It's fun! ^__^ I have a cute guy in my tuba section..XD And my P.I.T. section are so bizarre and fun to be with!! whee

blizzardmist7878 i cant wait this year im section leader since im the only bartione xd WOOO! GO BARITONES!!!!!! I actually do play both Trombone and Baritone but Trombone only comes when it's time for Jazz Band. Gotta love that jazz eh? Anyways, I did have some thought on joing colorguard but decided not to cuz Lowbrass needs to be stronger and we need more people anyways so...I'm gonna go for D.I. then Drum Major. Ugh...

About a week ago I was watching the Rose Bowl Parade. There was one band with about 20 sousaphones. The commentator said this: "I bet those things are heavy." My reply: "No s**t."
Poor guys were marching in the rain. I'm sure that sucked. Some instruments had plastic bags over them. Or the people put their rain gear over them. Some, because of this, didn't look like they had instruments.
Yeah.

Yeah. I was talking to one of my friends who's band went to the Rose Bowl parade. She said that some of the uniforms were ruined by the rains.

I'm sure they were. I believe it was raining non-stop. I feel for them. About two years ago at our Memorial Day Parade, it was pouring. People's music fell apart, color guard flags stuck to each other. People with glasses couldn't see, instruments were filling up with water.. I was a sousaphone then and water kept on dripping off of the bell into my face. It was annoying.
Then of course the year after that was sunny and really hot. I prefer the rain.
Yukimara- Do the notes slowly, then work up in speed. Then once you get up to speed, do the set over and over again until you practically memorize it.
