With Luca's team and Sylva's team, the Rockets inadvertently gave up. With the fall of another six Pokemon, the grunts fell in defeat. There was no way out, not with these monsters blocking their path. Soon enough, flashing lights and the sound of sirens bellowed into the room. Several men in black uniforms followed after a young woman with bright blue hair. "Arrest anyone in black!" The woman shouted, easily spotting Luca and Sylva among those not in a uniform. "Leave the two girls to me." She added. Allure stepped to the side, allowing the men to run past Luca and Sylva, easily taking down several grunts and fighting somewhat with a few that still thought they could resist. Sylva returned Leirsa, Allure and Shane to their balls, leaving Wixon to follow behind her.
Officer Jenny, offered the girls a smile as she approached, a growlithe eagerly following at her feet. "I should thank you two, but I have to ask. How on earth did you end up here to stop Team Rocket?" She seemed rather flabbergasted. She could see from the front of the building it didn't look at all like someone was inside, and the alleyway to the side of the building was narrow, not even a car could really fit down it, so it made her honestly wonder not only how Team Rocket managed to break down the wall without alarming the guard and stopping the guard before he could report the break- in, but also how two random trainers noticed it and went in for a rescue."

Luca's eagerness to clean up the black-clad thugs calmed down as the police finally stormed in, making a broad sweep through the room as what little will to fight the Rockets had was met with swift force. Seeing them cleaning up what was left, Luca returned Seath and Izalith and put away her sword, giving the two a chance to rest while Priscilla let out a tired sigh, leaning against her scythe. The young woman couldn't help but grin as the officer approached them seemed rather confused how they got here, though happy about their intervention none the less. "We saw a hole in the building," She joked, her assessment not exactly untrue. "Kidding aside though, these guys weren't exactly quiet when they busted in. We came to the front door to see if the show was still going on, and we could hear them dropping all this stuff they wanted to steal. After that we just kinda looked around and found where they broke in."
She reached down to her feet to pick up the emerald helmet that she'd set down earlier, the metal feeling as if it vibrated softly, as well as a large, heavy blade that slid over to them during the chaos. "We didn't entirely get the jump on them, but evidently they weren't expecting someone to drop in like we did, seeing as how their backup plan seemed to only be to throw s**t at us." While they spoke, Luca noticed some of the other police officers guiding a group of people out of one of the corners she hadn't noticed before. They rubbed their wrists and some were only just getting off the ground, with piles of rope left to rest on the floor. Employees that weren't on security, she had to guess, who were probably still sorting out their own work when the Rockets busted in.

Sylva nodded along with Luca's words. Seeing the swordswoman had everything covered as far as explaining their place in all this. Officer Jenny hummed a bit as she thought over this. "I see. Well, it's a good thing you two have good, rather, bad timing." She chuckled. "Anyway, we'll have to ask you two to leave, but I will have to check you for items, with how messy this place is, we can't risk something having fallen onto your pers-" "Please wait." A voice spoke up in the all the clammer. An older gentleman, likely in his later 5o's appeared from a small group of people, apparently haven been tied up in the back, just out of sight of the girls. He took presence between the girls, raising a hand up as if he was going to rest both hands on either of the girls' shoulders. A rather... excited smile crossed his face as he did so. "I must thank these girls immensely!" He voiced, sounding far to cheery for a man who would of likely died this night. "If not for these two's timing myself and my staff would of been done for. I must reward them before they're sent away. After all, they had no reason to stick by and protect a bunch of artifacts." Looking down to Luca first he noticed the objects in her hands. "That Helmet was found on a very old battle site near an ancient tower in Kalos," He suddenly went off on a tale of ancient knights and other artifacts he'd collected from the Kalos region.
Meanwhile, on the floor at Sylva's feet, the helmet that almost mirrored the one Luca held had caught Wixon's attention. The cubone approached it, first poking it with her bone, then stepping up to it entirely to get a closer look at it. 'Dost thou also wear a helm to protect thine head?' The helmet suddenly spoke, an odd language that Wixon only tilted her head at. Sylva looked down, rather startled by the sound the confused Wixon made. "Oh, it's this thing." Sylva mentioned, grabbing the helmet from the floor. It felt cold in her hands, and it vibrated softly on her finger and palms. 'Thou hold me so delicatly, I am honored to find myself in such a gentle woman's hand.' When the voice entered her head, Sylva couldn't help but jump, nearly dropping the helmet. She quickly darted over to Luca, holding the helmet towards Luca's face. "THIS THING JUST SPOKE TO ME!" She shouted.
The man from earlier, widened his eyes, stepping back. Before long a hardy laugh erupted from his lips. "That one must be home of a Helmition. I am honestly shocked one managed to fall into our care." Sylva glanced over to the man, then back to Luca, then back to the man. 'I am sorry to have startled thou mi'lady, please do not fret.' "Sadly, for me, I cannot have a Pokemon in my collecting, least of all that sort. I'll have to ask you to take it off my hands... say, that sounds like a wonderful reward for aiding me. Yes, you may keep that one. As for something you both can have, Here." Reaching into a apparently hidden pocket of his suit jacket, the male pulled out two large orbs, golden in colour. "These are worth quite a lot of money, I'm sure you can find a place to sell them. Trainers like you need a lot of cash don't you?" He chuckled once more. Still rather unaware that Luca also held a Helmition of her own.

Luca nodded as the officer asked them to head out, ready to return the items that happened to come her way before the old man appeared before them. The young woman gave the man an odd look, but smiled a little at the amount of energy he had, giving a small wave as he insisted on rewarding them. "No no, you don't..." She started to say, before the show's curator went off on a story of old warriors and the relics they left behind. That caught her attention, and she became keenly interested in hearing what he had to say. She hardly noticed how cold the metal helmet she had was, or how it slowly began to vibrate more and more the longer she held it. She only really came back to reality when Sylva practically screamed, shouting at her about a helmet that came to life.
Blinking a few times, it took the swordswoman a few moments to understand what her companion was talking about, certainly helped by the older gentleman explaining that it was, in fact, a pokemon. A Helmition, apparently. She couldn't help but chuckle a bit as Sylva still seemed both alarmed and confused, patting the girl's back as the helmet seemed to apologize. "Well, that's pretty cool at least, isn't it? Not every day that you find something like this." Chuckling, the young woman turned back to the curator, as he offered them each a large, gold nugget, shimmering in the dim light that was on overhead. She took it gladly, stuffing it away in her bag for later, before finally noticing the odd shaking of her own helmet. Resting the large, heavy blade against her side, Luca brought up the green platemail to look at it, looking it over as it did nothing more than vibrate. There didn't seem to be anything inside it, and the chill did little else but make it cold to the touch, but it still felt just as odd as the one her redheaded friend held in her arms.
So she put it on. With a small shrug she turned it around and slid it over her head, oblivious to the potential dangers that there might be. She was a little surprised to find it fit snugly around her head, her hair cascading down the back of it as she turned to face Sylva, looking rather goofy with just the emerald plating around her face. As she did however, the thing finally came to life--And screamed something unholy straight into the minds of the small group around her. It sounded like some amalgamation of curses and insults, only stopping as Luca lifted it back up, a wide eye twitching and the top of her hair frayed as it stood on end. "Well what do you know, it's alive too," She chuckled, lowering it back down as she tried to shake off the ringing in her ears.
"By the Gods woman," A deeply annoyed voice rang out, the Helmition now shuffling around in her grasp. "You taste awful! It's like your soul were made of black sludge and sweaty debauchery!"

Ray shook his head, smiling ruefully. The reason Rose liked fire pokemon.. that was so her, wasn't it? "You sure you're older than me?" he asked, delighting in the double meaning that she couldn't pick up on. "'Cuz it sounds like you could just get some light up stuffed animals and call it a day." He understood, of course, that no toy could compare to having a pokemon to work with. But all of the reasons Rose listed... why even bother with something you had to take care of, over something as easy as a doll?
Ray kept an eye out for a pokemon that would be less of a pain to battle, trying to ignore Rose taking down an abra with a lot more ease than he had. Even if it was lucky. Why is she cheering them on? Did that even help? He figured it'd be distracting if anything. "I know, I'm not-" he stopped before he said something he'd regret. "Thanks." He had just spotted an oddish, and so was distracted by commanding... cole to battle it. He jumped a little when his klow returned, twining around his leg on her way to his wrist. When Cole returned, Ray sighed in frustration. "You got poisoned." Cole grimaced, holding his arms away from his body and shivering. He did not feel good.
"Hey, c'mere." Ray motioned Cole forward. He pulled something from his pack and held it out to the charmander. Cole sniffed and then his eyes brightened. He grabbed the sitrus berry and scarfed it down, making happy little 'chmpf' noises. He barely even noticed Ray spraying him with the stinging potions for healing.

Sylva watched in disbelief as Luca put the helmet on, and then a sudden unholy screeching came from it. Once Luca pulled it off, the helmet spoke as well. This one was also a Helmition... apparently. "How curious." The male spoke, rubbing his chin with his hand. "To think we've had two of them this entire time. Well, perhaps that would explain the sluggish feeling we've been feeling as of late. Well, it's a good thing these two will have capable trainers to make them stronger." Turning slightly to watch as a few grunts were finally toted off, the curator hummed slightly before he turned back towards the young trainers. "Come to think of it... I'm going to be busy now inventorying my artifacts, and with the repairs on this building.. I"m going to be far to busy..." With a nod the male looked back. "Julia?"
A moment passed before a young woman appeared at the side of the curator, her suit somewhat disheveled, her black hair that was once in a bun now hung rather haphazardly in it's place. She looked a right mess, but no worse for the wear. "Yes sir?" She inquired, stepping up to his side. "I'm going to be busy for the next few days, and I'm afraid I'm going to miss that party on the S.S. Allana, could you make a call and tell them I'm sending these two in my place?" The curator then glanced over to the young girls. "I fell like those Big Nuggets might not be enough to show my gratitude... So, why don't you take a nice cruise instead. It's a round trip cruise to Alola." he added with a smile.
Sylva stepped in closer to Luca, now hugging the Hemition close to her chest. "I mean... It's free food, and I've kinda always wanted to visit Alola." Sylva whispered. It sounded like a sweet deal actually. "We could always snatch up the next badge before getting on board?" She added. As she recalled Luca said the next gym was Electric-types... Wixon was pretty strong now. She could likely handle the upcoming battle really well.

It seemed particularly not fond of Luca's 'taste' Which made Sylva kind of wonder what she 'tasted' like to her own Helmition, who was still being held in her hands. She held the helmet up, placing it onto her own head, feeling an odd sensation run along her face. 'Mi'lady. I fell honored thou would place me upon thine head. Your taste is rather intoxicating. Thou hath giveth me quite the treat.' Sylva tugged off the helmet, turning it to face her. "Really?" She inquired looking up to Luca... somewhat questioning why her Helmition hated her taste, but her own loved hers. Do ghosts even have a taste pallet? 'I shall treasure this taste until my end cometh.' "Sweet... okay, Uh... Thanks Alrun." Sylva replied, using a ball on the helmet,to officially make him hers.
After that, the talk of the cruise continued. Sylva nodded to Luca's words, darting her eyes between the curator and her companion. "Who said we had to actually go to the party? If there is free food, I'm all for it. Plus, a luxury bedroom? And, and... Have you ever had wine? Like, that s**t is hella sweet. They likely won't even bother carding us either." It didn't occur to Sylva to even question Luca's age, nor remember if she'd even been told what it was. She herself one the cusp of turning twenty-one.

Regardless, Luca seemed to bite, meaning they were going on this cruise. Sylva nodded firmly, turning back towards the curator as Luca informed him they'd be taking his offer. "Splendid! Alright, then I'll be sure Julia has everything squared away. When you get to the ship just tell them you're from the Wilmott Party, and they should usher you inside." With this final bit of information, the curator took a deep bow. "Thank you once more, young ladies. Please, do come and visit my display again sometime... this time hopefully when it's open and all in order." The male chuckled. With that, he left, leaving Officer Jenny to speak up once more. "Mr. Wilmott has been a generous donator to various charities in Cerluean... as well as the whole world. You don't find to many men or women like him these days." She stated, lightly sighing. "Anyway, you've got a boat to catch now, so I just need to look you girls over and you're free to leave." "New clothes, two badges, a few good meals, beating the s**t out of some thugs, and now we've got a luxury cruise we get to go on. Not quite the sort of day you expected when becoming a trainer, huh?" Despite her energy, a small yawn escaped her lips, the sun having disappeared from the night sky, but its light still keeping the blue hue illuminated.
"We'll have to set out for Vermilion first thing in the morning, and train along the way," She noted, as she started for the Pokemon Center, waiting for her companion to follow. "Well I'm glad you're entertained by my passions in life," She joked, grinning ear to ear as they walked along towards the center. Their destination set for the time being, the two girls made their way back to the Pokemon Center. Healing up their Pokemon, Sylva grabbed a few bed-time snacks and trailed to the room with Luca. Settling in her bed for the night, it was yet another miracle that she passed out relatively quickly. For the most part, the night was quiet. For Sylva it was at least. She got up only once to use to the rest room, nimbly stepping over Allure who rested between her bed and the bathroom. Leirsa made little fuss, likely because Allure was doing a good job of guarding Sylva's bed. The newest addition, Alrun, found himself on the bed post just over Sylva's bed. It was still hard to see the truth behind Alrun's growing attachment to Sylva... Though, when it came to most of her Pokemon thus far, they all seemed rather... attached in one way or the other. Wixon and Rolex rested on the bed to Sylva's side, while the rest of her ghostly or... odd group of Pokemon scattered themselves around the room, mixing in a bit with Luca's Pokemon as well. It only made sense that if Luca and Sylva were to be friends, then their Pokemon could be friends as well.
Whatever the case, the night past, and with the sun's awakening, Sylva found her eyes opening to greet it. It was such an odd feeling... she wanted to go back to sleep, but she was also... eager. Eager to begin training, eager to take on another challenge, eager to continue traveling.

Luca was already up by the time Sylva was roused from her sleep by the sunlight filtering in, rubbing a towel against her long hair to dry it out. "Finally starting to wake up?" She asked quietly, in case the redhead was just stirring her sleep. The trash can sitting just underneath the nightstands between beds was filled with discarded rags stained with some sort of cleaner, and Luca's blade was laying at her side across the bed. Priscilla was also up as well, taking up her trainer's other flank and facing away from their companion, letting out a sleepy yawn as her tail spilled over the side of the bed, swishing softly from side to side.
When the swordswoman was satisfied with her towel-drying, she rose from the mattress, and moved over to grab her pants and jacket from off a nearby table. It took her but a moment to slide into her red-and-white clothes, her long coat running down to her knees and trapping the warmth of her body, while holding back the slight chill of the air conditioning. "Vermillion's not too far, but we'll pass through another city along the way, so if you want to stop along the way to check out anything in Saffron, we can."
