I take the bag, bowing my head, and leave the shop. When Anima and I are outside the shop, I pull the collar out of the bag and look at Anima.
"All right," I say, "turn around."

I quickly put the collar around Anima's neck and latch the buckle so that it fits snugly.
"It's just easier to latch it from behind."
I take a step back.
"All right, let's see how it looks."
