Taryn Edwards "Um... No... Just." She managed a genuine smile, forcing her lying tongue to surface. It seemed Mimi had no idea she had been shot... "Just meant since I was... Reborn? or whatever you would call it." She smiled, picking up the glass and concentrating on it as she drank. It hid her expression, so she wouldn't give anything away. She gave a sidelong glance to her lover. 'Honestly... not the brightest, no. But... We all have our faults love... You manage well enough from what I've seen.' She gave him a smile, setting the now empty glass on the counter. -Mimi stared at the two vampires in silence for a while, her expression serious. It was as if she knew something was amiss, and hell... it bugged the hell out of her.- No... no.. if either one of you know how the I woke up in bathed in clothes bathed in blood I rather you tell me.. I don't like forgetting things.. - It makes me feel weak. It gives Daisuke's theory more grounds... Too much.. to little time. Somewhere inside that seemingly infinite resource of patience was wearing off. Then again, could anyone blame her? Every five seconds of peace she got would be cut short with Ryoko hounding her about going back to the pride--- or just something more weird happened.- Please... it just.. -At that she gave up, sighing. Perhaps her brother was right.. she was pathetic.-

The assassin turned pink, not wanting to discuss that incident. "I forgot to tell you that I had... well, me and Taryn are both vampires now., That's pretty much all of it..." he kissed his beloved again, almost gasping with relief.
He carefully placed his arm around the woman he loved's waist, and whispered into her ear, "Well, that must be why I need you..." his eyes crossed in some dull fury when Sirus tapped his shoulder. "Do that again, mortal, and you'll pull back a stub."

Kinpoko finally finishes with the room. Most of it is now silver, and has various pipes stuck to the wall or ceiling, but they look seamless. She bed area has silvery bedsheets, and silver strips intermingling with the cloth that hangs over the bed. The plasma television and the bathroom however, are left untouched. Most of Kinpoko's things are unpacked. A rather large computer sits in a corner, and a small hover vehicle sits up against a wall. She smiles and giggles, before exiting to go downstairs to study the residents and visitors of the Jekyll de Hyde.

If the words were spoken in the right way, Mimi could be informed about the accident, and possibly not... Blow up, or freak out beyond reckoning... If. Taryn Rather doubted this would work. She sighed softly, sending him a thought. 'Let me tell her...I think I manage to explain it as it was. An accident...'

There is a certain problem you might be interested in helping me solve. It concerns a certain ghost...

As it was her custom when nervous, embarassed or simply lost in thought, she chewed on her lip. Well, at least the milk for her cocoa was warm. And now she had a task to busy herself with. And so she went about the task of preparing herself that hot cocoa that she knew would at *least* make her feel warm and semi-comfortable.-

][For now I'm going to give my other character a go. He doesn't even have a name just yet.. xd ][
A tall slender figure would stand atop a hill staring down at Jekyll de Hyde. Clothes would waver side to side slowly, as well as semi-long locks of hair would sway in the wind.
Gender, race, even what colors the person was wearing were unknown due to the darkness of the night. However.. After a short lived, giddy laugh and hiccup would come along. "Wonder if zhis is zhee place zhee guys were talkin' 'bout."
Ah, his speach was a little slurred, but the deep voice said the mysterious figure was male.. and drunk. This strange person would sway side to side slowly, before hunching over and beginning to make his way down the grassy hill, before he would slip, and fall down the hill instead.
By the time he would reach the bottom, and land in the lifeless dirt outside the front gate of Jekyll de Hyde, in the light. Finally, the darkness which shaded him as torn away by the light!
It would reveal a young man in his teens with blonde hair which reached his shoulders, a few stray golden locks in his face. He was obviously, obviously super drunk.. The deep blush across his cheeks said it all.
Eye lids would droop over teal colored orbs, before he would give yet another laugh, as if the tumble he took was fun. Where had this teenager come from? And what was his purpose? Just ask, and his story would be an interesting one.
Dusting himself off, he would stagger forward, and finally make his way onto the grounds looking around for a sign of life. "Hurm.."

He hadn't ordered Bertram to make her forget. He had... 'As in all things, Taryn, your judgement is most correct... now please, excuse me while I deal with this worm.' Duellist tilted his head on its side and spoke to Sirus. "Taking care of problems without assistance is 500 gold. Taking care of problems with my minions is 750 gold, to pay for reconstructive surgery. To help other people will be 250 gold." The vampire looked around, and then sighed. "But come on..." he faded out and reappeared in the foyer. "I'm interested."

Kinpoko makes it downstairs, humming a little tune as she exits the elevator. She looks around, before making her way outside, to see if any ghosts were about. Today, she felt like studying the ghosts. She punches a few buttons on Toadie, looking around to find the graveyard. She really didn't feel like going to the haunted mansion quite yet. After what she saw, it would take her a while to go back.

I don't ask for your assistance because I want it. I ask because my colleague believes it best that you join forces with us. Well, that and because it was your minion who freed the accursed specter in the first place.

Taryn bit her lip and nodded, directing all her attention to Mimi. Her voice was soft, and soothing, but naturally so, not enhanced. "Mimi, sweetie, can... Can I talk to you for a few minutes. I think you need to be filled in on a few things... Come sit with me?" She gestured to a faintly lit booth, that looked comfortable.

I ask because my colleague believes it best that you join forces with us. Well, that and because it was your minion who freed the accursed specter in the first place."Then your colleague can pay me instead. I'm Alexander Ay-sash-sin, vampiric assassin. I kill for money. As for my minion... my minions do many things. Talk to him if you want help, I'll even equip him to do battle with this 'spectre' at no charge if you really want. But I'm afraid that it will go against every rule in the Assassin's handbook to kill without payment..." He tilted his head on its side. "Unless... this will be a challenge?"
