Looking down at Shira, Atticus seemed curious, "Is there something wrong?" he asked.

Once the Shadow Skirter reached full altitude it began coasting back towards the DWMA at a steady speed. Captain Rachel walked over to where Shira and Atticus sat. "This mission may have been a set-up to begin with, but that doesn't mean we did this for free. You better have your grandpa take us off that death list," she told her, arms folded. Cathy was busy wringing out her tail as she watched the three, wondering if they would actually get the fresh start they dreamed of. Admiral Alex hadn't tried to wring out her uniform, not wanting to get it wrinkled. She untied the bows in her hair and let it fall down around her shoulders to allow it to try faster. She had no idea what her future would be. She'd been saved twice by these people but she was still convinced the Captain would make her walk the plank as soon as she got around to it.

"I see. Well, I guess that there are somethings that even you can't tell me, I understand, but if you can't tell me because it will put yourself in harm, then that will only cause me to worry more and about you." Atticus said as he had already deduced that whatever it is that she was hiding, had to have Sanctum involved in someway or another. "Just answer this one question, is Sanctum behind this?" he asked, wanting to be completely sure. Before Shira could answer, Atticus would force himself to his feet, despite already being in pain and make his way between Alex and the others, "Captain, I don't think you want to do that. This woman is under my protection, I will not allow you or any one of your crew mates to do anything to her." Atticus said as he wasn't in the state to fight anyone.

The Captain looked back at Shira and Atticus skeptically for a moment. "I thought you guys were here to do as much damage to the Steelforge Fleet as possible. That would obviously include killing one of their best Admirals." After a second she shrugged. "Fine. Suit yourself. But she's your problem now, not mine. And if she causes any trouble she's off my ship no matter where we are." She snapped her fingers again and the rats backed off. Admiral Alex watched them go for a moment before transforming her blade-arm back into a regular one. She gave Shira and Atticus a smile. "Thanks," she said as the Captain walked off to attend to the ship. "I guess that's two I owe you."

Cathy ran up to Atticus when she saw him coughing up blood. "Oh, you're hurt really bad..." she said as she looked him over. Admiral Alex walked up behind Cathy, still keeping a little distance from Atticus as she was still cautious about his split-personalities. Cathy fretted over him as she inspected his wounds. "You need to take it easy. I don't know if the ship can handle repairing another person so soon."
