Flying so high above, Belle decided to skid to an abrupt halt and scan the sky again. Feeling defeated, she tilted her racing broom down to the earth below her and cruised down at a leisure pace, absorbing everything. She only sought one thing, the snitch.

Daisy Benster First Year Slytherin~Chaser
*****************
Daisy quickly caught the Quaffle and smiled at Jasmine,"Thanks!"She then turned and started her way down the field with the ball in her hand. She looked to her left and to her right to see if any Ravenclaw chasers were near her. Then she saw Ronyo and changed to the new formation. She smiled and looked around to see if any of the chasers were around so she could pass. O.o.C:
Things had picked up quickly as Daisy caught the ball from Jasmine and began to dodge and weave her way through the Ravenclaw chasers. Watching the players it was easy to forget that the effort being put down here was also going on between two individuals soaring above the clouds and all around the pitch. Unless the Slytherin chasers could score 13 more times without the Ravenclaws ever scoring, an idea that was highly unlikely, the finality of the game would come down to Belle and Tristrain and that small tiny gold snitch.
It was ideas like that which had the potential to make players questions what they were doing and if it mattered. Questions like those were not something in Ronyo’s mind at the moment as he was not looking to assess the situation and best form a motion to help Daisy, stop the Ravenclaw chasers, and prepare a counter strategy should the quaffle get taken. With a smile on his face Ronyo took off towards another Bludger and made a quick side-long turn, slamming his bat into the sphere. His target was Chase, as the sight of the boy fully rejoining the game with an attempt at the quaffle had Ronyo feeling he had given the boy enough time to breath.
Apparently Ronyo’s focus was not entirely were it needed to be as his swing for the bludger had resulted in a miss and the small crazy orb punching the Slytherin captain hard in the gut. The blow had startled the white haired wizard as he had assumed his strike to send the bludger away and then to move on and forward to help his team again. The blow had done more mentally than physically thanks to the padding and location of the hit but Ronyo still took a moment to catch his breath and remind himself that the bludgers were not just simple spheres, but enchanted items that were more chaos incarnate than anything else.
With a grunt and a heavy exhale of breath Ronyo gritted his teeth and took off for the same bludger which had moved off after striking him. Coming alongside the orb Ronyo kept his focus on the crazy enchanted ball this time and gave it a crack with his bat, once again aiming for Chase as his target.

The Beaters seemed to have shifted their attention to Chase as he just barely evaded two bludgers. Another hit meant certain death for him, so he had to awkwardly shifted his broom left and right. He accelerated towards Daisy, going in for another attempt.

Alan Powell - Quidditch Rerferee
Alan decided the game was going no where fast and mounted his broom. He kicked off the ground. He reached the center of the field and pulled out his wand. He touched it to his jugular and cleared his throat. The echo of the sound rippled throughout the field. "Attention, Due to the fact that the next quidditch match is scheduled in three days. I am calling the match. Slytherin wins the match 10-0". He floated down to the ground waiting for the players to file out of the pitch.
((OOC: Oh man im so sorry guys, Ive had a lot of school work and no much time to RP)).
That was it. The game had been called with no snitch being caught and only one goal being made. It sounded like a boring game but from the looks of the two teams a different story was told. Sweat, blood, and tears had been poured into this first game and both sides had given it their all. Ronyo took another deep breath feeling were the bruise would likely appear from the bludger hit and looked around at the players, both sides. Beaten and battered was what was coming off the field and a look that showed the will to go on even if the body was not able.
With that Ronyo flew to the two Ravenclaw chasers who had been putting up such a stalwart fight against the onslaught Dominic and Ronyo had given them. He leveled his broom out next to them and gave another deep inhale and exhale of breath and could see both of them would be carrying a few bruises to the hospital wing for a looking over. He placed a hand on each of their shoulders and smiled as he started to breath heavier with the adrenaline wearing off.
"You two are stone eagles, keep this up and next time those bludgers are just going to bounce off you," Ronyo chuckled a bit and then pushed off as he past the rest of the Ravenclaw team and gave them nodes and shouts of "good game," in passing.
Moving to his team as they gathered up around him he could not keep the large smile off his face. His whole team had put up a wonderful effort and because of that they had come out on top. It didn't matter if it was by one goal or fifty, in Quidditch nothing was ever certain and his team never once stopped playing like they were in the world cup.
"You all did a brilliant job out there, don't let that score or anyone else tell you otherwise. This was a tough match and one that pushed our endurance and fortitude and everyone performed wonderfully. We won our first game of the year people, and this is just the start. That trophy is as good as ours...am I right? Am I Right!?"
Ronyo cheered with his team and then followed them down to the ground where they touched it for the first time in what felt like hours. Ronyo could feel his legs tighten around his muscles and his already toned stomach felt compressed even more. That was one game down, now they just had three more to go.

Chase Henrick ~ Ravenclaw Chaser ::: Second Year ~
{Life 1}{Life 2} {Life 3}
That was it. They lost. The end. Chase didn't know whether to feel relief, since he didn't have to be bludgeoned further, or sadness because they lost by 10 points. If only he had managed to score...
He sighed, finally allowing himself to breathe. Chase slowly lowered himself to the ground, positive that a slight movement will send him twisting in pain from his injuries. Though that didn't matter, because as the adrelanine rush came to an end, the pain in his stomach and shoulder started to intensify. Shortly before his foot touched the ground, he rolled off of his broom and landed on the ground below him with a "thud". He laid there, looking up at the sky. I survived...
He got up in awkward movements, clenching his gut. Did that even help? Well, he had to congratulate the other team. He nodded at the Slytherin captain, then said, "Your teammates are quite talented. Good luck at your next game." He tried to smile, but the pain kept him from giving a genuine smile.
Chase turned to Shina, speaking in such a low voice that it may as well have been a whisper, "Thank you for being there for me."
"The person who tries to live alone will not succeed as a human being. His heart withers if it does not answer another heart. His mind shrinks away if he hears only the echoes of his own thoughts and finds no other inspiration." - Pearl S. Buck
Shina drifted over to a wobbly looking Chase, taking a deep breath. It was disappointing to lose a match that had been called for time, but she felt like she had really tried her hardest. The snitch had just been too elusive for either Seeker to find.
At the Slytherin Captain's unexpected praise, Shina blushed, not that it was really visible with the bright flush of exertion already staining her cheeks. She didn't manage to find anything to say before he left to talk to his own team. Shina followed her teammate to the ground, dismounting carefully.
As the adrenaline started to wear off, Shina suddenly became painfully aware of her damaged ribs when she thoughtlessly tried to roll her shoulders, only to feel a sharp, hot pain a hand-span below her shoulder blade on the left side, with a deep ache radiating underneath and out from the brightest flare of pain. Her chest suddenly seemed a size too small, and taking a full breath was clearly not in her immediate future. A quiet groan slipped out of her. "Aaah. No problem. I had the faster broom, made sense for me to play decoy. You need an escort to the Hospital wing? If I feel this bad after one hit, you probably need the nurse to take a look at you," Shina said, glancing down shyly before trying a smile. Her smile was moderately better than Chase's, but her eyes were also tight with pain.
((OOC: I'd like to have her have a more serious injury than just a nasty bruise, is that okay in this situation, or do I need to do a plot request? Twelve year old hit with magical cannonball seems like a reasonable reason to have an injury... )) {Life 1} | {Life 2} | {Life 3} Wearing

Daisy Benster First Year Slytherin~Chaser

Right as Daisy was about to get half way down the field she heard the referee and flew down with the Quaffle in her hands. She walked over to the case and set the ball in its designated spot and then walked back."Good game Ravenclaw,"she said as she passed them to get to her team. O.o.C:

Chase smiled at Shina. But you didn't have you, he wanted to say. "You'll need the nurse to look at you too," he said. "A bludger to the ribs can't be taken lightly. Let's escort each other?" He held out his hand for Shina to take, then he would stroll off to the hospital wing to assess the damage done on his body.
{OOC; Sorry for second post, but I can't think of any way to post this otherwise. ;n;}

Sometimes you need to step back.....
Vanessa was exhausted by how this game went. It was probably the hardest she had played since she first joined the team. Both team was evenly matched in skills. Her green eyes surveyed the teams as they all made their ways to the ground. Everyone seemed to have taken at least one hit by a bludger some were during the match. The blond was certain that she would have a nice bruise on her side from one of the impacts.
As she felt her feet touch the ground, She stretched feeling her shoulder scream in protest. It was one of the times she had been been hit was there. "that game was exhausting, probably one of the toughest games I've played since I joined the team." as normal when she spoke she wasn't sure if she was heard. Bending down, she picked up her broom and placed in on her good shoulder before making her way towards the slytherin lockroom.
"Probably a good idea," Shina admitted. "Now that the adrenaline is wearing off..." she trailed off with a grimace. The pain seemed to be getting worse, but it was probably just her realizing she was hurt, she thought. Shyly, she took Chase's hand, and headed off to the hospital wing with him.

Indignation and disappointment welled up inside the redhead. It wasn't fair! This was not a fair game! Only one goal had been scored! The snitch had only been spotted once! This was not an adequate test of skill. Slytherin had only gotten in ten points! And it was all because of her... She had let her team down. If she had been that much better, Slytherin wouldn't have scored and they would have come away with a tie. Thudding to the ground, Cat only managed a quiet "good game" before trudging off the field, not happy with the game...

Remy ran onto the field, CleanSweep in hand. She smiled a bit as she realized she was the first one on the pitch, beating even the referee. Today was a good day for quidditch, not too hot or too cold. She was ready for a second win.
