Marco reached for his hands and tried to do the math of how much younger than he was to her, he stuck his tongue out and continued to try it, finally he laid his hands down.
"Is that more than ten? Because that's what I keep getting."

Manra notices Rai'o smile, before she hears a couple of the spirits conversation, and giggles quietly at Rai'o's reaction. From how long I've heard and seen you, Rai'o...they're right. You seem mostly grumpy and mean and sometimes even scary, but...you also are nice...you just don't show it a lot.

Marco: "Let's put it this way," Nashai'o replies, "there isn't even a number for it. I have been bound to the Ring for 1,000 years, but I have lived far longer than that; and far longer than you shall ever live."
Manra: "You can talk to me verbally, you know," Rai'o says. "But yes, that's pretty much how I am."

"Well... I do like your last answer..." I say to Mashai'i, smiling a bit. for the first time, I actually realized I used these expressions all the time, but just never paid attention. I started to wonder what sight would do to the appearence of combat...

"But talking in my head to you is more comfortable, Rai'o." Manra says quietly. "I'm not....don't talk a lot out loud to others."

I look to Hahai'i with great interest before glancing about at the scenery around us. "I already think it's rather beautiful... To picture it more so is almost impossible!" I continue to say in thought as I look back to him. "What was your last ring bearer like?" I ask out of a random curiousity that popped into my head.

Moriah: Mashai'i smiles again. "Say, several of these others have fancy stuff made of energy!" he says. "How about we work on that for you?"
Manra: "Better get used to it, kid," Rai'o replies.
Amadahy: Hahai'i stops walking.
Everyone: All of the Spirits stop walking, starting with Hahai'i. All of them look at Hahai'i, awaiting his answer. "...I'd...rather not talk about the Blue General," Hahai'i says at length. He resumes walking, but his strides are smaller and his pace slower. Nashai'o looks away from Marco and looks at Hahai'i with a soft expression. "We all have our issues with our previous bearers," Nashai'o says. "Mine was an insufferable b*****d who threatened the other bearers' lives daily. Some defender he was..." You all know from the legends that he was called the Indigo Defender.

"...Fancy stuff made out energy? What do you mean?" I ask, tilting my head to the side. I assumed that he was refering to visual things, because that would have likely been something I would have noticed otherwise. At the thought of visual things, I grabbed my sword's sheath, and pulled it out. I had of the things I wish I could see, my blade was perhaps at the top... tied only with being able to see my own body. But, for all intents and purposes, I had firmly believed this weapon to actually be part of me. I lifted the weapon into my visual range, glad I could finally see it's splendor, even if the colors were off, at least according Mashai'i.

Marco looked down at his ring, a bit of sadness in his expression. Then he hugged Nashai'o.
"Why am I always the bad guy!" He screamed as tears ran down his face, thinking that being Indigo he too would turn on all his teammates.
"I like everyone here, they are super nice! Especially Amadahy!" He cried loudly.

"Hmm..." Maxwell said as he looked at Mihi'o. "Alrigjt. Now, I do have a question for you. What was my predesessor like?" Maxwell paid close attention to Moriah, seeing that she was getting very chummy with her own spirit.

"I'll try..my best..Still real new." she murmured at Rai'o before the mood suddenly changed with the Spirits, from mention of the previous Ring Bearers. That's right...didn't they...use their powers ...and split up to makes duplicates of the Originals..? All but...the Orange Bearer?

Moriah: "Let me fix that for you," Mashai'i says. The colors change: the sword changes from green to a series of new and unique colors, but everything else remains in the eight-color spectrum. The only color you recognize from Mashai'i's previous color definitions is the black on the handle. "The blade is the color silver," Mashai'i explains. "The handle is black, but has some very interesting designs. The designs are mostly what we call 'swirls,' but there are also some paw prints here and there. The designs are made of gold inlay. The color itself is gold, but 'inlay' means that it was placed into spots in the handle where the black material was carved out."
Marco: "The Indigo Defender was that way from the start," Nashai'o says. "I doubt you'll become like him."
Maxwell: "The Black Knight was much like you, actually," Mihi'o replies. "He was a loner. A damned idiot. He was the first of the Original Bearers to die."
Manra: "Yes, they used one of our mightiest powers: duplication of the Rings," Rai'o replies verbally. "That was how they created the Legions. The only one who did not perform this foolish action was the Orange Soldier. He was the wisest of them all, despite being the youngest of them."

"Well, I have my reasons for wanting to be alone." Maxwell said as he looked ay Moriah again. "I prefer not to have anyone die because of my mistakes."

Manra thought about what Rai'o said, "I'll never do anything like that. One Rai'o is all the world needs. Don't need no more clones with little mindness of what the Rings stood for." she said, just loud enough to be heard by the others.

I look at the sword, not quite sure what to make of it. I've heard people call this a beautiful blade before. I noted these marks, not really sure what any of them ment in cotext to the rest of the world, but found them pleasing nonetheless. I look back at the group, trying to find Maxwell. I tried to look for a visage that resembled his aura from before I had Mashai'i try to let me see. I wanted to see what my guide looked like...
