I like to make and play characters with common flaws, since it forces me to get clever about how I do even the simple stuff; keeps things interesting. Tends to lose me all of my fights too crying but I have so much fun losing, I can't begrudge it. smile

No I refuse to RP with you. If you continue I will just let Icahn deal with it.

You are acting like a child and most of your "RPing" is occ. You even made a post that was nothing, but OCC which in most RP guilds is highly frowned upon. I have expressed my desire to not RP with you and so you brought things here and made childish comments about how you are going to bug me. Plain and simple, you yourself more so then your character ignores me. You have not broken any rules so I have merely decided I am annoyed and won't RP with you one on one. I said I will report it to Chan if you continue to harass my character.

One of these days, I'd really like to be able to go to bed, enjoy my night, and not wake up to in-fighting among the members. Fine, let's do this, because I'm starting to grow weary of the sudden increase in fights because people refuse to handle things on their own and would much rather just call me in for any little reason first.

Just before I begin, I'd like to address each RPCs personality very briefly.

Janus is indeed boring, lackadaisical, and downright annoying due to his almost comedy sketch-esque nature. I believe that's the point, he's supposed to be annoying as a concept.

Hakora is more or less serious with the urge to appear less serious to others and not much of a care for anyone who doesn't follow his ideology. Consequently, he likely appears self-centered to others. Again, fine.

It adds some spice the Captains don't get along perfectly. Its pretty boring if they don't. But the issue at hand seems to be the fact that the annoying personality began irritating the player, straight to the point where they told the other not to follow them. So, heading over to OoC [where I had a piping hot quote waiting for me], I decided to see what was up. Right next to the top of the page, sworday compliments Sonus, and Sonus in turn outright refuses to RP with the other, which because of the situation of the guild, I presume to mean in all current and future endeavors.

Well, in case anyone is looking, would you like to wager a guess as to how many people have been posting routinely of about once a week? I'll give you a hint, it isn't exactly the highest of numbers, which means we're a pretty tight guild strapped for members. Any fighting done only hurts us further because of that reason, and so far, this is the second fight within a month of time.

Now then, I would love to assume I can end it here and let you two work it out, but because I'm not in the best of moods from seeing this, I'm giving no one the benefit of the doubt.

So, Sonus' main complaint seems to be that an absent minded, halfway childish character is pestering him and the owner is also acting like a child [and in turn also insults the skills of another]. I'll admit personally that seeing OoC in every post seems a bit... excessive, and even grates on my nerves a bit, and this includes posts that are basically all OoC, since it always makes me ask why not just use the thread designated for it, but it's no capital offense or anything and again, given our slim member base, I've been glazing over most minor annoyances like that since they technically do no harm.

Now then here's what I'm going to ask of the two of you. This isn't an order, this is a rather strongly preferred request. Sworday, I ask that you at least tone down the OoC just a bit, or at the very least, refrain from making whole OoC posts in the middle of an RP thread and instead take them to this thread instead. Sonus, I'm going to ask that you work things out with him and deal with rather than just refusing to RP with him.

If the problem can't be solved by such simple means, well one of these two behaviors is more detrimental to the guild, and I'll be making an executive decision acting on that knowledge. Of course, if the fight devolves further, well, then more people will have to pay the price.

Now then, carry on. I expect to see this resolved by 7:30 EST Tomorrow unless there are any reasons this cannot be done and I am alerted about them or an extension is filed by [surprise] both of you! I'll be off then.

Fortunately its the former. As for your words taken to the extreme, you should expect it to happen more often. Regardless of what you meant, what is read and interpreted can be entirely different things. That being said, I stand by my message: You'll have to deal with yourself, between the two of you. You have a twenty-four hour time limit. There will be no refusal to RP with him in a one on on scenario of the kind that just occurred again. I hope I've made myself extremely clear.

Mostly because I'm bored, but also because you and I have talked about it way too many times...I am taking this chance, here and now, to challlenge you to an ooc fight in the coliseum. Xamthos versus Eveleen on just an ordinary, completely neutral, dirt field. Daytime, of course, and the fight to go on as long as it has to until one of our characters either yells stop, taps out, or goes limp. Otherwise, no holds barred balls to the wall as hardcore as you can go.


Same exact challenge to you, as soon as you get that 7th Division Captain approved. Why? Because as the 7th Captain, she would by default be their greatest hakuda master...which, for the Katena, is basically Xamthos. Just thought it would be interesting to see the two supposedly best hand-to-hand fighters throwing down with basically the same rules as with Eve. That is to say, none really except to win.
