Tracey confirmed that he was right, "That is correct, we'll be leaving at the evening tide." This may be a pirate port as of right now, but he was going to use as much stealth as he could was still advisable.

He turned to look at Avelop, and eyebrow raise, "What do you want to know?" He didn't spend to much time looking directly at the man, understandably, he was watching the two insane women to make sure they didn't do something stupid that would hurt themselves or the crew.

''Where were going... and if I can take a look at the map." avelop said, he added nervously ''Map making is a hobby of mine, and I wondered if my old map and the ships differed. It might sound quite dull but I find it passes the time."

He wasn't sure what the captains reaction would be, out of the three captains he'd had, two had let him see the map, one only just. He knew he might have crossed the line, some ships let only the captain, quatermaster, navigator and helmsman see it.

Avelop wasn't sure what to expect, and grew worried.

Tracey would have liked to have talked it out with his officers, but they were proving unreliable. Thats why he made the chose alone, and why it was being stuck to no matter what. He told Avelop, "We are going to the Spanish Main." The question about the maps gave him slight pause, remembering the chaos in his cabin, he had to answer as he would have liked not to, "My cabin was recently wrecked, you cannot go into there to see the maps until I get back down there to straighten it out." He was not going to hide the maps, but right now no one was going to rumage around his cabin until he fixed it himself.

Avelop nodded and said "Thank you." He knew that wasn't a definate yes, as captains had gone long voyages without reparing their cabins, but at least It did not get him into trouble. 'Spain' he thought. He smiled, he actually did have a map for spain.

He looked to the captain, he asked ''Do I have any new orders?''

"Ah ain't did nothin'!" Mariko protested vehemently. "That damn bird flew off its panties on its own 'ccord see? And why, ya left the tavern 'till standin'!" Mariko grabbed powder and ball from the stock pile and stuffed it in Cannon #3.

"CHEERIO!" she bellowed and lit up, aiming for the alehouse on the docks. "Mariko'll show ya how ter hit the broadside o' a tavern tell you!"

Fleur grabbed Mariko and pulled her aside in fright, almost quite violently. "Wait!" she exclaimed, "If you do that, the tavern wenches and delicious bards might be hurt in the blast!" The Frenchwoman points toward the nearby fishing house. "That is a much better target. Nobody likes fish, right?"

Tracey's eyes widened as he watched and heard what the two insane women, without waiting an instant to told them, "Do not fire! If you want to pracitce then send out an empty barrel but do not try to fire on the town!" Geeze he wanted to be be able to port here , if they fired, that would be it, they would have to get out of there and never return.

Parlan was late as always. He got the notive late. He got to the dock late. He even forgot to eat his late breakfast. He leaped aboard the ship and onto the deck forgetting the plank compleatly. "Dammit, I'm late again," he cursed quietly to himself. He needed to get something to help him keep time. He went below to the crew's quarters to find his bunk and dump his pack. He had only hoped the Captin' didn't see him boarding late. He was in enough trouble as it was.

Tracey didn't miss anything on his ship, he saw the late comer, and knew who was getting the duites to scrub the deck so clean he could eat off of it. For now, he wouldn't say anything, he was getting ready to take off. Giving the lines hard tugs, he checks things out to make sure everything is sound.

With the knowledge the ship will sail soon, Avelop raced to his station, he tested his gauntlets by launching himself up the riggings. He wanted to do a quick spot check to see everything was in order, and it seemed everything was, except for an old knot tying the sail to the mast. After a moment of consideration he worked out a plan, he tied a knot around his waist and around the mast, he then held on to the mast and dropped. Still clinging to the mast he shimmied along to the old knot, he pulled himself up and undid it, holding tightly to the corner of the sail, he redid the knot. he then dropped again and shimmied back to the riggings.

He knew it was not neccesary, but the captain was sharp, and seemed an expert on knots so he didn't want to be caught out.

He was ready, and knew if he didn't get out of there the crazy women might cause more of a problem then he could solve. With a commanding yell, he told everyone "Look sharp, crew, get ready to make way! We are leaving now, anyone not doing their job can swim to shore!" He did his own, checking over the knots, he made his way to the helm, time to catch that horizon that tormented him for months.

Parlan lay out all of his tools. The mop, his hammer, a few long sharp nails, and a knife his old man hand given to him. The dragon on it's ivory hilt glared at Parlan with it's sapphire eyes. It accused him of being so late. Parlan placed it in a bag at his hip and grabbed his mop to go above and get to his job before Tracey chewed him out. He nodded to the Captin' as their eyes met. "Sorry Captin'! I seem ta be a bit late!" Parlan apologized, "Anythin' else I can help?"

Tracey looked at Parlan, deciding what he wanted to do with him. A test, thats what he settled on. "You have a skill to contribut to the ship, do you not? Show me what you can do." His arms were crossed and he watched the late pirate. Erin, his dog, was back at this side watching everyone wanting to play but knowing she couldn't.

Fleur-de-Lis, hearing that the ship was setting sail, diligently went up to the main deck (forgetting whatever she was doing with the cannons), and climbs the main mast like a monkey. Now in the crow's nest, she draws one of her rapiers and points the weapon toward the horizon. "Onward!" she shouts. "For the glory of France and the magical space parakeets, we shall set sail under the watchful eye of our captain and crew, and obtain glory and fortune!" Seeing nobody much impressed in her speech, she sits down and pulls out the book she saved from the cannon and starts reading it in the well-hidden resting spot of the crow's nest.
