissa. "Oh, Marissa! What is it? I'd like to introduce you to Clostho - she's invited us down to the South when we get the chance."

But then she caught the slightly nervous, anxious look. "Is something wrong?"

Kala had unhappily gone with them but she was hunting so had made herself happier.

Heather was happy riding following Susa and nodded at her instructions, kicking her horse gently she rode on further to find her. "Excuse me? Hello? Are you Alora? Excuse me?" She slowed her horse down and let it walk along side the strange women, looking to see a harp.

Alora turned. Her eyelashes and hair were a very light blonde, and her eyes were a blue that matched the pale shade of her dress. Tied around her waist was a diamond lap harp.

"Yes?" The girl said, surprised. "Who are you?"

The priestess who had moved Irina into the inner circle rushed forward and grabbed the woman in a hug.

"Oh, I had a feeling it would be you! Oh... that was so... breathtaking." She released Irina, and there was a sparkling of unshed tears in her eyes. "Congratulations!"

"It is you? Oh thank goodness!" She jumped off her horse and smiled pulling out the diamond dust vial as she spoke. "Susa is back there," She pointed briefly opening the vial, "Please Susa put some of this dust in a small vial she had around her neck, when she did so a map appeared on her skirt. It showed us where you are. She said if I give you some the same thing could happen."

Heather paused briefly and handed out the diamond dust, just hoping at least a little of what she said made sense.

Irina was in a daze, still not used to the idea of being a mother--and being pregnant. She felt two arms surround her in a hug, and her eyes came to meet those of the priestess who had become all too familiar.

"How...how did you know it would be me?" Irina asked, stumbling over her words, seeing the woman's excitement. "And thank you," she said calmly, a slight smile returning to her otherwise dumbfounded face. "What do I do now?" she asked, honestly clueless.

Alora was not the most graceful of all the sisters- in fact, that was why she had taken up the harp, of all the diamond instruments their mother had given them: because she'd hoped that it would give her at least an air of sophistication and grace. The girl was still one of the older of the siblings, however, so she gave herself a few moments to calm herself, and made sure to take the vial with two hands.

"I should have known, that... Susa would be the one to find you." She did not look up at Heather, but instead, kept both eyes firmly on the vial, fearful she would drop it. She opened the own, tiny stoppered vial that she had underneath her dress, pulling it free, and then poured 1/6 of the diamond dust into her tiny vial. She replaced the stopper on both, and handed Heather back hers.

Almost instantly, the vial began to glow, as did the symbols around the base of her blue dress. They formulated a map- different than that of her sisters. This one showed a bright pinprick of green light- above the marshes- far away. But even still, closer than any of the sisters would have been able to imagine. Alora's eyes shone, and she looked at Heather.

"Thank you so much. I..." before she had a chance to say more, Susa interrupted, barreling almost through them with Heather's horse in her excitement. She came up just short, and almost fell to the ground in a flurry of grey skirts.

"ALORA!" Her voice echoed off the hills. Alora almost fell to the ground, herself, and she put her hands out, as if to steady herself against the air.

"Susa...oh my saviour... Susa..." tears crept up to kiss her eyes, and her voice broke in an almost ugly sniffle that was yet, still beautiful in what was happening: a reunion that may never have come. Susa was the one who had to come forward- Alora was almost stricken to the ground, and she wrapped her arms around her sister in a tight, suffocating hug. Whitish blonde hair connected with whitish blonde hair until they seemed almost one person, complete with limbs shuddering in happy sobs. The only thing that distinguished them as two were their voices, raising up with each other's names on their lips.

"I thought I'd never see you again." It was one of their voices, but muffled by sobs, so it was nameless. Only when they pulled apart- finally, did they become two distinct people, again, wiping their eyes and looking to Heather.

"There's no way that we can explain to you... how much this means to us," Susa said, her voice still tender with emotion, "thank you so much." She entwined her hand with that of her sister's.

At that moment, the map upon Alora's dress began to glow once more, casting forth a grey light that bathed Heather and Kala, casting a wide net above the two. When the light subsided, what remained was a darkling infant.

Marissa smiled to Clostho. "My congratulations," she said. To Lorelei, her tone was more fervent.

"I think I may know how to cure Kale. But I need to get to the docks. You know where they are, don't you? Could you take me there? And...we'll need to call Rojiza, on the way." She nervously fiddled with the charm.

"I just had a feeling." She touched Irina's stomach with two fingers, gently, then withdrew them, laughing. "But I'm sure every priestess thought that about their Candidate. We always hope. And now, I'll be moved to serve the Heraph, directly. The spirit chose you, my Candidate- and now I'm to be honored for being blessed by you." The priestesses eyes shone. "And now, my Lady, you... go on about your life. The Saviour will return to us when it is ready."

Lorelei blinked, pursing her lips. "Yes, I know the way.... the fastest way is by the main road, though. It passes where many of the wealthy families stay during the winter months."

She touched her now-blonde hair nervously. "We should hurry, if you know how to save Kale," she added quickly, pushing past her irrational fear. Nobody would recognize her, could recognize her.

She turned to Clostho, ready to tell her farewell for the time being. The Heraph was talking to her, though, so she waited.

Heather felt a little awkward but then the light and Heather had an odd feeling what was about to happen wondering if her children would grow very quickly the way that it seemed to happen each time they met a sister. They couldn't grow past adulthood surely?

She looked down at Kala who was not a happy kitty in any possible way. She sat sucking her thumb, her tail moving in a very sharp and unhappy way. This was just unfair and she had alot of sulking to do!

Heather laughed at the way Kala would never change and picked her up, putting her on top of her horse, "Now don't fall off Kala!" She was somewhat relieved that Kala couldn't do much damage now.

She turned back at the sisters kind of wanting to see the map so she knew where to go next but she wasn't going to interrupt them.

[ok, finally responding. lol]

Leshya'e almost lost her footing as the bright light overwhelmed her and everyone else. Blinking a few times, she looked down towards Anezka and touched her shoulder to make sure she was still there. I'm not having someone take you yet again, she thought as her eyes adjusted.

As the ceremony began, Anezka became excited. Her eyes, though dizzy from the splash of light from the siphoners bowl, were wide with wonder as her scepter began to glow. She glanced around to see that the others had also began to glow. Feeling her mother's touch, she looked up and whispered "Mum...look at the magic..."

Turning to look down at Leshya'e found herself speechless. Magic indeed. The girl smiling back at her was beautiful, with eyes and a voice so familiar and safe, but she couldn't possibly be Anezka. Not sure what to do, she turned her attention back to the glowing scepters, both of which eventually faded out.

Then the call went up. A Queen was chosen. Looking down at the scepter in her hand and thinking back to a book she had seen in Varekai. "Oh...That's what they were choosing...Now it makes sense." She laughed and then grabbed her mother's hand.

"Yes, much more sense..." Though...I'm not sure why they changed you...what's going on? Leshya'e forced a smile and then hugged Anezka.

Clostho gestured to the Heraph, asking him to wait a moment. Then she turned back to her new friend.

"I am sorry, my friend, I must go. Apparently I have things I have to... attend to." She laughed, incredulous even yet. "We will meet again, my friend." She reached out to give Lorelei a hug, and little Vanna, too. Then she said, in her broken, growling Standard,

"You... come see me. You be... little... princess."
