Room C Alistaire & Harland
Alistaire had followed Harland into the room - and then, as each moment passed, sincerely regretted even coming on the mission in the first place. The smell alone was sickening, but the sight of the blood coughed onto Harland's front and across his clothes was downright nauseating. It would do him little good to back off now, however, and Alistaire clenched his teeth tightly together, willing the panic that had risen back down into the depths of his mind.
He was starting to get better at controlling it, but the fact that it was still a problem was the worst part.
Once the chains were removed, and the prisoner - patient - whatever it was - had been successfully brought to the next room, Alistaire cast a sideways glance at Harland, his face pale, but his expression one of determination (and also mild annoyance).
"You'd think," he said, as he stared down at the patient, "they would come up with better methods to...situations such as these."
The person reared, yellowed teeth snapping at its own arms, and Alistaire yanked hard, resisting the urge to vomit just from touching it.

Room C Alistaire & Harland
He felt sick, but Grimshaw's constant presence and growled reassurance, as well as Harland's, made things marginally better. The patient was still attempting to chew off his own arms, but Alistaire seized both of them and pulled, a snarl passing through his lips.

Room C Alistaire & Harland
A string of curses, unlike Alistaire unless he was usually around Ian, streamed through his clenched teeth as Alistaire fought with their patient, struggling to subdue him. He seemed to be making little headway, and Alistaire, biting back the urge to throw up, gave Harland a sideways look filled with anger.
"This is ******** messed up."

Maybe he could summon one of his daggers and just stab it, but something told him that would be a bad idea.

Room C Alistaire & Harland
Alistaire gave a snarl, half of impatience, half of anger, though none of it was directed toward Harland (thankfully). After what seemed like ages, however, the fight seemed to ebb out of the patient and he sagged there in the chains, limp and docile. Alistaire took a step backwards, still using the majority of his effort to try and suppress the sickening nausea in his throat.
"Let's keep moving," he said flatly to Harland, voice a little hoarse. "I want to get the hell out of here."face your demons 5 rolls so let's vamoose!

Room A "Like you would know, sweetheart." Finn retorted with a scoff, before shaking his head at her offer of her jacket in place of a cloth, "But if you want, I suppose I would be happy to demonstrate my endurance to you. I keep telling you. Just call." And if he wasn't busy, he'd probably answer that call pretty damn quick. His attention shifted when Ripley's did, and he began to smirk again. "I love it when you talk dirty" The laundry part was left out, of course.

Room B Arorangi, Oliver & Lydia
They'd almost managed to get the patient subdued, but not quite. Lydia's enthusiasm, mingled with Arorangi's never ending cheerfulness and Oliver's panicking nervousness, made for a very strange combination of emotions among the trio, but they seemed to be working well enough together anyway. The strange dynamic was comfortable for Arorangi, at the very least.
He patted Oliver's shoulder consolingly, giving it a little squeeze.
"Look, we are almost finished," he said - except apparently it was too soon to say, because behind him the patient gave a little, half-strangled screech and raised itself up again, dragging the chains across the ground. Arorangi leapt towards it and wrestled with it again, attempting to tether them down once more.
"Whoops," he said, and flashed Lydia and Oliver a grin. "Looks like I spoke too soon, give me a hand here, will you?"

Room B Arorangi, Oliver & Lydia "C-can you guys stop saying that? Please?" Oliver pleaded, leaping to help re-tether the patient. He was surprisingly strong for looking so sickly. His hands were shaking, but he managed to get the missing tether re-attached, and then the patient was momentarily calm. " D-don't say 'whoops'," The Life trainee whispered. The patient in the center of the room had settled for a distant stare, perhaps the plaintive request would be more helpful for the boy than their charge. Timer: 20/30

[ Cell 9 - Room B ]In the end, even though Harland had tried to keep close to the creature so that Alistaire wouldn't have to, they were a team for a reason: they needed to work together, to subdue the creature.
"A long shower," Harland said, "when we're home."
"An' the finest french press I can find, an' I'll get nice sheets an' some very fluffy towels an' ye can get clean an' warm an' far from here," Harland promised, his jaw set, as he prepared to anchor the patient down for Quarantine.
"My bandanna's as clean as I'm goin' t' get, would ye care to wear it over your face instead?" Harland asked, suddenly more concerned for Alistaire than for himself.

Room BGroup: Aro, Olive Oil and Lyd's Lydia let out a long sigh, though the smile never left her face. "This ones being a bit of a fussy thing isn't he?" She went back to help, however, this time hoping that what was tethered down would stay tethered down. She really wanted to get to the next room so she could take the time to scrape off a sample of blood. Timer: 20/30

Room A - Noemi, Milo and Cee
Noemi's chill had long faded and though Milo's grip was loose, she didn't bother leaving him anyways. The drama between Stormy and Tuck and Evan and Heidi was not lost on the mist huntress, and she desperately wanted to just squish everyone together and tell them it'd be okay.
Instead her gaze went to the floor, even as Milo started to mumble to himself.
"Ah..what are gaim and lockseeds?" She whispered to Milo, her hand coming out again to take Cee's, "I wonder what we are suppose to do now?" She also managed to whisper, but this was more directed at Cee, who was still with them and she was very thankful.

[ Room A ]
"Huh ... you know I never thought about it," Chel said, hand on her scarf. "Coat just seemed easier, I guess." That was Chel for you. Big heart.
The pink-haired hunter leaned closer into Finn and whispered, "No, but really. How come you didn't tell me?" Really, for Chel it was so obvious. Not by Finn of course- he was just his usual a*****e self. Instead it was by Ripley's behavior- the denial, the confusion and the blatant change of subjects. Chel was so on to you guys.
But then Ripley moved to talk to the others, and Chel moved to do the same, following the group like a little lamb. She perked up slightly at the mention of alcohol. "Party? Can we make it a laundry-whiskey-dye-Jack's-hair-back-party?" Seriously, the blonde was unsettling. "Or maybe we could make it blue ... or pink." A casual look to Finn as if to say partners in crime?

[Room B] Countdown: 25 seconds
Harlow was extremely relieved to be almost done. She felt like they were making good time so far, but she also was getting the creeps from this thing. She wanted to get out of here and she nodded to Nellie as she talked about them getting out of there. "Agreed lets go." She looked to them and offered them a smile but before she started moving she heard a chain snap.
Alarmed she turned around for a moment as she saw that the creature was about to get away. Frustrated she turned and began to chain the creature back up. She was trying to think and move quickly on her feet, once the chain was back up she turned. "Now lets go."
