"hmm.." he muttered as he watched Leo leave them.
I hope we won't be stuck here for long...
Alpha waited for the man named Zed to finish uncuffing Rene, but also to make sure Carpo was out of ear shot. He needed to talk to one of these guys to try and get their help. When he finished, he only have a quick look to Rene in hopes he'd continue speaking with Pan. "You're hands look cold, Rene.." Pan giggled quietly so Rene wouldn't worry about the missing word. Alpha sighed and stepped forward to the guard with the keys.
"Hey. Can I speak with you for a minute? " Alpha asked. Pan only glanced over to him as Rene now had free movements of his wrists.

"Oh... I.... yes a little bit. We didn't get hit by the snow in the back, but it was very..... chilly," he said as he looked down to them, flipping them over a few times to make sure it was nothing serious. No black.. and he could feel everything, so that was good.. "Do you think there is a fire here..... Like I mean in a um.... place? pit thing......," he said with a flustered look upon his face as he started to realize just how off his English could be at times... "I'm really sorry. I just uh.. forget the words sometimes.. you know?" -- Zed was just about to turn to exit the room when he heard Alpha speak up. "Uh sure.... What about," the man asked, deciding to use this opportunity to remove his boots and gloves... [[sorry this is really short]]

kawaiihogoshatenshi its ok, mine wasn't much to work with ^^! How have you been?
Alpha kept his voice down. " well.. You can probably tell just how nerve wracking this all can be..." He started awkwardly, "but I appreciate you being kind enough to keep Carpo safe. He's worked with us for awhile..." He gave a small smile, though it quickly faded as he got started the conversation in a serious. "Now, I know what you just saw, but make no mistake that Pan is actually the deadliest thing in this room right now..". Alpha needed to something he could actually prove. Pan was the only thing he had. But that didn't mean he'd want to make Pan go beserk, he just knew Carpo would probably have his head for bringing this up after he pleaded against it.
" I know it seems hard to believe, given his demeanor as of now, but we have proof to believe that our government was going to build an army of soldiers like him to use against the neighboring cities"
Alpha managed to whisper this in a quiet enough tone, so Pan couldn't hear. If Rene heard, well usually the Frenchman was on his side anyway. Alpha just needed to get these guys in action.

Pan slipped his gloves off and started to look around the room. He saw what may be a fire pit it just had no fire. " Is this was you mean? A fireplace?" He asked. There was another contraption near by too. It looked sturdy with long parallel bars, about six of them bolted together against the wall. Pan placed his palm on it and yanked right back, his hand only slightly burned, "ow... Rene, look at this thing~" He smiled and waved him over. "It's hot.." He told the blonde.

"Course. We know how this government can treat it's citizens sometimes.... so we try try to make up for their mistreatment when we can," he said with a bright smile and an appearance of pride. He was glad to help who he could in this nation and happy to be recognized for his efforts. He seemed tempted to talk more on it for a moment..... Maybe even ask if there was anything else they needed help with. Before he could though, Alpha's voice got really low and his demeanor much more serious Raising a brow as Alpha went on, he seemed skeptical of his statement. Nonetheless, he listened closely and at least considered the idea for a few moments before kind of chuckling and shaking his head. "Haha very funny, man. If Pan was so dangerous, why would they let him be a doctor of all things? Or lock him up in San Espoir? It doesn't make any sense.... Nah... Nah man. He's a good guy. Real even tempered...," he said as he glanced over to Pan, taking in his appearance. It didn't make sense that someone so fragile looking could be dangerous. Not to mention, if he was really as dangerous as Alpha said, then Shen would probably be alive still...... --- "Mmmm. yes... That.. except you know.... with fire," he said before starting to look around it in search of some matches. There didn't seem to be any though, nor was there any wood for that matter.... Weird... Looking over as Pan called him, he walked over to the odd device and looked it over before putting his close near it. He could feel the heat radiate off of it and it felt.... wonderful. Sitting down in front of it, like one would a fire, he looked up to Pan and patted the ground beside him.. Once Pan was seated, he moved his hands back near the device, letting the nice heat seep into his bones. "So, how do you know these people," he asked curiously.

Pan sat comfortably next to the blonde and also warmed his hands at a close enough distance to wear his hands could feel the intense warmth coming from the supposed heater. But Rene's question threw him off a bit. It was obvious that Rene must've been curious, but he felt off about the question.
"mm... Well actually, they knew me.. I took my helmet off and they recognized me..from.." Pan quieted his voice and sort of huddled his head to his knees. "a very old friend..... I don't know.. it's hard to explain... I still have so many questions for them"

Alpha just gave a grin and shrugged his shoulders. Of course this guy wasn't going to believe him. He needed proof. Of course to actually try and pry Pan's other side out was a fool's wish. He wouldn't do that. Either they could ask Pan and let the confusing awkwardness ensue for the doctor, or they could show the proof that Carpo had.
"I'm not saying that Pan is a bad kid... but if you really wonder, why exactly did they lock him up? If he was so innocent, why not court him back in their society..." Alpha leaned against the wall behind him.
" We do have proof. The red head has it. Just ask him for it when he comes back. If you have questions now, you could just ask him.. Pan already failed once at lyin' to you guys, he won't start now. Just know we won't forgive you if you make him cry in front of us~" he told, not knowing that Pan has already cried in front of the guards.

Blinking some at Pan's words, he looked over to him with concern clear on his face. He didn't know what had happened to this old friend of his, but he could tell that it was likely something serious. It was clear in his tone of voice and his hunched posture... Seeing him like this, well, it remember him of his granny..... "Is okay Pan....I am sure you will get all of thee answers you are looking for," he said with a reassuring smile as he placed a hand on his shoulder... --- Zed frowned at his words and looked over to Pan. He still didn't really believe him, but he brought up a good point. Why would they have locked away Pan in Sans Espoir of all places? There were plenty of rehabilitation centers around the country that would've been better suited for someone like Pan, but hadn't sent him to any of those.... He always assumed it was because they were just looking to bury the truth, but what if it was for something else..... Staring at Pan for a few moments longer, he pondered his options before looking back to Alpha. "I'm not going to bother Pan over something like this without proof Shen would turn in his grave if he knew we did that... But, if you say that guy in the cell has proof, I can talk to him.... You think you can keep him under control while I ask? The last thing I need is for him to try and strangle me too....." Assuming Alpha agreed, he walked with the rebel leader over to where they were leading Carpo. He was in a room with nothing in it, cuffs still on his wrists as a precaution.. He looked distraught, a bit of redness under his eyes hinting that he had likely cried at least once or twice during the hour in which he'd been held there.... Upon seeing Alpha with the guard, he frowned softly, uncertain why they would ask him to come with..... He watched quietly from his seat on the floor as both of them entered and bit his lip some as he looked from Zed to Alpha, as if asking what was going on.

kawaiihogoshatenshi I've really missed this Rp. I think we're getting back in the swing of it because we know what we're doing with the story.... yes?
Pan smiled at Rene's comforting gesture. It was all the man could offer and Pan was happy to accept the kind act. So the silence afterward was reassuring to know Pan wasn't alone as they warmed up by the odd heater.
Soon though a different thought lit up in Pan's mind. If anyone was to give answers, would be Rene. Pan couldn't remember his story or how he joined Alpha's rebellion. So, if he wasn't going to get all the answers from the ones who knew Shen the most, then he clear some of his curiosities with the most mysterious man there!
"Rene, I don't remember if we all discussed it... but where did you say you came from?" he asked, not knowing that the blonde was reminiscing of the painful events they recently went through. Alpha and Zed had walked away

Alpha was a bit surprised from how fast Zed was ready to interrogate Carpo, but Alpha was ready and followed close behind. Not only would he do his best to get the answers they needed, but he'd be able to protect Carpo if Zed was to be violent to the red head.
"Hey." he started and stepped ahead in first. "Carpo, we're just here for the proof... " he locked eyes with Carpo. Sure he knew just how much Carpo was against the idea, but THIS was their chance! They had access to another form of government and needed to exploit theirs now! The time for saving everyone was at hand, and Alpha hoped that Carpo wouldn't be selfish. Carpo wasn't one for intimidation, but Alpha knew how important their cause was. His feelings for Pan would just have to be set aside... and despite that thinking, If the tables were turned, Alpha wasn't sure if he would behave the way Carpo does if Rene was in danger.
"We just want to talk..."
The man hoped this guard had a pen and paper on him.

TenTenPrincess23 yeah! I've missed it too and I'm super excited that we've got it back up and running. I'm sorry I've been so slow but that shouldn't be a problem anymore. I've got a much better idea where to take this now Phasing out of his solemn memories, the blonde slowly turned his head to look at Pan before tilting his head to the side.. He seemed confused by the question for a few momentS, but gradually the question clicked into place and unlocked the answers. His lips formed a small 'o' as it occurred to him that he had never revealed his past to Pan and he let out a small chuckle. "Well, I come from the same country as you, just... mmm.. different. When my granny was younger, we did not have test tube births or um cameras that watched you or um prisons for smiling too much. Things were very different. People could do what they wanted and stuff....My parents got married shortly before it started to change and umm... they didn't like it much, so they ran away with my grandma into the non-city abandoned parts... They had me when they were very old... and ran away when they were very young. Even then... it is amazing how many things have changed since then...," he said, his French accent slowing him down a bit as he struggled to find the right words.. As he drew that bit to an end, he frowned some and crinkled his nose... "I grew up in the not city by the trees and such in a cabin..." --- Carpo frowned at Alpha's words, not much liking how Alpha had gone behind his back. Sure, having them ask about it and the codes was better than showing them BT, but he still didn't like it much. "I don't have the proof...," he said as he looked to Aloha then to Zed," it's on the computer... and I'm not giving them the access or the code until you promise me that you won't let them chain up Pan once they find out... "Oh, I can promise that. We don't want to hurt P-," Zed started to say, only for Carpo to interrupt. "I don't want you to promise... I want to hear it from Aloha..."

Pan was listening intently to Rene's story. The not city? How? They.. ran away? Rene was a marvel to behold. Though his sentences seemed jumbled and mixed, Pan got the basic idea. There was an abandoned part of the city. And Rene was born there. So ... was Rene the most normal being among them? Perhaps not including the guards, but the small quad group. Rene was the very example of someone not influenced by governing power... right? But there was one posing question.
"But... you lived with your grandmother at the rebellion base, didn't you? What happened to... your... uhm." Pan stopped himself.. " well never mind... " he tried to move on as he figured that the question would hurt Rene. "I'm glad you're my friend, Rene. And I'm sorry... that you've been dragged into all this... " he muttered.

Alpha frowned and couldn't look Carpo in the eyes when he glared at him like that. He sighed. Of course he wouldn't let Pan get locked up. "I promise I'll protect Pan." he had to turn and face Carpo as he said those words. Of course he wouldn't let Pan get locked up... but looking at Carpo stung. Still... he hoped Carpo could understand why he was doing this.

TenTenPrincess23 sorry this is kind of crap Rene frowned as Pan started his next question, already knowing what he wanted to ask before he had even finished. Before Pan uttered it though, he thought better of it and stopped, causing Rene to smile softly. He would tell him about his parents.... someday, but he was glad Pan had decided to hold off on it for now. He was so kind... "I am glad you are my friend too... and you do not need to apologize to me," he said as he took Pan's hand and gave it a light squeeze. "I joined the rebellion a long time ago.... and you are hardly the worst thing that has happened to it. If anything... I am sorry that you got dragged into all this..." ---- Carpo looked at Alpha for a bit longer, as if processing his words before nodding. "Alright.... I need a computer and a printer..... If I access the files again, they are probably going to move them to a different location... So we are going to want to get it in print.... What does your computer's defense system look like?" "I wha- Wait wait what are you going on about?" "I need to hack into their system.... And I want to make sure they can't track the hacking back to you..." "Uh.. okay... I umm. I'll lead you to a computer.... but if we get caught with this.... I'm telling the government it was you...." "Understood...," Carpo said before following his lead down the hall and to a computer. Sitting down, he started look over their specs and making adjustments.. "Alpha could you fill him in on what I've told you so far about the documents I saw..."

kawaiihogoshatenshi I hope this gives you something better to work with.
Pan took solace in the fact that Rene was glad he didn't ask about your parents. But the rebellion.. the mention of it reminded him of Kravos and the others. Why was the rebellion created again? To overthrow this tyrant of a government right? ... the government that made him.
Rene's hand was a bit colder than his own, so when he touched it, it snapped him back into reality. "Thank you, and even so.... well..." Pan's hands squeezed back in return, but he released the blonde's grasp. He flopped onto his back and looked up at the ceiling, his hands folding over each other on his chest.
"Lately.. with the more I learn about myself... the more I wonder if I was dragged... or am I dragging every one with me?"
He still barely remembered anything from the recent events of when he was TR, but he just knew that something happened. Some snibbits with the wolves and Rene, but nothing else. Especially of what TR said to Carpo. Pan didn't even realize some things that happened that perhaps Carpo didn't tell him.

Alpha sighed and followed the two out of the room into another room with a computer on it. Now was their only shot.
"I tried to give a basic gist, but he seemed to not believe me. " Alpha gave a light chuckle, but he carried himself so over to the perplexed guard.
"Now its like I said, you have to wonder why Pan was put in prison. If you don't know already about our government's strict reproduction laws, every citizen is created and raise in beakers and incubators, myself included With the exception of Carpo, every citizen is generally made in a lab. Procreation is forbidden. But Pan is very different. He may have been created in a lab but, from what we believe, he was actually created to be a weapon. Pan's other side comes out and he's invincible, bullets seem to go right through him and he heals relatively fast.... I wonder if you have a flash drive "
Alpha ran off of just what they saw. He didn't really want to say just how terrifying Pan could get, or else these guards would find the albino as a threat.
As Carpo began to dig again, the files about Pan were scattered. Some of the things were still there, like records and new video footage, but it seemed as though someone had gone through to look for files and start deleting them. The newest video file was from just a month or so ago... just before Pan was sent to prison.

I've been busy with work, cosplay and school work sweatdrop ] While Pan flopped back onto the ground, Rene stayed sitting, moving his fingers closer to the heater. Turning them over a few times, he pondered Pans words. He assumed Pan now knew about TR, but he didn't remember Carpo ever having mentioned his existence to Pan.... Did that mean he was remembering on his own.... or did he think it was his fault for some other reason.....? "Mmm... I think it's a bit of both. We got you involved with the rebellion and you got us involved with the government.... Both groups have.... issues. But... I don't know. Maybe..," his voice trailed off as a loud noise emanated from his stomach, causing him to look down. They still hadn't eaten.... His previous attempts to gather food were foiled by TR and the wolves.... "I'm hungry.... do you think they have a kitchen here?" ---- Zed seemed intrigued yet skeptical as he listened to Alpha speak. "So what like wolverine or something," the man asked, only to quickly realize that neither of them would actually understand that reference. "I mean like uh... never mind..,, I'm pretty sure that stuff is impossible man,.. People aren't made like that..." As he spoke, he walked over to one of the desks and grabbed a flash drive. Once the red device entered his sights, he quickly swiped it away and stuck it into the drive without so much as a thank you. He then quickly began sorting through the videos and documents, grabbing whatever he could for later review. Then there was a new file.... A body cam on a police officer. It showed Pan holding Shen in his arms, tears running down his face.... Carpo didn't recognize the scene and went to file it away, only for Zed to physically restrain him by grabbing his hand.... And so they watched, Zed looking upset at the sight of his dead friend.... Then suddenly something seemed to click in Pan. Noticing the telltale signs that Pan was shifting into TR, Carpo quickly ripped his hand back and clicked a new file, not wanting him to see the monster Pan could become. The next video was no better though.... It was from the prison... a few days prior.... The camera was at an odd angle, likely from a soldiers visor.... TR was on top of him. He was covered in the blood of the men and women whose bodies lay scattered around them.... Carpo was playing brave, but his nude body shivered from the fear and cold..... Zed stared, now holding Carlos hand even tighter as he forced him to play the full video..... "We... we need to lock him up or-or something. No way am I ending up like them or Shen," the man stuttered out in fear, as he rushed for the door.... Well, so much for just giving them the documents and using that as proof...,

Pan smiled. That answer seemed so like Rene. But he sat up as the man pondered about food. He too was growing a bit famished and pondered about a kitchen. "I wonder... lets see if we can go find one.. Surely we wouldn't get in trouble for exploring around a little.."

Alpha frowned at the development that unfolded in front of him. The group had now become Poor Timing's victim yet again it seemed. Though, Alpha didn't want Pan to be locked up just as much as Carpo, it seemed as Zed's sudden turn for the worst. Alpha reached to grab the man by his arm and clutched tightly.
"So now, you can see..." Alpha had the idea to appeal to the view of the guard. Though Alpha didn't want to lie to Zed, perhaps over-exaggerating would help..
" Now we have proof that our government is crazy. You see? Why on earth would they make something like Pan unless to only use him as a weapon... And the monster you see on that screen could just be a taste of whats there! There may be others....." Alpha spoke strongly with that assumption in hopes the man would be willing to listen.
Squeezing tighter on the Zed's arm, he pulled himself to stand between him and his way out. "Now.. If you're willing to listen, I'd like to remind you, however, that you promised you wouldn't do anything to Pan! "Alpha's eyes were steely and glaring. "So as long as that promise is fulfilled, I can promise you that Pan won't end up like what you just saw and you will be perfectly fine....As long as he doesn't feel threatened, No one will have anything to worry about ..." he warned with a reassuring but cunningly bittersweet grin. Perhaps Carpo wouldn't like his wordings but, to Alpha, it seemed like the only option.
"We didn't come this far to have our only source of a message to be ruined by those too afraid to use their head.."

And so the blonde and the albino began to wander the complex. As they walked, they passed plenty of rooms: a bathroom, study, library, and gym. All of them sat empty, but looked well-used, which made Rene wonder if this place was frequented by more than just the three they had met today. The thought worried him... After all, what if the others were quite as understanding as the ones they had already met?
Rene began fidgiting nervously with the cuffs on his shirt as he thought on it. Before he could get too worked up by it though, they came across the kitchen.... And it was.... Well, it was just marvelous.... There were so many counter tops and cupboards... as well as a vast number of appliances...
Wandering in, he scanned it all over before anxiously looking to Pan. "Do you think they will be mad if I touch these?"

Zed jumped as he was grabbed and turned to look at Alpha with a wary look on his face. He had seen what Carpo was capable of earlier and quickly became nervous about his impending fate. After all, he had basically jut trapped himself in a small room with two people with questionable backgrounds. And he honestly wasn't sure if he could win a fight against both of them, even with his gun in hand....
Swallowing hard, he listened quietly as Alpha explained the situation and slowly nodded. "O-Okay.... I.... We won't lock him up.... Just.... what am I supposed to tell my boss huh? She's going to see that.... And she'll probably agree to tell our government, but if she doesn't kill Pan.... Our government certainly might try..... They'll try to help with your situation, yeah.... But they'll also want to get rid of those super soldiers......," he said, only to jump as Carpo stood up," I mean.... unless you can prove that they'll be willing to fight for us....."

Pan stayed close by as they looked around the kitchen. The refridgerator they had up against the wall looked high tech. So high tech that the doors opened on their own just as Pan placed his hand on it to find the door. Panicked for a moment, he froze in place as he saw just what was in the fridge. It wasn't packed full of food, but mostly vegetables, fruit, broth and a whole uncooked chicken.
" Maybe .. everyone is hungry... " he spoke up as he looked between Rene and the chicken. "I'm sure they wouldn't mind so long as we make enough food for everyone... " he smiled with good intentions. Though he wasn't really aware of food probably belonging to different members of this patrol team. Pan pulled out the frozen chicken, "If you know what you'd want to make, I'll do my best to help. I like watching you cook since you seem more relaxed doing it, but I want to help" he smiled brightly. Pan wondered if Rene would like to cook when he was stressed or upset, perhaps it was a sort of a way to help him feel better. So if they could cook something to make Rene feel good, then Pan would take the responsibility, as long as Rene wanted to, that is.

Alpha sighed in relief and slowly let go of Zed's arm. "Please don't tell anything just yet. I ask you right now to be patient until we have all the information in our hands" his eyes still steely but firm. " I will take responsibility should your boss have concerns, but let me talk to your boss about this when the time comes... " Alpha proposed. "And Pan will cooperate if you need him to, so long as he isn't threatened... Besides, I think Pan trusts you lot.. you especially ... maybe.." He said walking back, Carpo probably hearing that. Alpha just meant that Pan was pretty gullible, but if it upset the red-head, he certainly didn't mean it.
"Now I have one question for you though, " he asked as he gestured Zed back to Carpo and the computer. " Play that video again.." he told Carpo, inferring to the first video with Pan in tears with the dead guard in his arms. When the scene with Shen in Pan's arms, Alpha asked for the video to be paused and then he pointed at the screen. " Do you know who this man is?" he asked curiously. He saw how Zed looked when he initially saw the video, it seemed like someone he could've known. If he didn't know him, then they were probably going to have to ask Pan directly.
