Spinning around at the sound of the man's familiar voice, the wide smile which had just disapearred returned quickly. She seemed to be delighted that he was there immediatly. Throwing her arms around Rathios in a not-so-formal fashion to show her thanks. She could have verbally thanked him, or shaken his hand professionally, but she decided to do it this was. Rathios seemed.. Like he needed a hug, so to say.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" She asked, a bit of a melody stiriking her tone.
"You could have at least told me you did some research. Honestly, take some time off, you've done so much lately."

"Tell you want earlier?" Rathios said, looking slightly confused. Then something clicked. "Oh, that I didn't tell the angels anything?" he asked. "Slipped my mind. They didn't really ask anything, they just demanded we bring them the Tomsaruka responsible, so I didn't really tell them anything." He shrugged and walked past them to put a couple books back on the shelf, finding the right spots on the first try despite his blindness. "As for taking a break," he started, turning back to them and staring at Raine with his milky eyes, "I think the whole council is going to be getting one soon, if you know what I mean."

"Pardon?" Raine replied, seeming slightly confused with his last statement. Perhaps it was she was over-tired, or simply excited. Complications were finally beginning to die down.. Though it was ironic that it was in the middle of a climax.
"No.. I cannot say that I completely follow.." Her eyes drifted to Durithill as if asking him if he caught on to what Rathios meant. Shiero was never one for solving riddles, such as beating around the bush as Rathios was doing currently.

Durithill caught Raine's glance and opened his mouth to speak. "He means that the council is probably going to be disbanded." he said bluntly. "If a war comes, it's failed its duties and so there's really no point in having it anymore." "And even if a war doesn't come, the death of Durimiros will most likely even things up enough that neither side will bother trying anything, leading to peace and no use for the council. You are planning on killing Durimiros, right?" he asked. "Yes." Durithill replied. "For good." There was almost a sort of savage joy in his voice, as if he was looking forward to it.

"Hmm.." Shiero mumbled, almost amused by the reply from the two. Clearly she was not thinking ahead of he game... What would she do then.
"Well.. Then.. Take it easy. Relax with the work a bit." She replied almost half-heartedly. It was hard to say what was going to happen when this was all said and done. Depending on what happened to Durithill after this entire event, Raine would revolve the remaining, nearly endless years of her life around that. But it was funny... The end was so close, and yet, she didn't even think of what would come next. All they needed to do was find Durimiros, the rest would unravel from there.

"The council may disband soon, lady Raine," Rathios said, looking straight at her, "but I will still work as hard as I can to stop this war. I'll do all I can on this end, but..." "Killing Durimiros is the only way to truly stop it." Durithill said, finishing Rathios' thought. Rathios nodded. "You two have to kill Duirmiros as soon as possible." Rathios said with almost an air of regret, as if he hoped it could end some other way. "We've done our best to track him down, and from what we can tell, he's in the Forbidden Realm." "Ironic." Durithill said with a single chuckle. "The place were this all began will be the place where it all ends." He turned and opened a portal to the Forbidden Realm. "Good luck." Rathios added.

As Rathios was bidding the two adieu, Raine felt nearly rushed to get out of there. They had three days ;eft.. Why couldn't they just wait a little while? Durimiros wasn't that hard to find. Besides, Durithill did mention he could basically tell where he was and what he was doing... A little bit of time would be nice, just a day even.. A single day. Shiero still needed to review the translated text handed to her just under an hour ago... Perhaps she had good reasons for wanting to procrastinate, for she felt that something was going to happen that did not result in hers or Durithill's favour.
As Rathios turned away after wishing them--mainly Durithill she presumed-- good luck, Raine reached out and took hold of Durithill's wrist, her ivory fingers wrapping around the lower part of his forearm almost desperatly.
"Wait-- Hold on a second..." Raine spoke just louder then a whisper. With her free hand, the woman rose her hand and unclasped a long, hidden chain resting against her chest, the golden necklace tucked beneath her clothing to hide it. Releasing his wrist, Shiero outstretched her hand with the charm and chain in her closed fist.
"Call it superstition.." She mumbled, almost ashamed of her gift and believing in bad luck. Her hand remained outstretched from her body, her hand closed, waiting for his open palm to hover beneath hers.

Durithill smiled and took the necklace. "Thank you." he said, placing it around his neck. His hand lingered on it for a while before dropping back to his side. "Now lets go get Durimiros." he said before stepping through the portal into the Forbidden Realm.

"No need to thank me..." She replied quietly, her voice small. Her eyes downcasted her eyes to the ground. Clearly the charm was meant for luck. The opaque sapphire-coloured stone was framed in gold. It was a coincidence that the very pendant handed down to her as a child which depicted her very element was actually a piece of supersitious jewlery.
Standing in the same position for a moment as Durithill passed through the portal into the Forbidden Realm, both of her hand moved towards her chest in a worried fashion. She was definately worried, scared and unhappy... Lifting her head with a few quick steps, Raine passed through the void after the demon.
