Dejected, Flower grabbed one last icicle and took aim. This was going to be her last try for today at least.

 High Frost had returned yet again, a ball of energy in his chest, ready to try once more to thwart the icicle toss. Despite time away, it plagued him, and he was still intent on finding some way to make an icicle pierce the target drawn in the snow. He walked over, broke off an icicle, and tromped to the perch from which he could drop it...
And somehow, miraculously, he hit the target. High Frost stared down at the result of his efforts, slightly stunned. After a long moment, the kiokote shook his head and straightened himself, a proud smile spreading across his face. He nodded triumphantly and went to retrieve his token.

After such success on his last visit, High Frost was content. He figured, however, that he may as well visit the booth that had plagued him all winter one last time as the festival drew to a close. With a deep breath, he broke off an icicle and began his trials...1/10

He was close, but not close enough. He decided to try some shenanigans again, and with his next toss, he gave a little shake of his head as he dropped the ice.3/10

He was a bit farther off with his last throw, which was almost a relief -- it was such a pain to get so close and still miss. High Frost found another icicle and decided to shake his head yet again, because why not~5/15

The last one was even farther off. High Frost chuckled a bit and found another icicle. He decided, with already cold lips, to try a method from his first attempts and wait for the icicle to let go after melting its way free from his grip.6/15

That one landed to the side as well. He found another icicle and decided to close his eyes after aligning himself over the target, letting the icicle fly without guidance.7/15
