Gray grabbed a sheet of paper and a pencil from the desk, holding out his hand for the pendant. "Here. I'll use this to make a copy of the design for myself. I know some of the characters on the symbol are Greek. But I'm not sure the language itself is Greek. I'll have to look it up and see exactly what it means."
he watched her for a moment, before leaning back against the desk, pursing his lips as he looked at the ceiling. "Well, the way I see it, isn't it more frightening not to know your past? I mean, it doesn't really matter what the symbols mean really. That isn't going to tell you who you are or what sort of person you are. It's just going to tell you where you're from and all that. As far as who you are, that's something you decide for yourself, each and every day isn't it?"
He grinned down at her and ruffled her hair. "I don't think you've got anything to worry about."

I really can't express how grateful I am if you could be able to help me.. 'Coz.. If I can't find the answers here in Rosentale.. I might move out..And be on a journey.." She sigh.. Well, that might help her forget about Severin too..
Gray ruffled her hair.. "Do you think so? You see.. I'm scared if I know about my past and I wasn't the person you all know.. I'm afraid of being outcast or being rejected..." she sigh..
"Does it look like a greek symbol? hmmm..." She stared at the ceiling then back to her pendant.. ✿▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ "My only mistake is YOU"

"Well, I wouldn't contemplate a journey of self exploration just yet," Gray said, finishing with his rubbing of her pendant. "If you're going to find out what this means, I have no doubt that Rosentale is the best place for you--all the staff are most knowledgeable."
"Besides, my dearest, most beautiful little Chea, Rosentale is a place that accepts all people no matter who they are or where they're from. If they can accept an old swindler like myself, then no one in their right mind would ever reject a sweet little cutie like yourself."
He folded up the paper and put it in his pocket. "Now then, why don't I escort you to wherever it is you wish to go next," he told her offering his arm. "I'll return for all my books later, when the librarian is in."

"Well, I wasn't really headed anywhere in particular, my dear. Why don't we go wake up this Severin of yours," Gray said. "Can't have some bloke sleeping during school. That just won't do at all. Anyway, who is Severin--a teacher?"
The way she talked about him made Gray wonder if there was something there--she seemed to be a girl who was very much in love. Not that he knew a lot about love, but her face when all cute and mushy when she said his name. And a little sad. Probably unrequited love, the poor thing.
