The Rim is a large area of space, but even during the Old Galactic Empire the Outer Rim was pockmarked by Imperial Military Outposts and Possessions. The only really safe areas from Imperial Forces were on worlds that were empty (Hoth and Yavin IV are great examples) locally corrupt (Ord Mantell for example) or within a border zone between the Empire and other governments (Tatooiene sits on the border between Imperial Space and the Huttese Space).
If you want to escape the Empire keep running... if you're in the outer rim they'll hunt you down if you stop. The only way to completely escape imperial reach is to hide behind another government (Bothan Space, Huttese Space, and a couple others come to mind) or flee known space!
1) I have fled known space. The only ones that know about the Mandal and Kedalbe system other than the people there are the high officials in the Network, which is thankfully, not run by Makis.
2) If we pay attention to my last several posts, I'm looking for other planets, far seedier than the norm, where I can safely conduct relations from Imperial jurisdiction
3) The best government that would likely accept me would be either the Bothans or Hutts. The problem is, the Bothans would want access to the Network, and the Hutts would practically take over. Shame the Zann Consortium no longer exists. Hell, Black Sun would be nice. Which of course leave the GA, but that's a dead-end, as far as staying Loyalist is concerned.
Right now, Bothawui sounds fairly good. If I may ask for your non-biased military opinion, how does Bothawui sound for being our operations H.Q?
