Lavan had been sitting on one of the pews in the front section of the church since he had come in with Aerith not long ago. He had been rather silent ever since they arrived, his mind turned inwards again rather then outwards. He had slid slightly out of the silent introspection that had likely hidden his presence from the paladin, or if it hadn't, had likely caused her to ignore him. So, he had been silent witness to the paladin's breakdown and rough telling of the story. Even their largest city has these problems... and the people stood by and did nothing? He thought. Back in Haven, that would never have happened. Someone who wasn't involved and saw something like that would have gone running for the nearest Guardsmen or Guard post. Of course, that had only been in Haven, because of the concentration of military and security forces their. But it sounded like there had been guards right around the corner. I don't belong here. Came the unbidden thought into his mind. It was accompanied by the far worse thought of, maybe he did... maybe that's why he was here instead of with Kalira...
He shook that off after a moment though. He had passed through a couple of town's on the way here, and they hadn't been this bad. But it seemed like this city drew all the worst to it. Those undead... things seemed like good proof of that. Maybe I should leave... He thought to himself. At least until he either got his equilibrium back or went totally insane. As it was, some mugger would attack him and next thing you know the whole Sector would be burning to the ground before he even realized it. Training with Kalira had given him not just control, but the energy reserve to cause FAR more damage then the last time he lost it in a city, and then he had still burned down a building. Lavan stood quietly, belting on his sword-belt and the few other things he had left here, and repacking his pack. "Thank you for your earlier offer Aerith." Lavan said to her as he shouldered his pack. "But... I'm not sure It would be safe for me to live here right now." He said, then offered a small nod of consolation to the paladin. Going by one name or another, Lavan felt a certain kinship towards her. They were both ultimately dedicated to the same cause, after all, even if Heralds did it differently then Paladins. Then he turned, heading down the aisle towards the church doors, his intention to leave Midgar.

Agrias continued to sob into Aerith's shoulder, "I.... slew three. I beheaded the first, when they turned to attack me. And I used a sword power to take down two others. The last one fled... He had olive skin, dark hair... tattoos.... They all had tattoos of vines and roses on their forearms... I have no idea about the man taking pictures." The blonde paladin hugged the young Cetra a little more tightly, as she continued to sob in heaves.

"I feel so safe with you, Zack." "I have twenty-three tiny wishes, but you probably won't remember them all, so I put them all together into one. ..I'd like to spend more time with you" While she remained there trying to comfort the Holy Paladin, she turned slightly toward where Lavan was, hoping she wasn't being rude by talking to her now! She had wanted to comfort the both of them now. But, when he started to speak again stating he didn't want to stay there she nodded softly, it wasn't like she could force him into staying in anyway! It was always their choice to go to the mansion or not. "Oh...Alright..Please be carful with what ever you choose to do, Lavan." Watching him leave, she waved to the young man before she turned back to Agrias once he had left.
"You just did what you had to. We all do, right? Even if it doesn't feel right to harm another person, if it's the only option to save another's life it 's all we can do." Aerith listened as she explained the disgription of one, keeping that in her mind to remember as she returned the hug.."Just..try to calm down, What you did was right, you know that. Try to keep the positive in you're mind, rather then the sad things."
 "I'll come back..when it's all over.."

Agrias sobs slowed down. After a couple of minutes, the blonde paladin ask Aerith, "Why did the authorities go after me, instead of looking for the fourth man?"

"I have twenty-three tiny wishes, but you probably won't remember them all, so I put them all together into one. ..I'd like to spend more time with you" "....The only thing I can really think of right now is, Because they are apart of ShinRa. They are..always trying to capture us, and the others from other worlds. They might have had orders to take you in too and..well..did that.." Aerith said softly. It didn't seem as bad as it once was, The Turks have not shown for quite some time, and two of them were still on there side. Eventually, she knew they would replace Cissnei and Elena with other new recruits. And when that happened it would possibly be just like so many years ago, brutal, deadly Turks and Avalanche would have much more to deal with.

Agrias half laughed, resting her cheek on Aerith, "My god.... that sounds like Delita. He was a man of my time who manipulated a civil war to take the throne. He was Ramza's best friend; however, he used Ramza like he used everyone else. People were just pawns to that man. When Ramza and I were fighting the Lucavi, we all thought we were fighting for a better world..." Agrias softly broke the embrace of the lady Cetra, looking at her with tear-rimmed eyes, "This present is our future, so to say. And look what we managed to accomplish.... Nothing. I .... went to a library yesterday. The history books label us as anarchists, and that manipluating pong scum Delita as a hero. Ramza is the true hero, and no one seems to know what we actually did. No one knows that we saved the world from the Lucavi. No one knows how viscous the nobles actually were." The blonde holy knight stared at her blood stained hands, "I have shed so much blood. Though my enemies' deaths were warranted, I still see their faces." Slowly looking back up at Aerith's visage, crying again, "What was it all for?"

Even as bad as things seem now, I have a strong feeling that things will become better. For all of us, as long as we never lose faith in our friends, ourselves and never give up on protecting th e planet. They may try to do things to destroy it, break all of us apart, many things but...Evil will fail. This world will be a better place soon. " She said to her softly. She spoke so confidently, Aerith had her hopes and prayers out to the world and the determination to protect. There was no way they'd fail.
"Even I have fought, Agrias. All of us have shed blood, but we did it to protect and save lives like you did. Please cheer up, you really must keep a postive mind."

Tears still flowed on Agrias' face, but a grim smile did form on her face, nodding, "You're right, of course. It still ... just drains you. All the lies.... All the violence... It wears at your soul and every fiber of your being. There are always so many times you want to second guess every action you have taken. "I have.... long feared that my sins would one day come to visit me, and the cost is more than I can bear. Is that.... what has actually happened to me?"

BASCH FON RONSENBURG If I could protect but one person from war's horror... From the door way of the church came a man clad in light armor, on his back he had a large sword, gold in color, this was the ultima weapon of his world and time he like the young paladin already there both were from ivalice but from diffrent times, he looked about to see a few poeple in here but none he knew, he came to the church because it reminded him some what of home, he could rest easy in a place like this and Know all was alright, he looked to the poeple here and saw that the blonde had been crying, he felt consurned by seeing her like this, a judge magister couldnt just stand by and not know why she was crying "Exuse me miss, but what makes you weep so?" he asked her as he approached themthen I would bear any shame. I would bear it proudly

Agrias nodded, "You are right, I think I really needed to hear it... Oh hello." The blonde paladin turned to Basch's question, "I was just confessing my soul to Lady Aerith, here. There is much wrong with this city. The authorities seem to be more interrested in why I was stopping criminals in the slums -- rather than stopping the criminals themselves. .... A young girl was assaulted in a particularly vile manner. Four men attempted to rape a fourteen year old. One of them escaped my blade. So, instead of searching for the last rapist, the police badgered me."

"I feel so safe with you, Zack." "I have twenty-three tiny wishes, but you probably won't remember them all, so I put them all together into one. ..I'd like to spend more time with you" Aerith nodded to her, her gentle smile remained on her features. "Yes..Now, We need you to cheer up, and from now on, no matter how these people are, we can't let them ever get to us. I grew up in the slums, unfortunately I have seen so many things happen, dealt with many types of people, and I guess it made me...stronger, able to handle these sad things a little better, even if they hurt me inside, I know I too have to be strong. Just as you do. " Aerith turned too, her deep emerald green orbs coming to rest on the new figure whom walked into the church, he seemed concerned for Agrias. "See? There are good people here!" She said happily, she hadn't yet met Basch, but she liked what she saw in him already.
 "I'll come back..when it's all over.."
(( OOC: Hehe, Started FFVII over on another memory card. It's so sad when the plate falls on all those people ..x.x And then I just wanna kill Tseng for taking Aerith....So makes no sense to me. In Crisis Core he's so called watching out for her, but in truth it's just a "protect the specimen' thing, cause if he can slap her as he did in that helicopter, he didn't give a single care about her! Grr! ))

BASCH FON RONSENBURG If I could protect but one person from war's horror... Basch nodded to aerith then looked to agrais "yes she is right, in this city there are good, but much like a balance scale there are evil, but it seems there is a shift because of the ShinRa, i was hunted down a soon as i entered this strange new world, but that doesnt mean bend knee and submit, no it means fight back and balance the scale" he then bowed and smiled "I am Basch Fon Ronsenburg of Ivalice, it is a pleasure to meet the both of you"then I would bear any shame. I would bear it proudly

Agrias nodded at Basch, but her nodding began to slow as she thought about the name of the man who just introduced himself, Basch von Ronsenburg? Why is that name fam... Oh.A slightly astonished look crossed Agrias' face, "You? I've... heard of you... from the history books..."
