Ok, cool! Just as a last fair warning, I'm not on to post every day and neither is any one else I think. I post when I can cool usually every couple days

Appearance: Flat dark brown hair, black eyes, about 5 feet tall, and usually wheres ripped up blue clothes.
Personality: He is sometimes irrisponsible with his magic, but when he needs it, he might over use it. If he gets really mad, he might start to be a bit anti-social, but he can be easily cheered up.
History: His parents lived near Lake Derr, but abandoned him because no one else in their family had magical powers, an they where scared about what he was going to do with it. He has been living in the forest until he was 9 , then put into a foster home. He left the home at 12.

Some things in your profile concern me but I think that you could work on it and bring it up to a more acceptable level. First is the age of your character. If you made him older, then him living in the forest might be more realistic. If he were 12 when his family kicked him out, that would be better, and he could be 13 or something now. We could skip the foster home entirely. I don't think the plains people have something that complicated for their orphans, I think that they just take care of them when they find any.

I'd also like for you to pick a different magic. What about one of these or something related? If he had something like an elemental fire power, that could still explain his family kicking him out. Maybe he burned their house down!

And lastly you'd be just to the south of lake Derr. There isn't much for forest there except maybe a tree here and there. I could have you meet up with an NPC who will help feed you or something. I also want you to add a few sentences about how your character survived once he was on his own.

1) I know I don't have any thing in the sticky about what Tok believes about cross-dressing. What do you think? Should they have laws against things like that? What about homosexuality?
2) You'll have to convince me some more on this last part, the swindling in Feretris. Feretris is not just led mostly be women-- it's led only by women. Men are slaves. Let's think about this. What sort of proof would a woman or slave need to prove who belongs to whom, and under what circumstances would they need this proof? How would a slave normally enter a marketplace to sell for his mistress? How did Cain trick every one?

For # 2, we can actually RP that in your own thread if you'd like. That's an interesting recent past that I wouldn't mind adding to my NPC load for.

1. Well, actually, even if Tok does have rules or policies against it, Cain would probably do it anyway. However, he only did it after he left Tok, when he reached Feretris. However, I would expect that they would have something against homosexuality (Wouldn't any country have?).

2. I won't mind RPing it out. However, he primarily used aliases and different identities to actually make the trades themselves, and a lot of the time not making the transactions in person.
