They didn't really change it THAT drastically... if in mentioning FY you are referring to the original. I can't think of any serious major changes from the manga to the anime that were made that bother me. I mean Ceres was way more butchered in the transition from manga to anime than FY ever was.

Ginger Snapple That would be a little akward. Takiko and him are about to...and then POOF...
But I think he can, he has pretty good control over his transformations. They just cant have sex because shes a priestess and has to be a virgin. I dunno, though...Didn't whenever Tama-boy kissed Miaka, his character lit up? Rimudo sees to have good control when they're kissing, but what about other things? I just think that'd be funny to see, and it would hold true to the 5 billion times they almost have sex...but don't. (Didn't that happen, like 5 times to Tama and Miaka?) And as far as I have read, (unless I missed it) No one told Takiko she has to be a virgin.

But she seems to have an understanding that she has to be.
Her and Rimudo wont persue a relationship together only because she is the priestess, so I think they had more of a feeling of those things.
I could be wrong, but I think in the day and age they are in they knew priestesses were to be virgins.
Seeing Takiko and Rimudo be love dovey is very rare, they have a few moments, but not many. And I know that when he did kiss her, they were pretty into it and his character never did appear.
I'm thinking he'll be ok <__<;

You know, I'm suprised that not that many people know about Genbu Kaiden. I was talking to my anime club buddies and they knew about the original FY, but they didn't know what I was talking about with this.
I guess its because its still kinda new.

I agree. It seems everyone is more familiar with the original, then the sequel. Although it's not a sequel, it kind of is. I'm not making any sense again. sweatdrop

Other than that, there wasin't much difference and if you followed the anime and manga, they both helped fill in minor gaps that one or the other left unattended.
AnC was definetly more butchared

I took my Genbu Kaiden to school today, and it was fun. I showed all the guys the picture of femRimudo on cover 3, and I asked them if they thought the chick was hot.
xd 99% of them said yes. And then, I had to show them the awful truth...
I let my friend borrow volume 1 on the bus, and it was funny when she got to the part in the inn where he changes. She actually gaped in shock.
I love Genbu Kaiden.

Yeah. I've gotten 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8!! Eight people hooked on gk!!
I'm also Tomite in an rp... but i do like that Rimudo?Uruki and Takiko are less into it. One of the reasons I like Takiko and GK better than Miaka and SS. Takiko's more mature, and a fighter who doesn't need romantic... romancey stuff all the time. Taki is a better Miko in general, and much more controlled.... So baisically, I agree with y'all
