A few hours went by since Chigusa left for her operation. The nurse that took Chigusa in came out, looking a bit nervous before she found Higuri. "You're a friend of Chigusa-chan, correct?"

Higuri's eyes slowly looked at the nurse,she looked a little..nervous,Higuri habitually bit his index finger and nodded."Yes,I am her friend."he stated as calmly as he could manage.

The nurse sighed, relieved that she found the right person. "Thank goodness. Chigusa will be alright, but our doctor is not sure whether she can walk or not because the body tends to forget its own movements, but the operation was a complete sucess! I'll show you to her room." she said as she started to walk off.

"A neuro-related problem..it's a scar but it's also a mark of success.."Higuri muttered and got up,he followed the nurse to Chigusa's room.

Chigusa was asleep, an IV in her arm as she snored lightly. The nurse lightly smiled. "Well, she should wake up soon..." she said before she left Higuri and Chigusa alone.

Higuri nodded at the nurse and took a seat in a chair beside Chigusa's bed and looked at her as she slept."I've always wondered how you felt about me Chigusa and I've always wondered about my feelings for you,there are so many unanswered questions that I would really like to ask you but that doesn't matter now..you do."he stated.

Chigusa woke up an hour or so later, looking up at the ceiling with a dazed yet spacious look on her face. 'The dream...the same dream came back to me....I wonder when everyone will be out of their comas.....I hope soon....' she thought to herself before she slowly sat up in bed. She turned to look at Higuri. "Oh. Hi, Higuri."

Higuri's mouth turned to a small grin."Welcome back to earth,Chigusa"he mused and sat back."How do you feel?"he asked.

Chigusa lightly smiled. "I've felt better. I'm going to go to school tomorrow with you, okay? Ms. Reiko said she was going to get my uniform so it's all good!"

Chigusa nodded. "She told me if there was anything I needed when you're not around, I can give her a call. Please don't call her that! She's actually kind....She also told me that she'll be helping until she goes on vacation." she told him, her legs hanging on the side of the bed as she sat right in front of Higuri. There were two large stitches on the lower part of her legs on the sides as she slowly reached for her crutches.

Higuri nodded silently and grabbed her crutches and handed them to her so she would not have to reach for them.

Chigusa slowly stood up, the crutches underneath her arms before she looked at Higuri. "Cheer up, Higuri! You've been looking so gloomy since we came here. ....Is something wrong?"

"I'm just a little worried about your safety nowadays"Higuri stated and stood up."We'll get going okay?"he said to her.

Chigusa nodded before she left the room, going out towards the waiting room before she saw Reiko. "Ms. Reiko!" "Hey, kiddo!" Reiko was holding her school uniform. "Wow! It's so cute~!" Chigusa said with happiness in her voice. "I know it is. Higuri, how far away is your house from here? I can drop you two off." Reiko asked him before adjusting her glasses.
