Rivven heard the voice and opend the door, closing it behind himself and heading up to the voices source. Pale in bed, with the child. "I'm sorry if I have come at a bad time Mrs. Pale. But, my congradulations on the child. I am happy for you." he said, considering what the future might be like for his curse filled relationship. "If this is a bad time for you, I can go... it's not terribly important, I'm sorry if I've intruded." he said, bowing slightly as he felt he should for good manner, especially since she was the guild's head, and frowning slightly. But looking at the little child, it faded away on it's own. Such happy things.

"Why thank you. But surely you didn't come here just for that. If you didn you'd be the first." She sat up a bit more and repositioned the child "What buisness do you have here? I would think you would be at home, spending time with Morgan." Or keeping on eye on her, but she didn't add that as the man seemed like a decent guy.

That caught Rivven by surprise, and he looked at her with a start. But, of course she'd be getting plenty of information as the head of the guild, and though their relationship didn't seem like it would be anything for anyone else to make not of, they hadn't been hiding it either. "Didn't know you'd have heard about us." he shrugged a bit uncomfortably, and straightened his posture to try to get a bit of his composure back before he spoke again. "Actually, I intended to give my good wishes when I visited, but no, that wasn't why. I was going to ask about a job. You see I need to begin saving for... a rather large investment I might make some time fairly soon, and I don't really have any money at this point, so I thougt I would ask about a job. The bar seemed understaffed, and I personally didn't think I was that great a cook, but Morgan said I was up for it, so I thought it might be worth a try..." he said, blushing slowly as he mentioned the investment and hoping it didn't give away what it would be.

She knew everything, but she was a bit more optimistic than Mordrid. She thought the right person could make it work. "Of course you can have a job there. I own the deed but that's it, and I think it's the one thing that we really need. So many people can't cook here at all!" she

Cloud had been wandering back from the ocean when she saw the lights on in the castle. She hoped that Pale was home, she hadn't seen her in a while and had desperately wanted to check up on her to make sure she was okay.
Cloud knocked timidly on the door.

Rivven smiled and blushed a little, looking down. "Uhm, thank you, Mrs. Pale. I'll... do my best. It is very kind of you, I appreciate it." he smiled a little and stood for a moment before he made up his mind to stay and let himself talk instead of rushing off to other things. "The child... may I ask it's name? Actually, I'm afraid I do not even know who your husband is, I'm afraid I am rather out of touch with most of what goes on here."

"Her name is Illiana," she smiled and showed the sleeping girl to him "And thank you for assuming I have one, I can't tell you had odd everyone's been acting lately. His name is Jay Kimache. Anyways, I need to get to sleep, sorry for pushing you out, but you're welcome to call whenever."

It seemed the timing on his decision had been rather bad after all, but he had the grace not to let it show this time. "A good name. Well then, I am sorry to have disturbed you, I shall be on my way then. I wish you a pleasent day, Mrs. Kimache." assuming women here followed the same process of taking on the husbands name which he was used to. "And feel free to send me message as well, whenever you decide it is time she start to learn about the chakra. You should have no trouble finding me, and I would assume that you'll know better than I when she needs to understand the magic." He bowed at the waist again, and left carefully closing the door behind him quietly, so as not to wake the girl. He idly turned over a thought in his head as he left, wondering what exactly she had meant by people doubting she had a husband.

Kasai peered into the open window next to him, noticing the dimly lit room, almost a dreary look to it. He saw Pale in there finishing a conversation with an odd looking male. "Hmm...something seems different around here." Kasai could hardly pick up their conversation with his pointed ears. "Geez, why are they being so quiet?" Kasai poked his head through the opening to listen in more. The stone he was resting himself on was cold and slippery. Kasai began to lose his grip some, but he didn't notice.

Pale was drifting off to sleep when she saw the dim outline of a figure by the window. "Jay," she said groggily "Jay, I'm so tired. Come to bed. I want to know all about your fight when I wake up..." she didn't know that Jay had actually yet to make it there, that Kasai had broken in...she stroked Illiana's hair and made herself more comfortable in bed. One more day.

Kasai froze when he heard Pale speak. She seemed tired, so Kasai had figured she had mistaken Kasai for Jay. Kasai was about lower himself outside once more, but before he did so, his hand slipped on the stone ledge, and Kasai came crashing to the floor with a long bang. Kasai sat up rubbing his head some but then an expression of shock appeared on his face once he had realized he was found out.

Pale stopped, and stared at the man. Her eyes didn't widen, she didn't pull Illiana closer to her or anything so pathetic. She was weak, but she wouldn't make a huge show of it. "Goddamnit Kasai, what are you doing back here? No, scratch that, I really don't care. Just leave me." It was tempting just to fall asleep right in front of him.

Jay returned to the house, and the first thing he heard was a loud bang. Still a little roughed up from the fight, he made his way to the sound of the crash as quickly as he could before he realized who made the sound. "Kasai...now's a bad time for a visit" He looked to his wife, who looked incredibly tired and frowned. "I'll put Illiana down for a nap, love. You just get back to bed and rest..."

"I'm surprised you actually remembered me." Kasai said with a smirk before standing up. "I don't want any trouble, I was only looking to see if maybe I could find Rayne here. It's been so long since I saw her." Kasai sighed before turning to Pale. "I'm sorry I woke your child. I must take my leave now. Farewell." He walked past Jay giving him a small nod before proceeding out through the large doors that led outside.

Pale at least had the strength to roll her eyes at his antics. It just wasn't clicking in the guy's head. If he thought that Rayne hated and had been abused so much by Pale and Jay, why would he search here for her? She'd heard that Rayne had left, was back in the women's dorms and such. She wanted to see her, but was still confined to bedrest. "Jay?'
