I could totally make an amazing sims game. Gah. There are so many problems the sims makes that makes the game less interesting, like the crappy clothes. I'd go way out, with MILLIONS of choices.
But I was thinking. I like playing Harvest Moon; Magic Melody. It's cute, and addictive for awhile until you start making too much money. Kind of like sims. more fun when you struggle.
I thought about it. Sims; farm life.
It'd be kind of like Harvest Moon, but you also have to take care of their needs and wants. They'd have more, like they want to buy another animal and their fear is that an animal dies or that there is a bad harvest or something.
It sounds boring, I know... but you have more to do. You stay busy. It's not just get up, go to work, come back, study before you go to bed again. They HAVE to come out with it soon.
Plus they can have a job... or one has a job while another works on the farm all day or something. confused

Actually... That sounds interesting. I'd play it.
But you'd have to give it some awesome, strange name that doesn't have anything to do with the game. I'd name it New Bags! =D
I always get bored with my Sim games because it's a routine thing, like you stated. But I usually have four people in the house... Three working and then one to stay and clean up. It works really well, because then you have several things going on at one time and you don't get bored as easy.

In Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life the was a glitch where you could cook with this spice you get and get another one. And since they could be sold for a really high price (since there's only supposed to be one) I kept doing that and ended up with way too much money. gonk
A game like that sounds pretty cool though, I'd play it.

Eww, groundedness sucks.
As for the game. Sounds interesting. Perhaps a bit too much of a "Challenge" for me though. I'm lazy sometimes, even when it comes to playing games. Ie. Sims Superstars. Yeah. That was a pretty neat idea...minus the fact you had to figure out some combinations and whatnot. I got frustrated and quit playing blaugh .
Guess we could just say I have some sort of commitment issue. xp

lol it's justifiable.
Sometimes when I play Sims, the time just flies by and I don't want to quit. Sometimes it can become quite fun.
Then suddenly; it stops being fun, and I wonder how I can possibly waste my time and money on such a game. It has its moments on both side of the fun-fence. biggrin
On the flip side, I'm a fan of a few of the Harvest Moon games I've played. 3nodding

Lol. I made all my money honestly. Games, like I said, are much less fun when you can buy whatever you want. I feel like starting a new file on Harvest Moon, but I also want to finish my current game. I already freed the goddess, but I want to get all the notes. Ugh. Why? Don't ask. Animal Crossing gets really boring easily, bu I started a new file and play for about half an hour each day. It's like my second life. Lol. I have fun decorating my house with thousands of those things that dance and make noises. Little robot-looking things. They're so funny. I tried playing FFX, but I got stuck recently and stopped. I hate the battle system. I like actually fighting that's non-stragety.

FFX is a great ******** game! christine, shut up. anyway, the battle system is a little different from previous final fantasys, but i like it. i dont think theres much of strategy needed, though i dont mind strategy anyway. and even if you dont like the battle system, the story is still fantastic! and graphics are beatuiful as well biggrin

The story is great. There have been some battles though that you will die if you just fight. little battles are okay with small monsters, but right now I am stuck on that sky monster thing that is protecting Maester Seymour in the sky, and keeping us from getting to the wedding or something. Yah, this thing is hard! I like games like god of war, or zelda. Games that you can button mash if you're lazy enough. God of War became a button masher every once in awhile because of the monsters all over to the point where you couldn't even see yourself. But they had that cool button thing so you could kill them in cool ways. I loved that game. Another great story too!

Eeeh.
Me 'n' FFX don't get along too well. I've only played 20 minutes into it, and thought it was...well...boring.
All you do is hit the 'x' button. Over and over and over. And during the introduction, you walk two feet then get hit with another video-screen moment.
I do agree, the graphics are impressive, and I'm sure the story line is impressive, it's just a really, really slow start.
