As Takeshi swung his blade to intercept Ariel's third strike, her sword suddenly vanished in a flash of light. At the same time another sword flashed into existence in her other hand. She leaned back and swung the sword upwards in a vertical line trying to slash Takeshi straight up the middle. Although she seemed soft she definitely wasn't holding back. She still had a slight smile on her face but it wasn't one of aggression or intimidation. She genuinely seemed to be enjoying the moment. "Those deflections were great!" She commended while leaning backwards and just before she swung. "Try to dodge this! It's a little tougher!"

The swords can also be used defensively to block enemy attacks. They cannot pass through Weapons but can block them.

➟ Takeshi was glad that he was faring all with Nemo so far. "Aw it wasn't that good. Now you are the one that definitely has some talent!" The meister responded to Ariel's upward slash by blocking it. As her blade of light was moving upward he moved back, one leg after the other. His left hand was pushing the flat side of the weapon while his right was still holding the handle. Ariel's attack was strong but it wasn't enough to push the whole meister's body back. It was however enough to make Takeshi flinch, fearing that he was going to be hit by the ray. "Why don't you try going on the offensive?" The meister thought about that but was hesitant to do so. Right now he was using a demon weapon, not a toy. If he tried to fight back then he feared he might hurt Ariel. Then again the whole point of fighting Ariel was so he could get some experience in. And it wasn't like Ariel was just going to let herself get hurt. "Not yet Nemo." The demon weapon sighed. Fine, but don't blame me when you get knocked out.

Ariel didn't seem to have a problem attacking. "Thanks!" She replied brightly. "Sorry, but I can't let you hide behind your defense all day! You won't learn anything that way." She let go of the light sword as soon as it sparked off of Takeshi's blade causing it to instantly vanish. In the same smooth motion she swung her other arm low towards Takeshi's legs. Another Valkyrie sword appeared in her hand as she swung. She attempted to slash Takeshi directly across the front of his thighs to slow him down. Whether or not the attack landed the sword would vanish again and just as quickly another one would appear in the hand she originally held it. She brought the blade down in a vertical slice towards Takeshi's shoulder. "Tell me if I'm going to fast!" She said in between swings.

➟ The meister pushed forward doing his best to block Ariel's attacks, but then her weapon disappeared. "You are right, both you and Nemo. If I constantly keep my guard up then it'll get me no where." Takeshi wasn't prepared for a blow to his thighs so he was vulnerable to that attack. The damage made Takeshi cringe, but with another attack coming in he had to think fast. Using Nemo he held the blade out in front of him to block her shoulder strike. After the first attack Nemo felt a lot heavier. Whatever those beams of light were they seemed effective. If Takeshi clashed with Ariel then he would attempt to overpower her with his weapon and then attempt to land a horizontal attack across her chest. Meanwhile Nemo was just about to take note of what Ariel had done. Something went wrong and the demon weapon immediately snapped back to reality. "Takeshi, your wavelength! Do something about your wavelength!" The meister sounded surprised to hear from his partner. "My wavelength?" He heard Nemo but forgot about what to do in the situation. Having to think back on what he had heard in class, Takeshi would try to keep a level head as the battle played out.

Ariel shot backwards in a burst of bright white feathers as Takeshi finally went on the offensive, narrowly missing his attack. The feathers faded from view just as quickly as they had arrived and Ariel stood a few yards a way, still smiling. She stopped, holding her sword as she saw that Takeshi was hesitating. "Take your time," she told him in a friendly tone as she held her sword in a defensive position. "Sometimes it's hard to think when attacks are going off everywhere. My friend Carmen kept knocking me on my bum until she realized she needed to slow down a little before I could think fast enough to keep up. It just takes time."

➟ The meister agreed. It was hard to keep up with Ariel, but if he admit that then he would get embarrassed. Of course if it got too bad then he'd say something, but he was just reluctant to ask for the attacks to be toned down. The meister looked impressed as Ariel got away from the fight so quickly. That seemed really helpful. If Takeshi could only use his magic for combative purposes the way he wanted to then he wouldn't be having such a hard time, but if he did that then there really wouldn't be a need for him to become a meister. "You have a friend that kept knocking you down? Me too! How funny is that? It seems like we both have people we could rely on to help us grow stronger, even if it does mean hurting us." He laughed and joked while Nemo remained unamused. "You should be fighting, not fraternizing!" Takeshi jumped after Nemo screamed, chastising the boy. "R-Right... Well, let's go then!" The meister ran towards Ariel aiming to cut across her body diagonally with Nemo. Due to Nemo being a weapon that requires two hands it wouldn't be possible for Takeshi to cast any spells that may help.

Ariel giggled again. "I'm sure our friends would like each other then!" She replied. She jumped when she heard Nemo yell too. "It's okay, it's okay!" She said quickly, holding up her hands. "It's important to remain calm while training. If you stress yourself out you'll be too busy trying to calm down to learn anything." She quickly raised her blade into a blocking position as Takeshi attacked. Unfortunately for her, she had underestimated just how strong one of Takeshi's two-handed strikes was. It smashed right through her sword causing it to vanish in a burst of light as if he had destroyed some kind of forcefield. She shot backwards again in an explosion of feathers and for a second it looked like she had managed to dodge Takeshi's attack. But then a thin spurt of blood shot out of her upper left shoulder, staining the ground in front of her crimson. "Oh wow! Stronger than I thought!" She said, sounding genuinely impressed as she briefly touched the spot where Takeshi had wounded her. "Should we up the ante then?" She asked, holding both her arms straight out as two swords flashed into existence.

just to go over it again, because its happened to the last three fights ive done in here[doesnt matter if you dont intend to or not] but remember your character is not able to dodge everything and is not able to take hits constantly without concequences of taking hits

Kira Akatsuki Assassin _____________________________________________________ the assassin walked out from her side, remaining silent, her eyes staring at the opposing door as if she was already focused, unlike most of the humans in the arena she worked with she was by far the most serious and silent of the group of members. her Gunblades resided in their holsters her arms just hanging down her body in wait for her target to arrive at the arena for her to either kill if not just defeat if told to stop.

It had simply been too long since Xuza had any good training. Fighting Mina was a great workout, but there was something in danger which turned a training partner into a mirror reflection, if you will, which always made you tighten up and improve... Of die. Xuza didn't quite think it so extreme, but she did need something. So, the Special arena!
Coming out of the challenger side, she had with her her two favorite types of swords: a rapier and a cutlass. She noticed the young-looking champion in the middle was packing as well, but with the addition of gun barrels. She thought immediately of how to stay away from them.
I asked for an above average opponent... I hope that's not too ambitious of me. Oh well, can't know until you try.
"Hi, I'm Xuza!" She said cheerfully was she approached the middle of the arena. "You're my opponent today, I assume? Good luck! Let's have a good match." She smiled warmly and got into her fencing stance, holding her rapier out front and her cutlass high overhead like a scorpion's tail.

Xuza Uriel Vs. Kira Akatsuki.
Kira Akatsuki Assassin _____________________________________________________ the girl just stared at her while she talked her eyes focused on her now, the moment she finished talking the eyes of the assassin went straight to her rapier that she held. her hands went to her guns taking them out of their holsters and spinning them around using the trigger skeleton to do so, she would stop spinning them when they spun around 3 times each. the opponent was using two different swords, meaning had a combination of two styles into one, that she figured, but that would also give the assassin an advantage as switching styles can be hard when in a fight. the simplest thing the assassin did was point a gun at her and fire a air bullet at her, one that would not pierce her but rather hit her and cause pain and bruise the area if not push back. she did this three times, one at the head and two at her shoulders, the first shot was to see if she could end it quickly by just knocking her out.

What is she doing? I guess that's kind of impressive. Not much a talker tho--AGH! Xuza was only able to react to one bullet. By luck her reflexes moved her sword to a spot in which they could block the bullet. The bullet aimed at her head bounced off her blade and caught her cheek, taking some skin with it due to the angle and velocity. The other two air bullets hit their marks and caused Xuza to cry out. She instinctively dove through a pathway without having the time to set up a destination. Anywhere but where she was right now would do as she assumed the assassin would continue the assault.
Appearing on the opposite side, about 50yds away, Xuza turned to face her opponent again. He bruised shoulders wouldn't quit as she gripped her swords' handles tighter.
"That's a fine hello!" She said with some sass. "I guess it's my turn!" The weapon tech brandished her wings and took off running toward Kira A couple steps in and she would be transported via her curious conversion a few feet away from the assassin. Bridging the gap seemed like a good idea against a gun wielder. Especially since the blades on Kira's knives were considerably shorter than Xuza's rapier. If she kept the pressure up, she could really do some damage. Xuza whipped and slashed with her rapier aiming to back Kira down while making cuts to the assassin's arms and midsection.

Kira Akatsuki Assassin _____________________________________________________ Kira would seem calm despite the opponent disappearing and gaining distance that just made it more interesting for her, she would turn and face the girl spinning her guns again she would just watch as the girl came at her only to appear a few feet away, which was enough for the assassin to prepare herself, she took a step back gaining abit more time then if standing still. she used her guns glades to block most of them she was good at using her knifes mainly because she added them to the guns for the exact reason, defense and close combat. whilst the girl kept attacking the assassin kept her emotionless expression on her face, her mouth covered by her clothing's collar. though of course the assassin was not mased in physical contact or in fact she was mainly trained to be in and out of places killing she still was not the best in the area, which is why she was given such a small rank unlike the higher ups whom are impossible to beat or so hard they require a team to beat. if it came down to what she was good at she'd be higher up, but since the only experience with one on one fights was in the arena she still was not good at fighting without the art of suprises, but she did have some good tricks up her sleeve to counter act these circumstances. so the girls attacks would start to get her after a few strikes but soon the girl would vibrate(kind of like a rapid left and right movement with a see through effect. when she did this she disappeared appearing above the girl spinning as she would come down to strike her with the sword, but regardless of what the girl did the assassin would remain as she finished(if blocked still in a clash/if dodged landed on the ground staring at her) but another version would appear behind the girl pointing her gun at her firing it, and right after she fired another version came at her, but this time she came from the shooting one as if she duplicated, this one came at her slashing horizontally, (basically when the third one appeared the first one disappears and after the third ones attack the second disappears/she can do this 5 times at most but since its early she only does it 3 or less)

Yes! It was working. Xuza's pressure was doing just as planned. It looked like the blades of her guns, while intimidating, were a sort of patch up to one of her weaker aspects of fighting. A smirk started to appear on the winged one's face as she started to land some hits: folly; the assassin had more tricks than just shoot and stab, as she should (it's a girl, right?), and caught Xuza by surprise with an illusory move.
"Whoa!" Xuza's last swipe went right through her and cause the winged one surprise, but because she wasn't thrusting didn't push her off balance. Call it intuition, but Xuza was able to detect Kira from above in time to block with her cutlass, which she held back to take some of the bite out of omnidirectional attack patterns. As she was turned sideways dealing with the above attack a copy of Kira shot and hit Xuza in the side with an air bullet. It stunned her and made her slow to react to the next copy's attack. This time Xuza couldn't get her guard up proper, and with all the momentum and stoutness of the shorter blade Kira's attack knocked Xuza's rapier out of the way. She was exposed, but Xuza took a gamble and went to slam her cutlass, a much more powerfully built sword down overhead. If Kira didn't retreat she would have to think of something to get past the crushing blow.
