Ugu Zenmaru, upon hearing his sister's idiocy, began frowning again. "Annie. That is the most stupid thing I have ever heard. Robots don't turn on their masters. They simply are not programmed to do that." He took a step forward and patted one of the front legs of the mechanical spider-hollow. The man's eyes went up and down it, looking for dents or crumpled spots. Nothing. It was brand new and ready to be smashed into bits by students.
"So," he said as he turned to face the class, "Go beat it up, neh?"

yojimbo stands up and slides his zanpakuto out of his back, grips the hilt with both hands and begins to run a the dummy. the holds the blade behind him as he runs and pulls the blade through an uppercut attack, the blade scraping along the floor as the brings the blade up.

"Hey, Yoji!! You forgot to wait for me!!" Zaviel stood up and ran as fast as he could without knowing shupo and would aim for a horizantal slice to the head. Then, Zaviel jumped over it, worried it may attack. But...Yojimbo is still open.. Zaviel quickly scanned over the simulation hollow. It is a spider, so about 8 legs. It crawls on the floor so it is fast. So the only few ways it can attack is swiping with the legs, poking or jabbing, or jumping.

Tsai sighed, he looked at the weird training dummy. It seemed to be okay for use. Tsai wanted to really how it worked and how it was made so in the future, he could create one of his own. He walked towards the rack while Zaviel and Yojimbo had its attention and replaced his bokken with his own zampakuto. He however, did not unsheath it. He wanted to take a good close look at how the arachnoid training dummy worked.
Tsai rolled over to the side of the dummy, and looked at it's circuits from a crouching point of view. "Was this dummy powered by reiatsu of some sort or by mechanical influences?" Tsai wondered as he unsheathed his jian shaped zampakuto, waiting for the right time to strike. He would aim for the legs of the spider. It was only natural that one takes out the spiders legs. Without its legs, it loses:
A) It's offensive ability to strike. B) It's defensive ability to maneuver to avoid our strikes. C) Even if the legs are breakable, the vibration from the force of a zampakuto hitting it's leg should make it slouch over a bit and reveal weaknesses.
Afterwards Tsai could probably disect the spider up and make it seem like an accident. From his crouching position, Tsai waited and suddenly dashed forward, he rolled under the spider's legs and aimed for one of the hind legs, hoping to remove it from the dummy. "Everyone aim for it's legs!" he shouts at his comrades hoping they would be smart enough to know that the legs would be it's weakness. Tsai alone couldn't possibly chop off all eight of the arachnoid's legs.
But then it struck Tsai's mind. "Maybe the mask it possesses is a little more than a decoration?" he wondered, it was quite possible, that would be his next move. But right now, he was sure that striking the spider's legs wouldn cripple it.
Attack: 14 + 3 = 17 ninja
(Humbra, is the dummy powered through reiatsu or just mechanical stuff like gears and what not and what is it made from?)

From her position, Ran watches the other students attack the spider. She'd wait, and instead of dealing with the spider immediately, she'd wait and let everyone else take their blows. She was going to do just as she'd done before. She would analyze the spider, see the way it moved, and then go about the process of trying to beat it.
She had to get some idea of this things capability first, before she was willing to make any moves against it. After all, even if she was a street fighter, that didn't mean she rushed into things without thinking them through. She was as strong as she was smart; luckily for her it meant she was fairly expedient at analyzing the opponents she fought.
Her zanpaktou however, is drawn from her sheath, and she grins down at the weapon, her lips twisting lightly. Maybe it was time. Just maybe.

Yojimbo's strike hit the robot's midsection, between two of the eight legs of the 'hollow', making contact with its thick metal skin. The boy's zanapkutou cut into the robot, although not very deep. Yojimbo's strike pierced the robot's metal skin and sliced into the circuitry of the toy.
Zaviel's strike also hit the being- cutting into the toy's mask. It left a gash in the face of the robot, and it let out a massive spark from its new 'wound'.
Tsai's zanpakutou, too, hit he being. His blade cut through the initial thickness of the spider and, like Zaviel's strike, caused a spark to flash from the robot's circuitry.
