00zingTea kept running. She didn't have to look back to know it was there, she could hear it. "Hey I made you some cookies!" Her mother's voice drifted through the forest, penetrating even the monster's heavy steps. 00zingTea could practically smell them, those cookies. She wanted nothing more than to gorge herself in cookies. A mountain of cookies. "Hurry up they are taste the best hot." 00zingTea was slowing down. She caught her run become and jog and sped back up again. No, her mom wasn't here. It was just her and this monster! She'd have cookies when she was done! She didn't run fast enough. Teeth clamped over her, darkness was all she could see, and that was it. The beast had got her and she was dead. Except she wasn't. The second chance timer in her hand clicked and glowed and was used. She wasn't dead. She was there running, the beast breathing down her neck, just like before. Had it reversed time? Or simply resurrected her? She didn't know. She didn't care. Waffleberry was running again. Dying wasn't fun, okay. Even in weird game/dream worlds. The Chase: Part 1
IttyBitty had never run so fast in her life as she was right now. She felt the air around her move as the Jabberwock swiped out for her, felt the tip of a claw graze against her leg. With a burst of adrenalin, she found the means to run even faster.

The slime hatter kept up her pace, more of a jog then a full on run for life. She reached a fork in the road. She could make out some sort of clock on one side and a bottle of something on other. She kept jogging and veered toward the bottle, swooping it up as she passed by and downing it's contents. Anything would be helpful. Her pocket card informed her her hp is restored to 15. She could hear it again, it's footfalls shaking the ground, it just wasn't going to give up! The Chase: Part 2
As she ran, voices started to whisper around her. Comforting, promising. Why, she was perfectly safe! All she had to do was stop and talk to the voices that promised her safety.
She couldn't hear the Jabberwock anymore anyway, so what was the harm? Slowing, IttyBitty finally came to a stop. Turning around, she opened her mouth to thank the voices. Only to see sharp, white teeth easily as long as she was tall fill her vision.

{The Chase: Part 1: Attempt 2}Reappearing where she was before, ShadowStalker blinks a couple time trying to figure out what just happen. Pushing her hand through her hair, she jumps when she heard the noise long before she saw the Jobberwock behind her. Dodging another attack from it barely, she takes off running.

She didn't want to stop running. Not even when things grew lighter, and the sounds of monster didn't seem quite so close. Nope. She didn't stop running for what seemed like not very long at all, not until the sounds seemed almost distant. When she did turn to look, she could see dark in the trees behind her. She could still hear the beast, but it was no longer chasing her. Waffleberry let herself sigh with relief, then continued putting distance between herself and creature. That had not been overly fun. Part 5 - Success!

She glance for a second over her shoulder before taking off away from the Jobberwock. While it didn't sink its teeth into her, it did get a small bite that did enough damage.
