Riiko smiled as he kissed her, her eyes then turned worried as she saw all the scars on his back. She saw up to him and gently touched the scars with her fingers "M....what happened?"she asked, now that she thought about it, neither of them have talked much about their pasts. ((did you read my person's profile?, i'll read yours now))

He stopped chasing the fish as she traced his scars on his back, and then asked him about it. "Wel..." He looked down, then turned around and hugged her. "That, is a story for another day, love. Another day." He fell backwards and floated through the water with his eyes closed. He just wanted to run away from his past. Run away and never look back. His necklace floated around near him.

Riiko sighed he would have to know about her past just about as soon as she would have to know about his she thought. But as he said it was better for another day, though her locket glowed for a second, she looked at it, sighed and tucked into her bathing suit so he wouldn't see it. She placed the smile back on her face and then continued to float beside him grabbing on to his hand as she closed her own eyes.

He wondered about her glowing locket, but since she hid it, it was obviously something personal. He let go of her hand and dived under water. The water was kinda shallow. About 4 feet, and he swam under her, and wrapped his arms around her waist and popped out of the water. "Surprise!"

Koichi smiled, glad she'd excepted his arm. He laughed, though. "Well, then, there's a hole in my plan," he joked, slipping on a pair of sandels my the door before escorting her out and shutting the door behind them. "Well, then, to the beach we go," he said as the two started off down the hall. "Let's just hope there's no quick tanning or sun burn involved for us," he laughed, knowing that a lot of people could get tanned or sunburned easily, without bearly trying.

Kana smiled rather sheepishly again and then walked along beside him as he led her down the hall. Her tail was swishing excitedly behind them, her eyes flicking around curiously at everything as they passed. Her ears were perked and alert as well. She nodded at the tanned or sunburnt comment. "I don't don't really change," she said, staring at her arm thoughtfully. It was somewhere in between pale and tan, though leaning more towards the pale side. It'd always been like that, no matter how long she stayed outside. She was trying to distract herself by thinking of this so she wouln't start worrying about her scar yet. She had plenty of time to do that later.

Koichi sighed. "Damn, I wish my skin wouldn't change... sunburns kill," he said softly. He laughed, though, after realizing he said that. "Hope I didn't offend you in anyway," he added somewhat quickly, rubbing the back of his head with his free hand. She seems to trust you a lot more, you little devil, said the voice, chuckling once again. My little devil... yes, little devil... all you need is your princess back and you'll never hear me again unless you do as I say and think naughty little thoughts

Kana glanced back up at him, head tilted slightly. At the semi-apology she quickly shook her head. "No, it's fine!" she said hastily. She didn't see how that would seem offensive. Maybe just because he cursed? She was more than used to cursing, as she was usually the one being cursed at. She sighed quietly at the thought, ears drooping a bit as she dropped her eyes to the floor again. But she quickly tried pushing them away, again distracting herself with simple things like different designs on the doors they passed.

Koichi looked at her and smiled. "You're cute, you know that?" he said simply, before looking ahead again. Start to unroll the plan, that's it! If this doesn't work, then nothing will! Then again, we've never tried getting a girl like her to fall for you... the voice started, getting itself confused. By now, the two of them were already out of the dorm building and were just walking through the beach, still a little ways away from it.

Kana's eyes continued darting around almost randomly, until she caught his words. Then they widened and she actually froze in place, stopping completely. She only moved again when he pulled her forward since he was still moving. She almost fell but hopped forward a few steps until she was beside again. Her was face was red now, partly from the comment and partly from her reaction. She looked up at him slowly, then bowed her head again, shaking it. "No I'm not," she objected quietly.

Ah, but that is what they all say, the voice laughed. Koichi, though, chuckled softly, feeling her hopping slightly, before looking down at her. "Come now, that isnt' true; you're quite cute," he said again, not stopping as he continued to walk towards the beach; by the time they got there, it would be, at least, four in the afternoon. [i guessed] I love it when they're bashful and think nothing of themselves, the voice said somewhat evily, as though he was looking over Koichi's head and at the girl. Seems like a keeper...

Kana didn't say anthing and instead just bit her lip. That wasn't true... If it was, then why'd she always get picked on and beat up all the time? I am not... she told herself again, but didn't speak aloud. She didn't want to argue about something that didn't really matter anyway. Though, her ears were drooping and her tail lost some of its enthusiasm as it swung behind her. But at soon as she realized, she forced a smile back upon her face and her ears slowly perked again. She didn't want to bring anyone's spirits down, though she wasn't sure if she was affecting him at all. However, she didn't want to risk it. They were heading to the beach to have fun, right?

"I don't know what's happened to you in the past, Kitty, but things are... different here. I mean, we're all the same in the way we're different from most of the outside world," Koichi said warmly, knowing the look of beind hurt. Win her over, win her over, win her over. My, I love new victims, the voice chanted. "Either way, I guess we should just enjoy the beach while it's so nice out, right?" he said, knowing she wanted to get off the subject; he didn't have to be psycic to know comon sense.

Kana raised her head slowly, withdrawing the fang that had been biting her lip and closing her mouth again. She smiled softly and then nodded. She had found that to be true actually, she just had to keep that in mind. "Y-yes..." she said softly. "You're right." She lifted her head fully now as she glanced around, confirming to herself that it really was nice out. A gentle breeze blew through her hair and she smiled a bit more warmly, ears perking again as she began cheering up once more.

"Well," Koichi started, glad she'd cheered up, "we're here." In deed, they had arrived at the border of the pavement and sand to the beach. Koichi slipped off his slippers before looping them with the fingers of his free hand, stepping into the burning sand, sinking very slightly as he laughed softly. "Well, then, coming?" he smiled at her, although he was still 'escorting' her. We're gunna win the battle, win the battle, victors we shall be! the voice said, starting to crack and go crazy.
