we go about 2 hours before closing time. so generally there's only a few tables. if it's busy they usually work. at least our usual waiters.

I just watched the sisterhood of the traveling pants 2. Wow, they jammed in the last 3 books. I remember nothing and didn't read the 4th book. It was kinda confusing at times since they just cut the scene to another person.

maybe they knew they wouldnt be able to make another movie so they wanted to give the fans the entire series?

I dunno if it would really appease the fans. I flipped through the 2nd and 3rd books and they all took place before college. Everything in the movie took place after college, they shuffled things up and changed certain events.
