"It doesn't make sense to kill yourself to go to the appointment, as important as it is, dear," Jay says then laughs ironically, "Kill two birds with one stone."
The blushing woman glares at her husband from the corner of her eye before turning back to Lael.
"It's my sixth month appointment, and we're worried that he may not be well at this point."
Margem, obviously just woken up a few minutes ago, shakes her head, "What do you mean by that?"

"What do I mean? Who am I talking about?" Kitara asks, repeating the questions that Margem (and seemingly Cassie) asked.
The blue-black haired elf shakes his head at Kitara's delay, then says, "Bluntly put, we're expecting our second child. We know that it is a boy because the doctor noticed something different than usual for elves. The doctor ordered an analysis done, and that's when we learned his gender."
The woman nods, "We don't know what's quite wrong with our son, but the doctor believes that he has a malformation of the heart or something of the sort. He is also growing at a slower rate than other elvish children, which is a cause for concern as he is not developing at the necessary rate. If this continues, we will most likely lose our son."
"Either way," Jay says, "This is our second and last child. Our son's condition has been affecting Kitara's ability to bear children. If he dies, we will only have Trea. If he lives, we will have Trea and her brother. There is no posibility for more children after this child."
Kitara sighs, "I need to be healthy, yes. However, the further apart my appointments are, the more likely the death of our son. Closer to the end of the period, it'll start to risk my health. My doctor says that I'll have to go on bedrest. Therefore, I'm not willing to wait for my leg to heal before going to this appointment."
A bit away from the pair, a red head sighs deeply, "How can we help?"
((OOC: Take that! smile That's totally the shiz! ...aka, I totally love how this post played out. *puts up a peace sign* I rock; Margem's back!))

(Did Margem just say 'the shiz'? Oh, and, by the way, I kinda expected you'd be meaning Kitara's having another child but I couldn't think of anything to post about it. I didn't expect you to make it all dramatic and stuff though.)
Darian lightly embraces his cousin, careful not to lean on her so as not to put excess weight on her leg. "The kid's got common blood with us, he'll pull through. It almost seems like making it through difficult situations runs in the family."

Lael sighs. "I understand. If it were my child... Well, I don't know what I would do. But whatever you decide, we need to get the leg splinted. Let's get you to your tent," she says.

"Hope you're right, cousin," she replies with a slight smile. She then nods to Lael, "Well, you're the doctor here so whatever you say, doc. But I still have to get to the appointment."
Margem laughs, pointedly asking the pure-blue haired elf, "Then why aren't I your sister instead of your fiance?"
Supressing a laugh himself as he helps Kitara up, Jay says, "Well, for one, we might need someone to watch over Trea for a bit. I mean, especially since we have to find a way to get Kitara to the appointment. Or, instead, find a way to teleport the doctor and office here tomorrow. Or teleport us there...."
The little girl yawns and says, "I'm tired," before going to the tent to rest.
((OOC: Oh, you know me: I love drama in RPs. Or else I'd become bored with them.... And I was VERY excited after posting that so I had to say "the shiz". Not really me, I know. [I LOVE LONG DETAILED POSTS FROM ME!]
*dances* Kinda made Mr.Ownage post. Yay. *pauses then sighs, still smiling* ...actually, probably posted without much of a push from me...
Oh, btw, Westley will come back soon from his little away-time. I have to find something that he can bring to the thread... *plots something*))

((XD Oh, drama is so much fun. I love it myself.))
"I'll just go get what I'll need," Lael says. "It'll only take a few minutes." She leaves and goes into her tent.
Cassie, meanwhile, has been watching curiousally as events have unfolded. She can't help but love excitement. Bouncing on the balls of her feet she asks Margem, "You're really pregnant? What's it like?"

After Lael went over to her tent, Jay sat down by his wife. She lay her head on his shoulder, trying not to be too worried about all the happenings that are going on.
Margem blinks a few times, seeing Cassie lookng at her when she asks the question. The redhead clears her throat before laughing, her eyes glancing to Darian for a second, "Not me. I'm not the one pregnant. Kitara is. ...I haven't figured it out, as I'm not even married, yet."
((OOC: This is why we continue to RP, Star. If only Mr.Ownage would be able to post more! sad You know what I mean.))

(The blame for my lack of posting falls partly on the fact that I have school.)
Darian laughed. "I'm just lucky I guess," he said, walking over to stand to the redhead's left with this right arm about her waist. As always when he embraced her, he had gotten used to her company enough that being near her no longer affected him, he felt a rush of emotions flood through him, cheifly his love for her and his desire to protect her at any cost. No, he thought to himself, Not any cost. I must not give my life if I can help it, for then the cost would be Margem's happiness.

She blinks, temporarily covering her grey eyes, and revels in his embrace. Her right hand lays on his, which is wrapped around her. A warm feeling washes over her and she cannot, as if she wanted to, stop the smile that presents itself publicly.
What would it be like to have kids? Margem wonders. Would they have redhair like me or blue like Darian's?
A small laugh escapes her before she can bite her lip. "It's just too wonderful, and crazy, to think about," she says, not knowing she's verbalizing her thought, "I mean, seriously...."
Hearing Margem's reaction about someone being pregnant, Kitara smiles and leans against Jay. She knows that being a mother is one of the most difficult things a woman can be, but there is so many benefits.
"Honey, let's get you to the tent. Lael can meet us there," Jay says, helping her to her feet.
She nods, letting her love start to guide her path, and help walk, to their tent.
((OOC: In response to the "must not give life... the cost would be Margem's happiness", knight-in-shining-armor! If there was a guy like that for me in real life...well, I would not be getting online for Role Playing! [Though there is a guy that I'm starting to chat with more frequently, during the day.... My crush... *blushes* 4laugh ]
Anywho, true to that thought of Darian's, as long as it means that they have a possibility of surviving, the both of them. But would it be better for him to live without her or her to live without him? I'd say neither. I think Margem would rather be dead than have Darian die before her. *frowns* I think that's what she'd do.
And we don't have school? hahahahaha XD Also, you (Mr.Ownage) get writing/posting blocks sooo much! btw, did you know that the threads in the Suites have been deleted? There's nothing from them left, at all! Got memory?
OOC longer than post! Oh noes! *ish talkative again* Yay! I'm back, for sure. twisted ))

(You'll notice the "if I can help it". If the only way for Margem to have any possibility of surviving cost Darian his life, then it's a price he'll pay. Perhaps not gladly, but he and Margem are in the same situation I guess. They'd both rather die than have the other die. And as for my writer's block, that's what happens when ammount of energy and how I'm feeling affect my inspiration. The fact that I've been able to RP at all these past couple weeks surprises me.)

Westley stopped for a bit and licked his recently wounded paw. 'Now why do I let her get close to me? Someone's going to get hurt from it. I shouldn't even be here. I should still pick up my stuff and say goodbye to all before I leave.'
He turns around and, turning back to his human form, starts walking back to the campsite. 'It's still a few miles away. How stupid can I be?'
----- A white haired man, dressed in blue jeans and a brown leather jacket, enters the campground. After talking with the grounds' keeper, he goes through the sites, searching.
'He's here, I know it. Where is he?'
After going through a few of the campsites, he comes to an occupied circle of sites. He straightens his coat a bit before approaching the group, "Excuse me, have you seen a tawny haired man around here?"
((OOC: I know what you mean about the whole thing with "saving Margem". I was just saying.... I know it's hard for you to post. I'm glad you CAN post and that you do. ...maybe it's because I'm around again, more or less? lol Also, Darian has no response to Margem's statement?))

((Oops. I so meant Cassie to ask Kitara that question. I don't know why I typed Margem. XD Ah well. It ended out working well.))
Cassie looks at the white haired man curiously. "Why? Who're you? What do you want with him?"
Lael, meanwhile, comes out of her tent with her bag. Not seeing Kitara with the group she goes to her tent. "Oh good. You're already here. Now let's see about that leg," she says, smiling. She takes out a syringe and fills it with a liquid. "This is just a simple pain killer. It'll probably make you a bit sleepy, but it shouldn't hurt the baby. However I wish I knew more about his condition, just in case of a long shot. Is there anything you can tell me? Just in case."
