Two in right off the bat! Not a bad start to the day! Hikaru had also managed to get the even number bonus on her first play, so her reward was thirteen tokens total. Sensing that this might be another good day for winning, she paid for her next game.

"Okay, last go for today." Razzer announced, giving the vendor five more tokens. "Lets hope this time isn't as wretched as my last go."
Throws one and two, for lack of better description... sucked. Vowing that he wouldn't walk away without getting at least one in, Razzer whipped the third one and nearly tipped the van over. The fourth one he was more gentle with, and it didn't end up going in.
"Alright, I'm done now." Razzer said, and decided to check out the rest of the festival.

GET IN THE VAN.
Hikaru could barely believe her eyes. She had to rub them a few times just to make sure. There, sitting in front of her, was a van full of all four tiny figurines. And she had put them there herself! The lights on the game stand lit up and started flashing like crazy as 40 tokens came pouring out and into Hikaru's waiting hands.
"YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!" she cried out loudly, jumping around and pumping her fists in the air and making a hell of a scene - but she didn't care! She'd finally managed to get all 4 dolls into the van at once! This was the big payoff she'd been waiting for! Eager to try again, she grabbed up the dolls, paid another 5 tokens, and started tossing them back toward the van again.

Hikaru only managed to break even this time, but she didn't care at all. She was still too excited about her last big win. Mechanically, she paid out another five tokens to have another play, still totally high from the massive number of tokens she'd won before.

Okay. Okay. Time to calm down now. All four of the dolls missed this time. All those winnings will just dwindle away if Hikaru keeps this up. Taking a deep breath to calm herself down, she took a few seconds to find her center, and then paid for another game, trying to hit the van again.

Another even break. Okay. Getting better, but not quite there yet. Hikaru nodded, still calming herself down as she gathered up the dolls for another try, sliding five more tokens across the counter to the booth vendor.

A little better. Still only one doll in, but at least she managed to get the even number bonus this time. Slowly climbing up toward 300 tokens, Hikaru pressed bravely onward, paying out another five tokens for another game.

Ugh. Bad karma or something, maybe? The number bonus saved Hikaru from a total loss again, but she did lose a net two tokens with his latest try. Looking sort of glum now, she stubbornly pushed five tokens across the counter again, determined to make up the loss and push even further past her limit for the day.

A total loss. Things were not looking good for Hikaru, but she was utterly determined to beat this stupid game and replicate her earlier win. Pushing another five tokens across the counter, she grabbed the dolls and flung them as hard as she could toward that dumb van.

There! Two dolls in! That was more like the luck Hikaru was used to. Smiling as she seemed to be regaining her skill, she happily accepted the reward of ten tokens, pushing five of them back across for another try.

All right. Not bad. Only one doll in, but the number bonus ensured that Hikaru had a few tokens to take home from this latest attempt. She was sure she'd break 300 yet at this rate, even if it was going a little more slowly than she'd have otherwise preferred.

Yes! Two dolls in again! At an even 300 tokens after paying out for the next game, Hikaru clenched her fists tightly around the dolls, squeezing them a little for luck before chucking them back at the van again.

Even break again. With an unemotional shrug, Hikaru pushed her winnings back across the table to have another go at it. With only two plays left, she'd have to get some better results than that in order to collect more tokens by the end of the day.
