Mmur had spent the entirety of the lecture so far leaning against the wall, watching the natural forms fly by and listening to Selene giggle and simper. So many beautiful creatures, each one specifically designed to frighten humanity. He looked down at his own drawing, grinning at his stick pony. How could those fleshbags reject what they had made?

He actually pondered that thought for three whole minutes before completely losing interest.

When the serpent instructed them to form a pair of lines, the horseman perked up with a grin. Adventure! And look! That reaper professor with the inkjars had shown up at some point too. Was he coming along? Mmur filed into place somewhere behind Malcolm, bouncing on the balls of his feet as he made his way through the glowing door.

Wait, so were they going on a field trip?

Erebus closed his notebook hastily and scrambled forward, eagerly tiptoeing to try and see what the door the Professor was about to open held within its depths. The first few tries produced strange things, but when the glowing door was finally opened, he felt excitement bubbling up within him.

Marzena could have been utterly content with this class consisting of only a lecture. And yet they had to leave now? What was this all about?

She could only groan inwardly as she shuffled towards the door. Whatever. She wasn't even sure what to expect right now.

They had to leave. Xavier slunk lower in his seat, if at all possible, then slipped silently out, tugged on Eldrid's sleeve as though trying explain without words that he really needed someone to just keep him alive and slunk from the room.

Sparrow, in the meantime, had found a certain reaper beside the door on his way out of the room.

"Angeline!" he said with delight, and gently took her by the elbow, leading her out of the room. "Fancy seeing you here. Shall we attend the class together, then?"

Mengyao, not for the first time, and definitely not for the last time, wished he were elsewhere. But this was a good opportunity to observe, he kept telling himself, a good way of learning more about the habits of those at the school.

Well. At least Lifen was here to keep him sane.

"Come," he murmured to her, and took her hand. "Let us proceed, if we must."

Willow had been taking notes up until she found Maple seemed like she was panicking, well much more than seemed like. She was panicking. She was going to stay something but all she found was her mouth hanging agape as the witchilng wrote more and more furiously.

Right up until they were asked to line up. She watched Maple and that was when she jumped and moved over to stay beside the witchling and pull her under her arm. Selene never said how to make a double file line. "Oi, calm down will you? You're going to use up all your fear and pass out."

She ruffled the girl's hair, "It doesn't matter if you miss a class or two, they often run more than one at a time it's how the breaks fall. The teachers understand that." Willow was trying to comfort the ghoul, "Besides I highly doubt Selene would ask us to do anything beyond our skill levels."

She paused watching the woman it seems as if she knows how it feels to fail. I highly doubt she'd expect us to do any better than our best, whatever that might be. She whispered

Mjoll watched as Selene closed and opened the door and closed and opened and closed..... and OH HEY PONIES! "Huh.... maybe distantly related." She answered off handily. It was when 'Malcie' stepped in to help that Mjoll sighed, some of those doors had been a bit unsettling, though nothing would top the castle with all the joy of the humans.

Fiona sent her work up to be handed in, she sat quietly listening ask other students asked question of Selene and then hopped up quickly when she announced they were moving out of the classroom. Fiona's lips quirked as she noticed Andrew doing his best to keep his own space. She just followed after and headed out with the class. Well wherever they were going should be fun!

No one bothered him too much. Which was good.

Andrew looked at the door way that the teachers had opened. That was not natural fire. were they going to the human world? Maybe? He was quiet as he passed through the door, but internally excited. This was going to be cool.

Taima followed the class as instructed, peering curiously around her classmates to watch the professor try to open a door. Each new environment on the other side looked more interesting than the next (with the definite exception of the one with the mutant, huge-eyed ponies). She rolled her eyes as the professor broke down crying, pretty tempted to just take the key herself and walk into whatever landscape presented itself next. Fortunately, the other professor seemed to have some idea of what he was actually doing. The glowing blue flame in front of the door looked promising, and Taima didn't hesitate before walking through it.

Zel chuckled as Amarus ran off, and he hurried after her, passing through the door and giving Kettil, Rosy and Darren a nod as he watched the doors resolve itself.

Once it was finished doing - whatever it did - he followed his ghoulfriend out to wherever they might be going.

If only to ensure she didn't instantly cause complete chaos.

Angeline nearly jumped out of her skin at the sound of Sparrow's voice - certainly she'd expected someone would talk at her eventually, she just hadn't expected it right then.

"Ah! Sparrow! You surprised me." she smiled. "But I'd certainly like to have the helping hand.

Thus Angeline was toted away by Sparrow tada!

Tomoko went too. Probably with Jack while fussing over his hair.

Shehk figured she'd tag along for now - at least until something else came along, she guessed.

Sura would go last. She was totally double-file by herself.

Despite the lengthy nap through just about every noise possible, Makoto did stir to life when the procession towards the library began. It was honestly questionable whether he had ever actually been sleeping or not, considering his somewhat mercurial (read: insane) nature, but nonetheless, the Inugami lifted his head and opened his eyes as the scraping of boots and tails raked across the floor.

"Ahhh." He let out a toothy yawn, canines flashing before he stood up, glancing at Molan and Maddy as though he had not just terrorized them both in his sleep. "Hello, Molan." His ears flickered, and he turned his gaze to the feline. "Thank you for the perch, Maddy." He stretched his shoulders and cracked bones with the ease and predatory elegance of a hungry carnivore, lazy eyes watching the unsteady procession in front of them. "Hm."

He smiled slowly, tugging at both of their ears in amusement. "Where are we off to?" He asked in amusement, letting go and stepping out to follow the crowd, though with the presence of a demon saying follow or I'll inflict unnecessary destruction upon you one day soon.

It may not have been at all obvious just yet, but Makoto was definitely not a morning person. Good luck, Maddy, Molan. Good luck.

Maddy started slightly as beside him Makoto came to life. How uncannily appropriate that he would wake just as they were about to leave. He nodded silently to the inugami, flashing a brief scowl as his ears were tugged between pointed fingers.

Then Makoto was asking questions, already trailing after the herd of students. Maddy knew that look. Doom was upon them. He cast a glance to Molan, and whispered just loud enough for the boil to hear: "... He ... just ..."

And then the cat scrambled from his seat, tugging the Isukun by a sleeve.
