"They will return shortly, Lumine,... I trust you won't forget us , and we will not forget you," Michiko patted Lumine's head, swallowing her sadness, and smiling softly.
Almost on cue, Ochiba and Rubuke's voice came from outside.
"You should have let me hunt that little animal."
"If you killed a Rabbit I'd be committing cannibalism."
"You don't have to eat it. I am sure the wolf would love it."
"Don't make my stomach turn-"
The two opened the door and came in with some nice amounts of vegetables and fruits, but as they came in and saw both Lumine and Michiko both stopped. It was Ochiba who spoke first,"The day has already arrive? It has caught me by surprise..."
"That can't be right- "
Ochiba went and hugged Lumine around the waisr dearly, before Rubuke's hesitation vanished and she too went on to hug the ex-celestial.

Lumine jumped, turning to face Ochiba and Rubuke with eyes still red from tears.
In that moment, her mind was consumed by fear, the same fear she had felt before confronting Michiko, but that fear melted away in an instant, as soon as her family's arms were around her. Nestled in their embrace, Lumine let herself sink into their warmth, and let her tears flow.
Warmth. That was something she would never forget.
"Th... Thanks, guys..." she spoke unsteadily and between sobs, "Thank you... for everything... I-I'm sorry it has to be this way... I'm sorry I made everything harder, but... I had to... I couldn't-- ...I just couldn't...!"
"...Thank you..."

Michiko soon joined the group, the four of them huddled in a group of tears mumbling how it was nothing and how it would be fine. It must have been minutes before Rubuke managed to break from them,
"I... I made you a gift Lumine," Rubuke reached into her robes and brought out a little bracelet, it had three little charms in it, "I made this for you. So you don't forget any of us, or Maemi, or Master Seijin, okay? " She took Lumine's wrist and tied it loosely around the ex-celestial's wrist. "It has a Kenkaku Seal from Maemi and Me , a Rouki Seal for Michiko and Seijin... and a Carrot for Ochiba,"[/coloe] As she finished the knot, the young crow sniffled again, "Big sister taught me how to make this a long time ago.... I hope you like it Lumine."

Lumine blinked away tears, eyes wide in awe, then threw her arms around Maemi's younger sibling. "I-I love it! I love it I love it! I'll never part with it, ever ever..!!" Lumine squeezed tighter, pressing her cheek against Rubuke's. She brought her arm up, resting her chin on the Tengu's shoulder as she inspected the trinket. It seemed to glimmer, at least in the ex-Celestial's eyes.
Pulling away from Rubuke, Lumine smiled warmly to her, and as she turned to Michiko and Ochiba as well. "It's beautiful... I'll always remember you all. I promise." She brought up the bracelet to eye level again. "With this, how could I...? It will make it... easier. So thank you." She turned, and gave Rubuke a quick peck on her cheek.

Rubuke blushed at Lumine's affection, particularly the peck on the cheek. She smiled at her though, "I am glad you like it, Lumine.... We won't forget you either."
There was another set of hugs around Lumine before Michiko spoke: " You better go Lumine... your adventure is waiting for you. You go and have fun, dinner will be ready when you come back, hear?"

Lumine rubbed at her eyes again, smiling, even if she couldn't see quite clearly yet. She took in one last glance at Rubuke, then Michiko, and finally Ochiba... One last look. Her heart swelled with the feeling of love she felt from them. How warm it felt, how pure and clean... It felt nice.
"Right, I'll be back soon! See ya later!"
Lumine turned and bolted for the door, feeling a small, renewed source of energy, the warmth of the love she felt from her family. She ran outside, to where Hanari awaited the ex-Celestial's return, and beyond, the end of their journey...
She made it a short way from Michiko's house, just far enough where the trees blocked her view of it. She was panting lightly, and stopped to look around. It was about time...
"Hanariiii!" Lumine called out to the trees, sky and beyond... As the Shinigami appeared, Lumine would take her hand and squeeze it, smiling.
"Let's go."

Hanari appeared in front of Lumine a few meters away in a poof of red sakuras. She walked up and took Lumine's hands in her own, holding to her dearly."Are you ready? Would you like to walk up there, or do you want me to take you there?" She was fine with either, though the first sounded like the one that'd take the most time....

"I would... like you to take me, Hanari. Please," Lumine said, her smile never fading. "I'm not sure if I could make the trip on my own strength. Thank you...--oh,"
With her hands in Hanari's, Lumine lifted the wrist that now bore Rubuke's fine craftsmanship. "A gift, from your sister... I think she'll be okay. You don't need to worry, okay?"

"I taught her how to make those, a long time ago when we were just children," Hanari took Lumine' wrist tenderly, looking at her once-sister's handy work,"I am surprised she still remember how to make these...but I am also glad at the same time. I do believe she will be fine, Lumine, as will Michiko and Ochiba; they will all do well!"
The shinigami smiled best she could taking the ex-celestial's hand,"Come on, we will go to the cemetery in the tengu village." As she finished her sentence, the surroundings begun to change and stretch as the both disappeared in a flash of pinkish red sakura blooms....

Lumine smiled, and nodded, then closed her eyes. In a moment, the air density, climate, and temperature changed. As she opened her eyes, a cool breeze blew, scattering the sakura petals that manifested by Hanari's ability.
She let go of Hanari's hand, and took a few shaking steps forward. Up and up, she climbed the grand staircase leading to the richer family's graves proper, stumbling once or twice and falling once when her leg gave out. She quickly shrugged it off and pulled herself back up, forcing her body to cooperate and climb the last few steps.
It wasn't long before she found herself standing once again before her love's grave. What a strange feeling, to have her heart pulled in two directions, one to the past, and to the woman beside her, each circling to form a grand eternal chain that reached farther than even a Celestial could fathom, let alone a former one.
"I'm home..." Lumine said softly, staring longingly at Maemi's grave. "Sorry to keep you waiting. It's a little early this time... and, I didn't pick you any flowers, but--...but..." Her body began to waver, and she tilted to the side a little, off balance. She stumbled a little, catching herself weakly, and looked to Hanari. "...Could I lean on you... please?"

Hanari staid close to Lumine, always reaching for when the ex-celestial faltered, always trying to give her a hand, though Lumine seemed to forced her body to move. The two went up the stairs, till the blue hared girl stopped before a grave: her own. Or Maemi's she should say. It was hard to say.
The shinigami offered her arms to hold the Lumine up with her fleeting energy. "Of course you can, Lumine, I promised to be here, and I will." It felt like something was wrenching her heart, and all she could do was hang on to that person who held her.

"Thank you... Hanari..."
Lumine nearly fell into the Shinigami's arms, allowing herself to melt into the embrace. She turned her head, facing towards Maemi's grave as she wrapped her weakening arms around Hanari's waist.
"...I'm sorry... for everything I've done... everything I failed to do... I hope you can forgive me." Her grip tightened around Hanari, warm tears soaking into her robe. "I didn't mean for any of this to happen... I'm sorry for always dragging you along, making you take care of me... Everything is my fault."
She paused, then looked up to Hanari with widened eyes. "Oh no, my letter! I-- ...I never got to... to give it to you..." More tears welled up in her eyes, looking heartbroken and defeated. "I-I failed... Even th-that..."

Hanari sat and listened to Lumine's talk with the grave. She was silent, hugging the celestial close to herself. Once she mentioned the letter she looked to her curiously. "Letter?... Don't worry , Lumine, Don't worry about it,I am sure Michiko will get t or or something! Don't worry..."

"But... I-I was supposed to give it... to you..!" She hid her face in the Shinigami's chest, letting her robe soak up the tears that overflowed. She hugged Hanari tightly, before returning her gaze to Maemi's grave, her head still leaned to Hanari's loving embrace.
"But... that's okay... Maybe Michiko will find it, and.. and she can give it to you... I trust them. Now that you are here... again, beside me... Now I can die in peace, for now... my life is blessed..."
Lumine's grip on Hanari's body slowly began to lessen.
"On that page... I wrote my last confessions... read it well when I... at last am sleeping... It's the story of those who always loved you, and of someone who felt so loved when she was in your keeping..."
By now, the girl was held up by Hanari's strength only.
"...H-Hanari... could I... rest on your lap?"

"A letter about---" Hanari suddenly flashed back to the letter Tebiki had given her the day she commuted that hate filled crime. "OH! Lumine, Lumine!' As she knelt down leaning the ex-celestial onto herself she spoke,"I read that letter! Noroshi-sama gave it to me! ...She found it and gave it to me! ...I-It was beautiful, and it cleared my mind about so many things. I will re-read it, I swear, and I will write one for you, for when you return to me, you hear me? "
She nodded into Lumine, petting her head,"Of... of course you may. " The shinigami helped Lumine ease down onto her lap. stroking the blue hair of the girl soothingly,"Is this okay...?"
