Hal smiled a bit and watched. Let Momo get better faster, having him do things on his own would help him emotionally, so then he would get better faster physically. "You've eaten a lot. Your stomach is small right now since you didn't eat, but just you wait. Soon it'll grow to where you can eat an entire bowl." and set it aside, tucking Momo back in, jumping.

"Malcom is fine. Malcom has been hanging out with other children here along with Cujo." He rubbed his shoulder, gently setting him back down. "He visited a few times while you were out to check on you. Should I go get him?"

"No! No! Momo he's fine. I saw him yesterday. Not a bruise, not a scratch, not anything." He didn't know what to do, seeing him hyperventilate. "I'm sorry.' and pressed his hand to the man's mind, sending a small jolt of electricity just to shock him out of his harsh breathing.

"Momo is fine. He'll probably visit again today. Cujo is literally always with him so you know he will protect him." That hound was doing what Hal himself was unable to do.

"I'm positive. No harm has come to him." he said with a small smile, strong his friend's face. "I swear to you on my life, no harm has come to Malcom, Monoki. Malcom's Hal is doing what I was unable to do." He let go finally, shaking his head. "I'm sorry. Shocking you could have damaged your internal functions."

"As an android I'm meant to read body languages and cues. I could have known had i gone deeper, like listening to your heartbeat or how high your body temperature was." The android shook his head. "You are incredibly special, Monoki, and you're incredibly normal. They were simply," he grasped for words, "bad circumstances. Situations. I have never seen you differently." Hal lifted the blankets, tucking in his friend, "We are friends, Momo, I would never think any different of you."

Hal gave a small smile, holdin the hand and rubbing the back of it with his free hand. Hearing Mama made him jump and let go, looking back at her. He could understand why the men avoided this woman like the plague. And the android had forgotten it was only a couple of drapes separating them from everyone else in the room.

"Y-Yes ma'am, Mama." He said, "I'm working on that. Slowly."

Hal would have to help Momo move his arm slowly from now on. She did it for only a few seconds, so he would have to start helping him do that too. Just maybe a few times a day, three, four.

"Pardon? You would like us to stay?" That was such a kind and generous offer, especially when things could be bad for them. With this area there were no doubt ways for Hal to get some parts for himself, and they were close to a city where they could do more part hunting. From the looks of it so far no one wanted to harm Momo, this was a small utopia all to themselves.

But...

"I'm afraid I cannot make that decision. While my answer would be most logical for my friend in terms of survival, it is up to him whether or not he wants to stay here."

They also had a child to take care of. Glancing at Momo he made a small look of concern. If they traveled, they couldn't bring Malcom with them.

"For survival purposes, yes." he said, speaking softly so others wouldn't hear them. He moved onto the bed to sit beside his friend, on his good side, so he could continue speaking quietly, just enough for Momo's ears to reach. "They have this medical bay, they have managed to grow their own crops, there are healthy children, healthy adults and young adults. It is their sense of community. I have yet to see how the sort of, government system, here works but I imagine it cannot be too bad, a democracy." But it was an assumption of course.

"If you wanted to stop and stay here it would be adequate. I have knowledge on everything, and you could help others build needed machinery and equipment. There are some things I do not know, hoever. How many people are here, both elderly and young, what is the average size of the food that grows, what is the average intake of people.' he sighed. "From what I understand so far, this place is good, but there are too many fine details I am not aware of."

Hal stayed silent before looking over. "If we choose to leave, we will be living the life we've been living these past years, scrounging for food, looking for shelter, I know you and I could survive, but if we do choose to travel, we must leave Malcom behind." It was only logical, there were days when Hal couldn't find food for Momo to eat, their longest dry spell lasting seven days (which ended up in Hal carrying the weak human to the nearest shelter before hunting for food). "If Malcom were to come, you or him would die, and knowing your personality, you would let him eat rather than yourself." And the android's job was to take care of Momo.
