Up the trail, Veru was doing his best to get some of the strain out of his muscles. He hadn't taken a hit like An, but that brute was no simple scuffle. He ignored most of the talk of what to do with the great monster's body. It wasn't of much concern to him- but he had to think that a thing so full of hate and rage had to be toxic in and of itself. "Thing like that, liable to get you cursed..." he mused with a half smile.
With that, he returned to his firekin cohorts. It was hard to say if the Sentinels had won themselves any respect from the local rogues this day, but they had earned themselves one hell of a story to take back home. Hell, even those boneland fellows were liable to be impressed. He shot Seide a look before sitting beside Spaki.
"That fellow the elephant tried to kill before all of this," he started. "Must be pretty strong to be able to survive an attack like that on his own. We should pay a visit before we head out."
Wouldn't hurt to pick up a new recruit while they were out here.

He is colored by me, so please post at the misc cert thread! He does not need a duel for the firekin, just one RP in the lands to make it official.
It probably got glanced over during the RP, but he is the male who was injured by the elephant initially but survived.

[ I will take this moment to THANK EVERYONE for being super awesome and making this a really fun event! It absolutely exceeded what I had planned for it! [GLAD I SQUIRRELED A LOT OF PRIZES, EHEHE.]
Below is a list of newbies posted to the thread. I included everyone I could find, but please understand that 30+ pages is difficult to comb through. If you do not see yourself on the list, quote me!
I will leave this list open for two days. If by then no one has issued complaints, I'll go ahead and roll! ]

Shari was noticing many were interested in eating the elephant just like she wanted his hide. Realizing so many wanted in on him she finally made her decision and strode over to the elephant and began biting at a wound on the elephant. She used her claws and teeth to try pull the hide away from the meat. She wasn't interested in eating the meat though if she could get the hide away from the meat she might just eat enough to help get her back to her pride with the hide she was trying to take.
The elephants hide was tough to get lose so it was slow going for her but she was completely determined to get a decent sized piece of the elephants hide.
((Looks good from here too ^^ )) Saiorse's ears perked as she watched another begin to take the hide. Trophies. Now there was an idea. The lioness picked herself up, and headed over to the tusks. She had to bring at least something back, or no one would ever believe her. The lioness settled down beside it, and began gnawing at the end of the tusk. Once she had a good groove about a paw's length from the tip, the lioness put the bulk of her weight on the ivory, aiming to snap it off into a managable piece. She would have loved to bring back an entire tusk, but in her condition she doubted that would be feasable. When the tusk resisted, she settled down to deepen her groove, gnawing away at the tusk.

Mura was glad to see that the cheetah was alright. She thanked the gods silently before heading back. Others were near the elephant. She had no intention of ever getting near it again. Now that the adventure was over she would have to find a new land to explore. She was sure that she would never have an adventure quite like this one.
She was thankful that it was over though. Any more adventures and she might have just tired herself out. Her body still ached from the battle. In a few days time she sure she would be alright. She would just have to be careful not to over work herself too much. Before leaving she gave her companions a nod. She hoped that one day she could see them again.

Baatar smiled and decided that he too should probably take a trophy, as he wanted his future children to hear about this, he could dry the hide out, perhaps and keep it as a memento. He followed Shari's lead. "Good idea." He began to work at a loosened piece of flesh, it took a lot of effort from both his muscles and his decently sized canines, but he was getting there.

Shari wasn't surprised that the others began to come to the elephant and get a trophy too. She wasn't sure what she was going to do with the hide yet but she was taking it anyway. She had put a lot of effort into the hunt for this monster and she was going to take back a piece of it to be used by one of the druids even if it was for food.
She glanced at Baatar who had joined her in pulling off some of the hide. After some pulling she alternated to biting at the meat that was holding the skin to the body and then back to pulling. It actually seemed to make things easier. She wasn't too concerned with others taking pieces of hide. She couldn't take it all back but she'd be taking as much as she could handle.
Amali was silent, focused on his feather and the goings on with the healer and.. well, mostly ignoring the increasingly open desire to eat the elephant now that it was taken down. It wasn't necessarily different than any other prey, but it had bits of a story, it had caused harm, it had spoken to them.. it just didn't seem appropriate, so he would not take part in this feast. Now that it seemed like that was all that was left, though, he was ready to continue on his way.
He wasn't ready to leave his sister, though. So he gathered up his prize, stowing it safely the only way he could think of (by unceremoniously stuffing the feather into his mane until he could come up with another more crafty plan for it), and turned to Endesha.
"Walk with me?"

What she saw then was very... exciting, really! Though she had, of course, come across magic before, this was a very new sort. The dulling of the feather's white was not lost on her, and then right after the cheetah was... awake! She didn't look happy (she looked sort of scared, which was probably expected), but she certainly was looking a lot better than instants ago.
Kimaji didn't know what to say to Skall's words; she felt utterly unhelpful. But now she just felt too bashful to disagree, so she just smiled at the cheetah. At least she was going to be alright! "A-and, the others pulled you out from under the tree!" She wondered if she could ever be a healer. Kimaji had no idea about her capability to imitate the magical bits, but maybe she could still learn some things! Like the herbs they used, or something. She should ask Skall and his friend if they could teach her some things later.

Colorist: Safaia Parents: Armada x Heti Notes: Firekin names! Your dad is also off on sentinel tour, so mom will be telling you lots of things about him. Your mom is a notorious hardass, but she may be surprisingly sweet with her kids. Like your father she was a sentinel, but she was demoted from her rank after going against orders.
