Seth just grunted in return and staggered his way through the cave, making his way back to the helicopter in whatever means he could. None of his flying Pokemon were conscious anymore and his Luxray was returned to his Pokeball.
Eventually the group managed to get out before the tide came in. However, Seth knew he wasn't going to be able to pilot the helicopter himself all those hours back to the HQ.
When they arrived back at the vehicle, Seth clutched his side with his hand. "Faleen, you'll have to fly the damn thing. I'll tell you how to do it."
There wasn't really many other options. She at least was good with machines and a fast learner.

Climbing into the Helicopter with Kofuku, bringing Will to one of the seats where they could set him down. Faleen stepping back, folding her arms across her chest, half hugging herself. She looked tired, warn out, and not just physically.
About to turn to take a seat on the other side of the helecopter, stopped when Seth spoke to her again. It took her a moment to realize what he had just said to her, but once it sunk in her eyes widened a little. lowering her arms as she made her way to the front of the machine. "Really sir?" she asked, unable to stop from sounding a little excited.
She had never flown a helicopter before, but she knew she could do it, and clearly Seth thought so to! or he wouldn't have asked... right?

Finally, finally they were out of that hole in the ground. Mission accomplished despite the odds, but obviously not without casualties. One such casualty was kept close to her side as she helped the concussed man into the helicopter whether he wanted her help or not - because it was extremely obvious she would allow him absolutely no choice in the matter - and made sure he wouldn't fall or stumble or otherwise injure himself. She set him down in a seat in a corner so he'd be able to lean against the wall and not fall over. Or maybe he would, but it'd be less likely in a corner than just a straight wall, but either way she sat down next to him to make sure he would be alright until they got back to the base. And then she'd make sure he was alright in the infirmary, and then make sure he made it back to his dorm alright, and maybe she could bring him something to eat...
