Kaito and Tosatsu where almost at their end of the journey. So far they didn't encounter any hostiles and Kaito was thankfull for that.
He looked at Tosatsu.......they didn't speak a word to each other, since they left Otokakure no sato.......
"What do you think could have happened to our previous Otokage-sama?" Kaito suddenly asked.

"Well, he was a wandering shinobi before he became our kage, so he may have just missed his old lifestyle. Or he became a traitorous basterd we need to take care of." He said with an angry tone. The one thing that angered him was traitors. "But the first is probably true." He said calming down.

Tosatsu cracked the tendons in his neck to relieve some of the stress that had been building up then followed his partner. This is just too much right now.

Gihen slowly stepped up the foot of the mountains.
This would be wher ehe'd train for the genin exams.
He didn't want to be a total wimp when he entered his cell.
Suddenly, Gihen froze in his tracks and sighed, staring at the ground.
"What if tht woman will be our sensei...? Well, at least she'll teach us something!"
He brightened up and looked around him.
Maybe some running would do him good?
Just as he started off, he tripped and fell on his face.

Gihen stood up again and looked ahead of him.
He felt his nose and had blood on his hand a little.
Sighing, he tried to take another step to get started.
Just as his foot hit the ground, Gihen went down to the ground again.
He sighed and stayed on the ground for a few minutes, saying he was okay to anyone that passed.
He looked up and glared at the stone in front of him.
It was that damn rock's fault every single time!

Shika made his way to the gate. His necessary items in hand or in pouch. His katana on his back. ANBU mask attached, and he was ready to make the one to two day trip to Iwa. Hopefully they would be allowed to enter without a problem. "So this is the west gate. I wonder where that beast of a gaurd is." He looked around and saw the beauty that is Konoha. Hopefully Anzu wouldn't find out, and then things would be worse. To make sure he wasn't caught he hid in the trees waiting for Nyame.

"But Nyame-sama...!" A child's protesting voice. Twelve year old Gekkani, accompanied by the puppets of her parents, was trying with a strange sort of desperation to change a certain Hyuuga Elder's mind.
Nyame however shook her head. "Come now, Kana-chan..." She gently ruffled the girl's head - a feat that would've certain cost anyone else their life. "The war is over, the village wouldn't be needing me to forge weapons."
"It's not the weapons..." Said the child quietly. How strange. Wasn't the western gate captain supposed to be both blind and death...? But thanks to the blood she had inherited from her Yubei mother, Gekkani could "see" and "hear" with that clan's famous sixth sense. Of course, the result was that she was incapable of using Byakugan with her ruined eyes (she wears a blindfold with an alternate version of the Hyuuga clan symbol outlined on it). Nevertheless, this child...she had attained for mastering an alternate form of Juuken Kempo: using the Hyuuga's ability to release chakra from all tenketsu nodes and making use of that natural gift to command more puppets than the legendary Akasuna no Sasori could...
And...all of her puppets were former shinobi. Of course, there would have been problems if the Council had allowed Gekkani to simply kill off healthy shinobi. She was allowed, however, to perserve the ones who were certain to die. Among them, unknown to the Hyuuga head of family...her husband Rasen, the former Hokage (and only one of the Hyuuga line to have held that position)...
Yet, as strange and terrifying Gekkani was to others...to Nyame, she was still a child: a pitiable child forced to grow up too soon.
"It won't take long..." Or at least Nyame had hoped. The child held up a hand. Nyame blinked in surprise. Gekkani wanted her to...? She did, curling her pinky around the child's. "I promise." That was enough for the child, and the young sentry captain hugged her. Nyame adjusted the traveling waistbag (reference: Sakura during Wave Country/Zabuza arc) before heading off into the distance.
Shikamori was waiting for her.
There was something they must do.
And an adventure to embrace.

"I will make sure that we don't take long. Gekkani-sama." He said, and then he dropped down from the tree. His ANBU hiding his face looking at the child. If anything he expected to be either assaulted or frowned upon. It stress him that this kid could destroy him if she wanted to. "Atleast Anzu isn't hear." He said to himself, and out of the range of twos hearing. "Okami we should part. The faster we move the faster we can get back." He said, and then he stretched and make sure that he wasn't going to cramp on the highly paced travel.

Nyame nodded, a silent indication of her agreement. "I told Gekkani to let him know, though. Anzu tends to stress himself out unnecessarily. Gekkani is a good actress...but he'll be the first to know it's a puppet doppelganger and not me." A pause. "Now...compasses wouldn't work in the mountains. We'll have to find north by landmark." Nyame suddenly formed the seal for Byakugan and the familiar veins of her doujutsu crept around her eyes. The hidden iris became more visible, and her vision grayed, as she carefully scanned the surroundings.
Contrary to popular belief, Hyuuga's field of vision was not limited to just 50 meters. Unlike their Uchiha counterparts, their eyes actually oddly enough get better as the years go by, instead of suffering deterioration. A decent Chuunin could see many times over the base length in radius. An Elder could observe even more. However, certainly, there was drawbacks. Byakugan may allow Nyame to focus in on any objects...but the vision when the doujutsu is activated is colourless, so that the eyes could better pick up signs of chakra.
And, since the landmark she is looking for is a cypress tree...probably in full bloom at this time of the season... A most inconvenient handicap.

Shikaenja knew his way to Iwa by ground, and by mountian. Though traveling by mountian is a bit harder, and being that Nyame has her Byakugan he could just follow her. "I will let you lead the way lo...Nyame." He said, and then stood at the outside of the gate. He was eager to make things right, and by getting the Hokage back in the village he could do so. Possible he could form a bond with Nyame, and understand her more. Even if they were former teamates still her becoming a council member has changed her.

((Dice rolls, Jacks dear. ^0^ Add Survival skill to the dice roll. But I don't think we need to roll anymore, as we got direction and safe travel down, at least not until day 2 of the travel (20th post).))

After a long moment, Nyame's quiet voice broke the silence. "Got it - this way."
The familiar lines of her doujutsu faded, and Nyame's eyes returned to normal. Smiling, she gestured for Shikaenja to follow her. "Traveling on mountain paths may be potentially hazardous. But if we're fortunate, the paths might not be blocked." She had a point, if the shortest path was blocked by the occasional avalanches, they would have to take a longer detour.
Nyame looked thoughtful. "We might run into some types of wild weasels, so we should be careful that they don't swipe our provisions." Ah. The weasels...no surprise there. Even the monkeys that lived around Konoha occasionally take the chance to raid the village for provisions. Not exactly a welcome time of the year for the villagers...and the Hokage and Council always had to be very strict on one particular rule: you may defend your home and possessions but absolutely no killing the monkeys.
Course, that didn't stop Anzu from knocking the monkey that filched his Icha Icha collection halfway across the horizon... Yep. Never mess with a Senju.
The blocked paths should be less of a problem, as with her doujutsu, Nyame would be able to check the road ahead before hand. Which was useful, they would waste less time detouring from a dead end.

"Nyame-sama about that night.....I" He said, and then quieeted himself. He didn't know how to approach the situation, and in a since he really didn't understand how she was feeling abut him. As they walked along path, and he kept his whits about him. So that there wasn't any robbery.
"How?" He said, and became silent again. Almost afriad to ask, but most unsure if he should bring the topic up. "How do you feel about me?" He said in a slight hesitant pace.
If anything this time spent with each other could discover something new about each other.

Lolz, I know. Supposedly, all of the guild's characters communicates using Japanese. Hence, the honorifics.
The funny part is that not all the characters are Japanese though. Senju=Indian, Fubuki=Chinese))
The way Hyuugas held themselves were a lot like royalty, fitting as it was considering their noble status. So, they moved with a certain floating, unnatural grace. However...Nyame...she almost tripped over a rather abnormally sized rock (that she normally would've noticed without even looking) when Shikaenja called her '-sama'. Since when did the Nara started using that, her Council of Elders honorific? Anzu and Shika, even long after the others have mended direct address to her, kept to their old childhood nickname for their teammate: May-chiisai-hime (little princess), though as time had passed, the chiisai was dropped.
"That was dangerous..." She muttered, having caught her balance after almost tripping over that priorly mentioned rock. She gave the Nara a weird look, a perfect eyebrow arched. "...don't call me that." A light pause, and her expression changed, to one of nervous laughter. "It's just like with those who persist addressing me as Hyuuga-sama...which I then try to explain either I can't figure who they're talking to or that only Yokou-sama should be with that title." By that, she had meant the Hyuuga council. Well, they all do share the same surname. And true, the head of family really should be the only surname address. But to the children of her sect: especially to Irihi, Nyame was 'onee-sama'. However...with her teammates...
"And with you and Anzu..." Nyame tried to find the right words. "It's just...weird. So don't." Famously, Nyame booted Anzu from her shop the last time he tried as a joke. Her teammates...they hold a special pedestal in her heart. However, with Shikaenja's next question, her pale cheeks flushed and Nyame turned around promptly. Ah...that demureness which complemented so well with the beauty of Hyuuga women... However, Nyame wasn't the timid sort. And smiling, she turned, extending a hand to Shika following.
"What I say is technically treachery...so don't tell them, all right?" But treachery to what? "I will give up the world for you. If the Hyuuga name is the burden, I'll cast it away. If Konoha is the binder, I'll break the chains..." She...did she honestly meant it? Willing to give up her clan name and rank...which most likely would be the probable scenario...
But one thing was famously known. Hyuugas never lie. Sometimes, they may choose to encrypt or speak in riddles but always the truth would be there. However, Nyame neither encrypted a hidden meaning nor did she spoke in riddles. Her words were plain enough.

As they walk the Nara listened, and didn't know such use of that honorific was bad. Well not bad just Nyame didn't like being called that. He understood, and wouldn't call her that. Her almost tripping over the rock was quite entertaining. He didn't think that was possible until now. "You ok?" He said during the moment of silence. He noticed that her attitude had changed when he called her sama. His eyes gave a puzzled look behind the mask as he looked at her. She had turned around, ad was walking backwards.
She had extended her hand tto him, and in an instant he had filled her hands emptyness withhis hand. Her next words gave him an even more puzzled look. "What I say is technically treachery...so don't tell them, all right?" He was going to respond but she beat him to it. "I will give up the world for you. If the Hyuuga name is the burden, I'll cast it away. If Konoha is the binder, I'll break the chains..." She said to him, and his since of any ninja life style snapped. In an instant he embraced her. Holding her close hugging her tight. Just those words set him on fire.
He wanted to run away from the ninja life, and start a new one with her. At this very moment. "May-chiisai-hime." He said. "I would throw this life away just to start a new one with." He didn't know exactly what to say her answer had left him wordless, and that was all he could say.
