Our school is just now startn bak 2 rifle so im new 2 it.
Is a quad a toss the spins 4x? Same w/ 5s?

(: and, a quad is a toss w/ 4 spins, however, a toss w/ 5 spins is called something else. I am not sure on the term, however, we just call them 'a 5' or however many tosses we made.

Just pokin' my face in trying to make friends. I've been a guardo for two years now, both indoor and outdoor. Going into senior year it'll be 3 years although I think I wont' do indoor and instead go for another activity like gymnastics.

my happiest moment was when i threw a 4 1/2 with my FLAG, in the 7th grade *brag* we had finals for guard and in my solo i wanted to impress everybody so i taught myself how to do a quad with my flag. i was the only one in my whole guard that could do something better then a 2 1/2

I LOVE GUARD!!!!
We're the best section in the band! without us there is no visual, nothing nice to look at! and we do it awesomely! i heart guard! biggrin

im a bit new to guard, and ive got the captain and 2 others teaching me one one one, or more like 3 on one lol
but i learned how to do this one move today and was wondering what it was called...
its where you drop to the floor and toss it under your leg, its pretty cool
anyone know what its called ?

This year was my first year as guard captain.
I can do do a high toss spin around and catch, i taught my whole team to do that this year. i dont know much about rifle, i prefer flags. I can do a side toss with two flags(one one each side). we have exchanges too where we toss backwards to a person standing behind us. biggrin
double flags is my second favourite. and i love baton too.

I am in guard as a fish! (w00t) and plan to be in it for all four years! My friends all tell me that the worst part is being stuck with drum line on the bus and everywhere else, but i have tons of friends on the drum line so i don't know what the worst part is anymore! I guess there is none XD
