The only way out was through the sole door. Every other inch was covered with screens, all of them busy. The ones in front was divided into quarters, the upper-left looking over Meph's shoulder. The upper right was divided into quarters as well, showing what the portable one had been showing. The lower half was divided up into several smaller screens, following Meph's guardians. The mother was buying fruit and vegetables from a stand. The father was sparring with the eldest son, so those screens were together to form one that was twice as wide. The eldest daughter was sewing at home, while the younger two were with their friends. The three remaining brothers were out in the forest. One was gathering leaves, another splashing in a pond and the third hunting.
The screen to their left was nothing but rolling text, while the right had a map of the academy, divided by level. It even showed hidden paths. The lower right corner showed the original academy, which was smaller without side wings, but still impressive. The wall behind them was the only dark one, containing only the door.
Lucifer grinned at Shura. "Impressive, no?"
