As her feet touched ground, the demon hunter began to curse under her breath for two reasons. One, what an a** Rathios was being, and for the second reason... "Damnit!" She hissed, folding her arms over her chest. "They just left..." Veronica snorted. Stepping along the same cobblestone path she had before when she originally met Duirthill and that council woman, she studied the patterns in which the stones were placed beneath her feet while thinking silently. She would have to wait now.. wait a little longer.

"Ya well, what would you do if you knew where they were?" said a familiar voice from the doorway. Rathios stepped out of the bar with a bottle in his hand and laughed slightly. "You going to keep following them? How long? How far? Why?" he asked.

Whipping her body around, Veronica took a step back and placed her hand tightly on the hilt of the sword on her left hip. The voice was familiar.. "..." How does he travel so quickly-- "Why do you care?" She snapped, her eyes immediately shifting down to the bottle in his hand. ...He's drunk..

Rathios laughed and took another swig from the bottle. "Because I'm a council member and Raine's our leader." he said.

With a grunt of annoyance, Veronica took a step away from him. She didn't like drunks... they wqere the last creature she wanted to deal with. Depending how they were, they could be loud, emotional, angry or just plain overly happy. All four of those emotions aggrivated her greatly. "You didn't care before..." She hissed. But why was she arguing with him in the first place? He was drunk.. I'm wasting my breath..

His face suddenly darkened and it seemed as if he had sobered instantly. "Didn't care?" he said, raising the hand with the bottle and pointing at her. "Don't you say I never cared about her."

Veronica opened her mouth to speak but she closed it quickly. Lowering her head, the hood of the cloak shadowed over her eyes and the majority of her facial features. The only thing visable on her face was her wide, sly grin and the gentle chuckling passing her lips. Well that changed everything, didn't it?
"Oh, I didn't mean her..." She cackled lowly. "But thank you, now I understand." Lifting her head again, to stare at the drunken council member, her face turned serious almost immediatly. This made everything all the more fun. Yes, she was the head of the council, but what did that say? It didn't say much about her power...

"Understand what you want, but if you harm her I'll hunt you down and make sure the rest of your life is hell." he said, taking another swig. "And it's not the drink talking." Rathios clarified.

"Heh. We'll see about that." She hissed, followed by a deep chuckle. Releasing her hand from the sword, she folded her arms over her chest and pressed onward, passed Rathios. "We will definately see about that.."

Rathios finished the bottle and there was a loud crashing noise as his hand disappeared from under the bottle and appeared by Veronica's neck with a sword of Angelic magic. There wasn't a trace of achohol on his breath. "Make note of this, demon. I could care less what you do to that demon, but if you lay a hand on council woman Raine..." he said, and he pressed the blade into her neck slightly to illustrate his point. He disappeared in a bright flash that illuminated the bottle on the ground which read "cider".

Veronica stood calmly as the blade was pressed into her neck. She tensened a bit, but that was the only action that was seen. She hadn't flinched at all, for, she had been through these kinds of situations too many times to count. As he had disapearred, Veronica folded her arms over her chest and gave a gentle chuckle while glancing down at the bottle. "You don't make things too obvious, do you?" She spoke aloud in sarcasm. "What a fool. Does he really know the connection of the two I'm after?" She chuckled lowly. "The both of them will wind up dead, whether he likes it or not."

Stepping through from the dark void, Raine jumped down and allowed a small grunt to pass her lips. Her outfit... was entirelly different. Instead of the usual long cream coloured dress with the brass additions. No. Not even close. Her apperance had even shifted. She was a shapshifter after all, so to Duirthill or even her sister, it should not be a surprise.
A black cloak that reached to the ground covered her oufit underneath, however. The end of the cloak had been tattered.. the article of clothing seemed to be much too big for her considering the size of the hood and how long it was. Her hair was now black and though it was all hidden from the hood of the cloak, it's length was about mid-back and was layered all the way around.
Opening her eyes, they seemed to glow a deep crimson colour, not the same colour that lit her eyes in the middle of the transformation not too long ago, entirelly different. A gentle smirk came to her lips as she pulled her hands out from beneath her cloak. The gloves concealling her hands his her pale skin that still remained the same. A long, sharp fang was revealled before the grin faded and she was on her way...

The portal she had exited did not close, but there was another one nearby. The tail of a black cloak could be seen passing through it as it closed.

Swiftly exiting the portal, her gently song faded into a mumble, a baffled expression rushed to Elva's face. Glancing to the right, then to the left, Elva raised an eyebrow, a little confused. "A different portal... how?"She poke with wonder in her voice. She had indeed traveled through the same portal as Durithill and her sister, however, why had they not shown up. A grunt passed her lips as she turned around, facing the direction in which she had just came. The portal had completely closed; Elva was surrounded by a dark viod, the wind rustling through the trees. She had one quess as to where she was at; the forest...
With a short sigh, Elva headed off, a dissapointing frown set upon her face as she continued to gaze to each side of her. Where were the other two? That's what she wanted to know. Without rasing a thought, Violent screamed out. "Durithill, Raine! Where are you?!"
