The food cooking was the only sound being made in the kitchen as Beck was keeping an eye on it, taking out the eggs when they were finished and replacing them with a few more or flipping over the bacon and ham. The smell soon wafted throughout the entire kitchen, then the halls.

As Tray kept thinking about her situation, her stomach growled a little and she looked down at it, then remembered she should be heading into the kitchen about now. Biting her lip she looked around, she shouldn't be walking the halls of the castle in a nightgown so she walked over to her sack and took out one of her simple outfits, one she wore when she and Beck weren't training. Which even then was rare. Even so she put it on, it was a simple peasants outfit that was comfortable and functional as it had secret locations for weapons if need be. After she was dressed she headed down towards the kitchen's going slow, her hand gently running along the wall as she walked. As she neared the kitchen she could smell food and it made her stomach growl some more.

Beck was almost done when he heard a faint stomach growling. A smile crossed his face as he placed the food he made on two plates, laying them with the appropriate silverware before walking to the beginnings of the hallway. "Breakfast is ready beautiful." he said with a smile before disappearing in the kitchen. The King then slid over to the food and leaned against the counter.

Tray looked up at beck as he spoke she blinked then walked into the kitchen shortly after. She looked at Beck then at the food as she walked to the counter. "This looks really good." she said as she slowly took a bite, a small "Hmmm" escaped her as she ate.

Beck sat next to the woman as he too began to eat. A small grin walked onto his face as the first few bites exploded a wonderful flavor that surprised him. "You're right...it's actually quite good." he said after swallowing his food before continuing too eat at the nice and slow pace he had last night.

Tray nodded and ate silently, not wanting to ruin this good breakfast with talking.

Beck continued to eat his food in silence. Wondering what to say but not wanting to sound rude or come off as odd. Figuring that anything he would say would come out stupid, he kept his mouth to only eating the food in front of him.

Tray ate in silence enjoying Beck's work. After she was finished she sighed with content then stood up and headed to the sink and started to clean her dishes off. "That was really good your majesty."

"Thank you and you don't need to call me that. Just keep calling me Beck hun." he said with a chuckle, soon finishing his plate as well. The King then got up and walked over beside Tray, beginning to wash his plate as well.

Tray stopped what she was doing and blinked up at Beck then. "Wh...what did you say?"

"You don't need to call me Your Highness." chuckled the King as he said "I'm still the same old Beck Faowind, just obtained a title and position." Beck was done washing his plate and began drying it off before looking at her with a smile. "Is something wrong babe?" he asked.

Tray blinked then looked at the floor. "I know that, it's just well...I feel better if I call you by your title..." she bit her lip then. "And well I meant...I mean you...you called me 'hun'..." she looked up at him then. "And just now, 'babe'..."

Beck shrugged in response to her wanting to call him King, followed by a small grin as she stated the 'nicknames' he called her. After some thought, Beck responded "Well yeah," he looked into Tray's eyes. ", it just feels right to call you that."

Tray just looked up at Beck for a moment before looking back down. She bit her lip for a moment trying to think. Wondering if she should speak anymore or not. She did not have much more to say at this point.
After thinking for awhile longer she looked back up at him deciding to change the subject a little bit. "Should we go into town now then your majesty?" You were thinking of hiring new castle staff.

The King blinked a few times as he suddenly realized what she said and nodded. "Yeah. We really should." with that he said "We should hire...chefs, maids, medics, um...forget it. We'll think of more on the way out." chuckled the King as he walked past Tray. "Let's get going."
