Well that's lucky. My folks aren't nightmares, but since waking I've been in three mini arguments with my mom. And then I avoided and stayed out of all the others. People get frustrated in the kitchen together, I assume. And I got yelled at for not being in the holiday spirit. xD

What Spirit? The spirit of a holiday celebrating a group of people that stole a country and escaped form religious prosecution only for said country to know have religion embedded in its laws? The States is irony our ancestors escaped England only to become Christian zealots all over again so in other words escaping to America did nothing but destroy Native America.

And if I say anything like that, I will be banned from eating any cake and accused of being a pessimistic traitor.
I agree though. People only push this holiday for the cash anyway. And I'm not really in the mood to shovel my time and money into this. Spending to buy a crap load of food and decorations just so I can turn around and do it all again next month for Christmas. Though I approve of Christmas and Halloween. I don't mind spending hundreds of bucks for them.

Yes, I agree that some holidays were born from unsavory origins and the media twists it so we see what they want us to see. However, doesn't mean we can't have a good day where friends and family come to meet and enjoy a good meal. Back to my Eggnog! To the Guild Dropped in to say Happy Thanksgiving! and Hi to all new members.

xdarkxinnocencex since it's winter time, anyone have teas they recommend? I myself like green based blends. I don't like Chamomile tea, so I'm not suggesting that one. But I do like Green teas, white teas, Darjealing tea, black teas, and teas infused with herbs. All are pretty good. I don't really have a tea preference. sweatdrop
