"like?" Saint ask suspicuosly. He closed the door slightly. His muscles tensed up aswell. He was scared, but didnt let it show.

"Wow, nice job Day. I didn't know that you could play that well. Since everyones leaving, do you want to sing the back-ups on a track for a demo?" Acoine asked Day. He looked a little tired from all the comotion that had been going on, but he was willing to do anything to get this demo done before the big game. He intended to tell Day after he recieved his injury that he did it on purpose, but he thought he should just tell her before hand as to not worry her. He then tought about the question he just asked. He restated it, "I mean, do you want to sing the background vocals for my demo?" He asked it this way to make it simpler for Day to understand. He stood and walked towards her.

((Acoine, you do realize that you don't have to simplify what you're saying. I think everyone can understand what it means to "sing the back-ups on a track for a demo".))

"But what did I do?" Saint said. He knew somehting bad was coming. His eyes begain to feel teary, but he refused to cry and simple coughed. It was so fake, but it prevented his fear from showing.

"You didn't do anything," Lisa said, she dismissed his fake cough and stood there at his door, waiting for him to either slam it or open it the rest of the way, or some out.

"Then why do we need to talk about me living here?" Saint asked. His voice was shaking, he couldnt help it but he broke eye contact with Lisa and staired stright down at the rug. He closed the dor a bit more but remained visible. In his own mind, he already knew his fate, they were going to ask him to leave. I blew it...

((Okay... Chris is bored. 3nodding ))
Chris found he really wasn't all that hungry either. After a moment or two, he decided to follow Lisa upstairs and tell her so, but stopped as he saw her trying to talk to Saint.
"Open the door for her, Saint," he finally spoke up, coming behind her and placing a protective hand on her shoulder. "You are to respect her; if she wants to come in and talk, you may not close the door on her." He said this gently but firmly so as to not upset the situation any further.

Saint looked at Chris. He opened the door and he walked to his balcony door and let some air in. He turned sharply and looked at Chris and Lisa.
He knew how his old parents would handle this; they would make him turn around against the wall, in his boxers, and hit him with their belts. In his mothers case: an extension chord. They would scream at him for not being good enough. They would tell him how he had ruined their marage. He believed ever word of it, and now he believed he was doing the same to Chris and Lisa.
He was to scared to speak, I hope I can remember how to ignore this... he thought preparing for the pain. To many nights had he delt with the searing pain from each lash. It had been months since he was last hit. He had no real pain to practice blocking out, so he hoped he could remember how.
He looked at them, no, he stared at them. He was terrified. Chris was a big guy, big enough to put some damage onto him. His father was only his height, and Chris had a good 6 inches on him. Lisa was smaller than his mother, but Lisa still had a strong voice.
