Speaking of sweating, Christof was looking bedraggled, worn out, and slightly horrified by the blue fairy cake now balanced on top of the quivering brain on the frisbee-plate he was still carting around. He had wandered around the booths as quickly as he could, scouring for any sign of tentacles, but the sugar-enriched Mindflayer had always been too quick for him.
Wobbling, he lurched back home to the fitness booth, trying to figure out how he would explain to the Dragon that he had lost her...
Until he heard the metallic sliding clang of a sword being shoved directly into rock.
M-MISTRESS! There you are! Look, I made the brain tastier, wouldn't you like it? Please? Was she still sugar mad? It was difficult to tell, but he didn't see any dismembered corpses around and so Jericho had clearly trusted her with a live blade at least...
But he had to question the dragon's judgment, overall.

The Fitness Booth. Aislin had been here once before when that stupid lepus hunt had happened. She'd meant to explore it a bit more thoroughly but had just been too frustrated at the complete loss to be able to focus. With the intention of actually looking around this time she trotted back over.
Just in time to see Riley plunge a sword into a rock. A big rock. And she shoved it pretty deep in there. The banshee tilted her chin up as she looked on in muted awe. Impressive.
The pale ghoul walked over to where the small group was standing, her bare feet making muted sounds in the grass. "So... what's up with the sword? Won't that, I don't know. Wreck it?" She might be wrong. She didn't know much about swords, to be honest.

For a moment or so, Jericho merely stared at Riley's word with his jaw slightly agape. He moved closer towards it and gave the sword a light tug. There wasn't so much of a jiggle.. The blade was stuck pretty firmly into that rock for sure. The dragon gave Riley a sort of hatchling-ish look briefly but then let out a sigh. "Alright. Alright. You have a point." Turning away from the sword, he let out a cry to basically repeat Riley's words. "WHOEVER CAN PULL THE SWORD FROM THE STONE SHALL BE ITS TRUE OWNER!" he yelled. "Oh by the way, these blades are said to be rather special. I'd love to keep them myself," he added, as if trying to add some incentive for attempts. ((OOC: 1. Roll 1d100 along with an rp post of your character attempting to pull out the sword. 2. Every now and then I will post the results of each roll done before that mark. Once I have posted results, you may roll again. Until then, ONLY ROLL ONCE. 3. Game will continue until 5 excaliburs have been won. 2 more swords are to be wonYOU MAY BEGIN))

If Aislin had fuzzy ears like most of the other students she'd met they would have perked right up as the dragon yelled his announcement. Well hey. Pulling something from a rock couldn't be too hard, could it? Besides... this was a challenge. Raising a hand and trotting forward the banshee spoke up. "Here! Let me!"
Approaching the rock the ghoul eyed it from a few different angles. Finally she stepped up, planted both of her feet on either side of the rock, gripped the pommel and gave it a good, hard, yank.

Aislin - The sword seemed to have somehow sank deeper into the rock with that attempt.

Was Christof carrying a brain.. with a cupcake on it?
Riley looked ravenous. She snatched up the treat, cuddling the plate to her.
Oh, Christof. You shouldn't have.
He really shouldn't have. That poor fairy cake.
Even as she cuddled the cupcake and brain, she caught Jericho's hatchling-eyes, and was this close to cooing at him for how adorable it was - but Aislin's attempt with the sword diverted her.
For a moment, Riley briefly wondered if she'd just made this test of strength a bit.. too difficult.
Ooops.

"HNNNNG." Oh god did she just push it in even FURTHER? Frustrating and infuriating but... also kind of impressive in it's own right. She'd managed to shove a sword even deeper into stone. That must mean she had some kind of strength, right?
Glancing behind her she saw that no one else was rushing up to try. With a shrug the banshee turned back to her foe. This sword. This sword would come out and it would be hers. The challenge had been made by dragon, rock, and blade.
She turned back around and grabbed the sword again. She braced herself... and pulled harder. This time she even leaned back into her pull.

Cady barreled through the halls, shoving students and spectators alike aside as she rushed toward her goal. Her wings were tucked close to her back and her rather dangerously armed tail flapped carlessly in her wake. Her face was a visage of grim purpose.
And so, she arrived, slightly winded, at the fitness stand. She stood stock still, staring mysteriously for a few moments at the patchwork boil she'd been giving such a hard time all day. He looked like he was offering the tentacle monster a plate of - brains? Weird. It mysteriously had a cupcake perched atop it, like some kind of garnish. Whatever, the other ghoul seemed pretty pleased with the gift, and snatched it away. But Cady only had eyes for the patchwork boil. Studying him.
Her eyes glazed over. Her lips parted, ever so slowly, into a huge, if empty, grin. But instead of talking, she only maintained eye contact silently. Minutes passed.
She almost didn't notice Ash trying to pull a sword out of what looked like one of the rocks from the Lepus game field. Cady glanced over, her concentration broken and the eerie expression fading.

Chun Mu walked towards the fitness booth, there seems to be something going on. There wis a sword in a stone, and a ghoul was trying to pull it out, but didn't succeed. Chun Mu wondered what was so difficult about it, and decided to try it for herself. She shuffled towards the rock and placed her hands onto the sword, "Here goes nothing," she whispered and gave it a pull. ((shoot, if it is one person at a time please ignore this))

Aislin - That time, the sword jiggled a little, but remained within the stone.
Chun Mu - The blade is stuck firmly in the stone.

Jericho watched Aislin as she attempted to pull the blade from the rock. Briefly, he glanced to the side to see Christof's offering to Riley. So that was where the igor had went? He could have sworn he was trying to keep up with the mindflayer, but apparently that wasn't the case.
Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw another approaching. It was Christof's new friend, the manticore.
"Come and give it a shot," he grinned.
Just as he said this, he saw another girl he hadn't seen before walk up and give it a go.
((It isn't one at a time. XDD))

"GNRHHHGHHHG!" Wait. WAIT. Did she feel it jiggle? She felt it jiggle! Aislin looked down at the sword, eyes cracked open and showing a gleam of impending victory. She noticed Cady walk over as some other ghoul tried her hand at the sword pulling.
"Cady!" The banshee shouted her name loudly, waving her hand. "Cady come see if you can pull this sword out! ...After me, though."
Once more Ash stepped up to the rock. Okay. She knew the technique now - put your whole body into it. She grabbed that handle, braced herself, and threw her entire body into the yank almost violently.

Chun Mu slumped over. This sword was stuck all right. At this moment she saw the scorpion-tailed girl from the cafeteria and waved in her direction. Then she looked over to see the other ghoul manage to loosen the sword a little. MuMu quietly fumed inside. Why could that other ghoul do it and she couldn't? Chun Mu didn't give up. Her long tongue running over her top lip, she yanked the sword upwards, hoping for better results.

Cady looked up at the bat winged boil, and then back at the sword. Huh. "Okay," she replied, her lack of an enthusiastic response the only sign that she was still a little tired from her sprint. Which had probably been a bad idea in retrospect. Unless she wanted to have to drink fish tank water again, which actually didn't sound too bad.
She waved to Ash and stepped up to the rock, wiping her hands absently on her jeans. She cracked her fingers. This couldn't be THAT hard...Right? Impatiently, she waited for Ash and the other ghoul to go, as requested. Her tail flicked a little excitedly.
Finally, it was her turn. She gripped the sword on each side of the hilt, by the guards, and tried to ease it upward. It wasn't exactly poetic but it was a lot less slippery.

Christof could feel something that sent a chill up and over and down his curved spine, slowly turning from Riley and her gift- (Please eat the brain, please, Mistress-) to spy the manticor girl... once more... this time staring at him and... grinning.
Oh, Fear Alive she had spotted him.
He tensed, eyes wide and terrified before, thankfully, the Dragon swept in and provided a distraction. He relaxed, safe for now. Maybe Jericho... wasn't as bad as he had thought. Maybe.

Aislin - Unfortunately... the sword seemed to sink right back into the rock. No more jiggling.
Chun Mu - That is... until Chun's attempt managed to loosen it back up to where it was a moment ago.
Cady - Perhaps that jiggling helped! For the sword slid cleanly out of the stone.

"Oh nice!" Jericho congratulated the manticore, "That one's all yours."
With a grin, he glanced towards the others, "Oh don't worry guys. There's a few more blades left."
That grin turned rather devious as he went to fetch the remaining blades. He tossed one at Christof to help him stick the damn things into the rocks in the field.
With a cry, he charged for one of the stones and stabbed out, managing to lodge the sword deeply into it.
