Never Again..."Of course," Herald told her with a grin after they kissed. "We'll have to practice more before you can call yourself a master." He laughed slightly as he leaned back, still holding onto her as his head sunk into the pillow. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald put his hand on Emma's head as she lay back down on him, letting out a deep breath. He wondered how the plans were going to attack Divine in the ruins of Death City and exactly what those plans would entail. He knew Eric and Dara would certainly be in on it. Shira, Atticus, Michi and her partner Ina would surely make up the core of the attack along with himself, Emma, Mirai and her partner Texas. He still wanted to backhand Mirai for not telling them that Divine was still alive, but hopefully that problem would be corrected soon enough. He didn't know what kind of plans Divine had in mind, but he wasn't going to run. Not this time. Will I be bound in chains

☽Emma continued resting on top of Herald, her eyes closed as she thought over the events to come. She didn't want Herald to take another blow for her. She knew he could take it but she couldn't help but feel bad when he got injured because of her last time. Emma peaked up at Herald and stared at him quietly. ☾

Never Again...Herald watched Emma for a few more moments before he looked back up at the ceiling, closing his eyes. "Okay," he replied, folding his arms behind his head. "If you have any deep thoughts just let me know." He placed one hand on her head again, running his fingers through her hair. Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald grinned and shook his head. "Maybe for a little while. But not for long. There's always another contender just around the corner, no matter how many you kill." Although he didn't know much about the Blackwings, he knew that they and Divine were allies of convenience and so was Scarlet. They wouldn't go down with him; if they had to escape they would. And they would certainly come back to cause problems later. That was okay. Herald didn't want things getting too quiet. Will I be bound in chains
