As the group continued, they would spot a Wooper rolling around playfully in a puddle. Laughing, the water pokemon waved at them before disappearing into some bushes. It would seem it had been no threat to them!

The pokemon they came across next was familiar, another wooper. Lucifer inched towards it menancingly, but both Korbin and Kiani blocked his path. "Leave it be, it's no threat to us and it's not going to stop us." Kiani said, narrowing her eyes at her newest companion. "> Don't bother them if they don't bother you. <" Korbin said, mimicking his trainer. "> But, the lovely lovely blood is still in its body. <" Lucifer replied, seeming to whine. Korbin and Kiani glared at him, though Kiani couldn't understand his words. Finally, he relented and moved back to Kiani's side as they continued on their way without molesting the wooper.

Alice couldn't help stopping in surprise as she watched the Flabebe work. She glanced down at at the flowers and mushrooms, placed in a strange but clearly deliberate organization. Biting her lip, she debated for a second before dropping down in the tall grass. She peaked over the tops of the grass with Vorpal (who mostly just seemed concerned, but was going with it). What was going on? Could she find out?

The Cubone followed the group, gritting his teeth to keep from snarling at the Croagunk. The disdainful attitude made him his with frustration, but at least the human had some semblance of honor. (Or so it seemed from his perspective.) Ignoring the ghost, he once again turned to Jekyll, an icy look on his face. There was no point in responding to the idiot's babbling. He'd nod slightly before dodging to the right, a preemptive defense.

Watching the Flabebe work, Alice would find that the very instant she blinked her eye's they would vanish. Odd little creatures, but my that ring did look inviting. The grass though wet seemed soft and comfortable. Maybe if she just laid down for a minute....
Sweet relief. The girl finally stopped shivering. This new area she was entering wasn't cold at all.. in fact it seemed a bit odd. Where exactly was she? Looking at the three paths, she then chose the middle and began the start of this new journey..
Surprisingly as the Cubone went for his dodge, Jekyll would actually drop down onto his knees, putting his hands together in prayer. ">Oh Arceus whom art in heaven, praise be thy name and....<" Suddenly the Croagunk's would begin to expand as he snickered, leaping forward and yelling in a voice which echo'd clearly in the cavern ">SNOOOOOOOOOOOOT!<" Looks like he was trying to catch the Cubone off-guard with for a Headbutt! Either that or he couldn't keep the prayer up long enough for it to be particularly astonishing.
Starter Pokemon: Croagunk [M] Name & Level: Jekyll, Lv 5 [Temperament] Naughty Bio:The story of how Argyle met Jekyll is a bit of an odd one. After purchasing a bulk shipment of skin rejuvenating mud from Sinnoh's Great Marsh (Guarnteed to take twenty years off your appearance!), Mistress Rosevelt had set aside some time for a fully immersive experience with the product, during which she received quite the surprise. It would seem the mud had come with stowaway in the form of an egg. Unfortunately it was about this same time the egg decided to hatch, splattering the aristocratic woman with muck and eggshell. After a shriek and shrill cry for the nearest Argyle to attend her, Verde arrived and was immediately ordered to dispose of the creature, although not before cleaning up the mess it had created. Whispering a snide remark just below his breath, both Mistress and Argyle were in for a surprise when the newly born Croagunk began to snicker devilishly. It seemed the Poison-type had heard the boy, and shared his sense of humor. Amused by this fact the young Butler then went about the task of convincing Mistress Rosevelt that the Croagunk would be quite useful in his regular duties, allowing him to make the manor to "shine as radiantly as you do Mistress Rosevelt". Little more in the way of convincing was required on the boy's part, and so he obtained his first and for the time being only Pokemon.
Since then Jekyll has proven a good match for Argyle, frequently snickering at the boy's comments be they made aloud, or simply implied. Unlike Argyle however Jekyll does nothing to hide his wicked nature, frequently mocking others quite openly and then laughing about it. Though cruel he is not crude, and more than willingly to amuse himself by catching the enemy off guard. [11-4]+[7-7] = 7 points to Tsuna!
As the ducklett's attack managed to blow through the water and strake Tsuna pretty hard, Alexander strongly considered ordering another flail to try and finish off the bird. But, as he forced his foot out of the mud, the boy had a better idea. One that did not sit well with him, but better all the same. He knew he could not keep going after this battle. He knew he would have to turn back. And he figured he might not come down this route again. So what would be smarter? Having only one pokemon suitable for most terrains with a fish to handle aquaeous environments? Or adding a bird to the team for even further coverage?
Not fond of the idea of attempting to capture his pawniard's killer, the boy still grabbed his last pokeball from what little remained of his supplies. It was a gamble, to be sure, but it was better than leaving himself short-handed. So, with that thought, the boy tossed his final ball at the wounded ducklett while she was still flapping about. If it worked, she might be spared from too much torment and even live a comfortable existence eventually. If not... Then one way or another she was going to be turned into a bloody pulp if Alexander had his way with things.
{{OoC: Taking a gamble since doing this without asking about the rate first, but since it got knocked down to two HP, I'm gonna wager ducklett's catch rate is pretty low at the moment.}}
Jin-Hua would find that as she traveled down the pathway of floating debris that she'd begin to hear the gentle 'clonk clonk' of rocks striking against one another. Up ahead, on a stone slightly higher than the others, was a Bonsly. More importantly it was a Bonsly rhythmically waving it's head back and forth, it's 'boughs' striking against the side of it's body as it walked. Without warning the Rock-type would suddenly jump colliding with the debris belt with a heavy thud and causing most of the stones to shatter into tiny floating pieces. The next instant he fell through. Considering how much a Bonsly weighed the gravity much have been a little fault here. Either way Jin-hua now had a problem, the stones in front of her too small to support her weight for more than a few seconds as they floated. She'd have to move fast....of course she could always turn back....

((Not a problem! Yes, Ducklett Capture roll is 3+ ^^ Alright, I forgot a couple things so I'm adding them to this post.))
DUCKLETT DEFEATED GLAIVE!
DUCKLETT GAINS 42 EXP! 42/75
TSUNA GAINS 13 EXP POINTS!
The pokeball hit the Ducklett squarely on it's beak before it was engulfed with the red light. The ball only shook twice before settling down to white. Alexander had successfully caught a Ducklett! They were now free to move forward down the path!

(7-5)+(13-12) = 3 DMG! Cubone is at 13 HP!
The Headbutt hit home, but the Cubone planted his little feet into the ground roughly, refusing to be moved too far. He glared right at Jekyll, spitting on the ground. A little bit of damage wouldn't do that much, and there was still fight in his heart. He shut his eyes, twirling his bone and focusing. The rocks around him floated in the air, spinning around him as they glowed in the dim cavern light. Like a conductor, he'd swing his bone to point at the Croagunk, and the rocks would follow. He was tapping into his Ancient Power!

Alice couldn't help it... she was too curious. Besides, she needed to learn things about the island After a bit of quiet coaxing and muttering to Vorpal (who firmly pressed himself to her side-- if she was doing this, she wasn't doing it alone), she crawled towards the ring. Before she entered, pulled out her camera, and snapped a quick photo with her Snap Shot. Somehow, she felt that her professor might be interested in the ring. Carefully not to touch any of the flowers or mushroom, she rolled into the ring, and rested back. She lay there quietly, hugging Vorpal to her chest, and shut her eyes.
Eye's goggling at the floating stones, Jekyll would take a moment to look back at Argyle. It was clear however the boy had opted to take no part in this battle however. That being the case, it would seem for once Jekyll was completely on his own. Making like a tree frog, the Croagunk would leaf the @#$^ out of there. He'd been hit by enough stones today, thank you very much!
