Hey, an Epiphone is the next best thing to an LP.... Right? sweatdrop I would have gotten an Epiphone, but my dad was all, "In the future, a Gibson will be worth more than it is today. It's an investment." So we dished out the cash.
To Ash: Hey, you got a pretty nice tele. To someone else, that's a goodie floating around the guild that they want. Even I see some that I wish I also had. n.n

Dont get me wrong, the Tele is an awesome guitar, especially to have starting out, but now that I'm a moer experienced player, it just isnt as up to snuff as I'd like it to be, especially with my expanding interest in shred and metal. Theres alot of buzzing going on in the uper frets so I cant do much shredding, ya know?

Okay I've got a couple more gear pics... Heres the Teisco after a sloppy remodeling. Ripped out all the electronics and put a 1 pickup + 1 volume configuration in. I've not decided what im going to do with the other two pickups... No, it's not hanging sideways on my wall. Heres a closeup of the trem system on it, its pretty interesting... And my Saga kit guitar. Still need to shape the headstock, finish it, and replace the bridge... And my Fender mini amp....

About how old is that Teisco? It's kinda Egyptian like....so old, that it's damn cool. xD That Saga kit guitar seems to have potential to be a great guitar. And I love that Mini amp.
Yeah, Teles. aren't exactly the shredding type of guitar. From what I've heard you say once...a good Ibanez (maybe RG) with some EMG pickups would be really awsome. Especialy for what your getting into. Real versitile too.

Especialy for what your getting into. Real versitile too. The Teisco i've estimated to be from the late 60's but no later than 70 or 71. Its not the best playing guitar ever but damn if it doesnt have a fantastic blues tone, and its great for slide playing. The Saga guitar should turn out to be alright. Its not the greatest playing thing ever either, but thats mainly due to the fact that the bridge is total crap and i cant lower the action anymore. Once i replace the bridge it should play fine for what i need it for, and then i can go about finishing up the work on it. The mini amp is great for playing in places you normally couldnt drag your normal practice amp, or where you dont have a power outlet. I took my stuff to my friend's place last sunday to jam a bit and we somehow ended up haning out at Funsville. I happened to have the little Fender amp on me at the time so i whipped it and the guitar out and started playing. I even got a little crowd xD I would love to be able to get hole of a nice RG, but right now im strapping for money. I actually have a slim chance of ending up with a faded Gibson SG Special if i can convince my dad to help me buy it. My friend is selling his for $350! Great deal i must say. I cant pass it up.

Ive seen 2 guitars with a trem like that. I feel like I'm playing with a mouse trap on a guitar. I forgot the brand but it started with an M and had II at the end of it. The guitars are mostly made in Sweden and look like a mix of an SG and Jaguar.

0.0 $350?! If your dad knows that value and amazingness of these things, he'll definately help you. Everyone here has friends with awsome skills and guitars and being able to jam with. All I have is a friend who just started and has some sort of Fender copy by Hamer.
An SG for $350?! *still can wrap his mind around that one*
