Tails nodded. "How about I make the palms and fingertips, as well as some panels on the side, be able to slide away so you're spikes and powers can get through? If that makes any sense. Then you'd be armored, have weapon power, AND ice abilities."

"Isn't that a bit much?" Rouge asked, raising her eyebrows. "He COULD just wear some armor like guards do. Helmet, knee and elbow pads, boots, gloves...."
"What can I say? I like making things complicated." Tails replied happily.

"Most sane people." Rouge rolled her eyes. "Hummm...I wonder what Metal's new form will look like...." She stared into space as they walked, obviously deep in thought. then she glanced at Shadow. "Hey Shadow, if-"
"No."
"But you didn't even let me finish!" She said indignantly, frowning.
"I already know what you would have asked. You say it about every enemy who transforms."
"How do you know it was about the enemy? Maybe I was going to ask if I could borrow ten dollars!"
"Fine. What?"
"If Metal's new form is cute, can I date him?"
"No."

Justin smirked. "I don't think Knuckles would like that." He joked. Then again, Justin himself wouldn't like that, either. He then shifted back into human form, as the fight with Espio-Metal was pretty draining.

"And I'm sure Metal is a real charmer once you get to know him." Tails said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. "Considering you can say one word before he blasts you to smitherines."
Rouge opened her mouth to say something, but was interupted.
"'Wait' doesn't count."
She closed it, frowning and crossing her arms. "You guys are mean."
"Sorry that we're hoping to avoid a fight, which then results in our faces being smashed in by both you AND Knuckles when we attempt to stop it."

Justin nodded, then had a kinda disturbing thought. "Even if you did succeed with Metal....how would that even work, anyhow?" He asked Rouge

"Eh, I never liked kids very much anyhow." Rouge smirked slightly.
"Hey!"
"Except you."
"I see you're already making plans for after Metal kills me." Knuckles said, half sarcastic, coming over.
"Hey, I'm free to check out guys. And anyway, technically we aren't back together."
"Yeah, all the Emails you trade with each other including hearts clearly states that." Tails mumbled, barely audbile.
Rouge blushed lightly, averting her gaze to the ground.
Knuckles, on the other hand, looked pissed. "Wait a second....How would you--You've been reading my Email!"
Tails eyes widened. "Uhm, did I say that out loud...?"

Justin couldn't help but chuckle a little bit. Once again, Tails got himself into a little mess. Although, if there was a chance that Rouge and Knuckles weren't technically together, Justin still had a bit of a chance. He was gonna wait, though, so he didn't screw things up.

Tails took a step back. "Hey, you borrowed my laptop and left yourself logged in! I got curious and looked at a few! But none important! Except for that one I accidently deleted which was about your anger management appointment being changed to a different time."
Knuckles closed his eyes. He looked like he was counting to ten.
Rouge looked from Knuckles to Tails. "One, something tells me those anger management sessions aren't working very well. And two, I think this would be a good time to start running."
Tails sprinted for his life.
Knuckles' eyelids lifted. "GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE TWERP!" He ran after Tails, hands in fists.

Justin sighed. "You weren't kidding, Rouge. That guy has quite the temper. Then again, Tails should know better then to let his curiosity get the better of him." He said. He didn't really wanna see Tails get squished by Knuckles, so, to save his little buddy, and get himself some laughs, he blasted Knuckles' feet with cold air, freezing them in a block of ice. "I was saving that for Sonic, but to prevent any friendly fire, I had to do it early." He told the half echidna.

"I hope you have a will, Justin." Knuckles growled, trying to pull his feet free.
Rouge chuckled. "Can't say you don't deserve that, Knuckles."
Shadow sighed. He zipped off, appearing in a few moments, arm over Tails(who was over his shoulder). Tails was kicking his legs and trying to get away(without success of course).
"NO! PUT ME DOWN! I DON'T WANT TO DIE! LET GO OF ME, SHADOW!"
"Shut it, Fox-boy."

Justin saw Shadow grab Tails. He looked over to Rouge, confused. "Any idea why Shadow just zipped off with our over curious friend?" He asked.
