Oh god this was it – really it. With the spear-wielding Nega back in the fray, Athene was out of time and out of options. Really out of options – as in sharp point of wood in the shoulder out if options.

The dark-haired senshi could feel the point of the wood against his shoulder and his mind was helpfully, or was it unhelpfully, filling in the blanks of how much it was going to hurt when the Nega General pushed down on it. He shut his eyes hopelessly – turned out he hadn’t been of much use after all.

Then the General was suddenly being lifted away from him by some power, not that the dark-haired senshi had anytime to feel relieved as that same power was also violently shoving him back too. Although at least it was away from the two Negas.

Athene landed up hitting a wall, hard. The impact causing to feel a wave of dizziness and his eyes to tear up in pain as he landed on his already abused side.

[chaos, hourly]

Howlite's eyes narrowed as the rainbow senshi powered up, flinching at the brightness of her aura, and dodged the explosives intended for her. Instead, she'd taken an almost defensive stance... Casting.

She shouted, and the blonde's brow furrowed deeper.

This wasn't good.

Or, rather. It was, and that was a big problem.

"Oh good I'm here!" He shouted after jumping over a few more bodies that hadn't picked themselves up humming the utlimate showdown tune and taking up a fighting stance.

"Ready when you are Oh Captain, my captain." Someone had been watching too many Robin William movies. He put on his game face and was ready with his attack.

"Hygiea?" The knight rasped as he finally made it to the chibi he was pretty sure was the healer. Sinking to one knee and trying to catch his breath. "You're not alone out here are you?" He was looking around unsure of where Hygiea was suppose to be, hoping he could get her to a safe haven. His eyes kept flickering back to Polaris in worry though, despite how tried and hurt he looked.

He was taller he could get her wherever she needed to go if there was a need for it.

"The Dark Mirror Princess faces off with a White Moon Princess and - whoa! - what a blast! She sends the whole room scattered about, excellent blow from that b***h of a Princess!" Osumilite had been narrating into his microphone like some kind of sports announcer, his voice booming through parts of the room. He'd been standing guard by the door, trying his best to prevent people from escaping, but he had a soft-heart for children and younger teenagers - and he couldn't stop everyone. "Meanwhile Howlite and Zinkenite prove themselves to be bonafide badasses as they work together to flash and bang a couple of Senshi." There was probably a better way of saying that. "And the Senshi prove themselves to be even more ridiculous as a freakin' rainbow princess emerges onto the scene. She'll be no match for the Negaverse, undoubtedly."

Through the corner of his eye, he saw a male Senshi running for the exit. With a swift move, Osumilite swung his arm out to block him and the Senshi ran straight into it - his forehead colliding with the microphone with a hard thud and irritating screeeeeeeeeech. The Senshi fell, unconscious. "Not today, buddy," Osumilite grinned.

As it turned out, standing very still was not a hard thing to accomplish when one was in Ganymede’s current state of mind. For as long as the strange power preventing him from approaching anyone lasted—which was not much longer—he remained tense and rigid where he’d landed, taking the strange moment of peace as an opportunity to settle himself down as much as he possibly could.

Which was not a lot, considering he had been pulled away from the one source of comfort he’d had within reach, but after the shock of their separation had worn off—and if it didn’t wear off entirely, it at least waned after a few moments when nothing terrible followed—he was able to swallow down his distress and get a few good breaths in. He stood rooted to the spot, glancing here and there to find Valhalla and the remainder of his allies, looking left and right to see that he was not the only one to have been affected by whatever stranger power had brought him there.

Eventually he felt the power leave, no longer effective, and he could move again without before forced forward or back or side to side. How it had happened, Ganymede had absolutely no idea, but for that short period of time it seemed to prove marginally beneficial.

Once it was over, Ganymede returned to seeking out his allies, only to give a start as he sensed another large aura burst forth.

And then anger was quick to join his panic and fear, and he stumbled around to try and see who it was as the battle picked back up around him, and he wanted to stop it all but of course he couldn’t. No one could—not him, not his friends, and not any of these royals. If they could, why hadn’t it ended sooner? He and his friends fought and bled and suffered as they… what? Hid in the crowd? Looked out only for themselves?

Go away! he wanted to scream, but his breathing was ragged and he was so exhausted, and nothing he said ever made a difference anyway. After all we’ve done, after all we’ve been through, and you come out now?!

He cursed under his breath and tore his eyes away to look around for Valhalla, Pasiphae, Kallichore, or Tsui only to find Oberon on the ground several yards to his right. Ganymede stumbled his way over to him, shoving aside another stray lieutenant, sinking back to his knees to help the chibi senshi rise.

“Ob-Oberon…” he gasped. It remained difficult to speak through his tight throat, but he did his best to ignore what he’d previously done with his magic and gave all of his attention to his young friend. “Oberon, are you… you okay?”

Where were the others? They’d only just found one another only to be separated again.

“Val! Valhalla!” he managed to shout. “Pasiphae! Kallichore!”

Ahhhh, a space. Wriggling her lithe frame beneath the stage she spotted the light colored fur finally, her toothy smile growing with a viciousness.

She didn't know the guardian, but that didn't bother Dahlia, she was just happy to finally have something to do. And without further ado or playing with her prey she leapt at the other cat's back, claws out and teeth ready to try and manuver through fur to the flesh underneath.



Polaris' aggression had died for the moment in exchange for her weariness. And Ares' desire to talk was actually appreciated for the moment.

The words were silver, almost tempting to believe. They made sense in a way. That something had blinded her in the past and her awaken had given her clarity. Only how could there possibly be clarity in Chaos? If Polaris were not so inherently stubborn she might have found them even more so tempting and willing to consider. But her lines had been drawn long before. And just as Ares had drawn her lines at corrupt or kill the white moon senshi.. well Polaris had drawn hers at purify or kill those taken over by Chaos.

"I do remember my star and how it used to be. But that isn't a home for me anymore. Not right now. There is no life there.. even if I can fix the buildings and the world.. it does not bring back the people that were lost."

"It's our duty now to protect the people of earth, my second home, the place of my birth, for the Negaverse. I could never abandon it. Not while they were here reeking havoc on the people of Destiny City."

She shifted for comfort, her stance defensive, but no longer holding that offensiveness that she was too tired to carry through with. "Why don't you just take them now? Take your Dark Mirror Senshi and leave to space if that's what you want. I doubt any of us would try to stop you." Well.. maybe Chronos.. but Polaris kept that to herself for now.

Tsui had no idea what had happened; one moment she was helping Pasiphae carry Kallichore to a healer, and the next, she felt a blast and was thrown back! The moment she felt that she could move again, she crawled towards Kallichore, seeing her just beyond her reach. It hurt to move now; whatever Polaris had done must have thrown the Tiger senshi into a group of chairs or maybe even the wall.

Someone was throwing water on top of Kallichore's form, a page,or knight. It was hard to think clearly with everything going on. She didn't want to think. All she wanted to do was attack, attack anyone with more black on their uniform than any other color.

"And where do you think you're going?" Tsui could hear her sister's voice in the back of her mind; a hell of a time for a memory to sneak up on her. She saw herself heading out the door, with an angry Maddy looming over her; would she ever see her sister's face again? "It's way past curfew! I am NOT going to explain this to Mom when the cops drag you home again."

"I'll be fine. Just an after school club meeting, that's all." Tsui said, as Gwen; god, she sounded so smug, so stupid. It was just a meeting, no need to tell Maddy good bye, or that she loved her. To think, she would likely die here, and her sister would never know her secret. She'd never see Micah again. She'd never get to tell Mom congratulations on her pregnancy... or see her baby brother, or sister...

"I... won't die here..." Tsui told herself, renewed vigor pulsing through her as another princess revealed herself. She had no idea who this princess was, or what she was capable of, but as idealistic as it was, seeing the rainbow gave her some hope. She crawled closer and closer towards Kallichore, determined to protect her in any way she could. "Not here... not like this..."

She will see Maddy, Micah, her mom... her baby brother or sister. She was determined!
