Best: FE5!Holsety, while FE4 sees unlimited weapon usage in a way which is cool, Sety is needed more in FE5, especially when it comes to doing the last Gaiden chapter as you can just warp him to centre stage and let him deal with the status inflicting trolls by himself.
Honourable mentions goes to Dime Thunder (OlWIN), Beo Sword, FALCHION (FE3, crit does 99 Dmg vs Mamkutes not to mention unlimited use sword as well as free unlimited use healing on all versions) and Narga if you want Julius to be reasonable.
Worst: Choice 1 (because healing really isn't a weapon, now is it?) Valkyrie- either you suck and need this, or you don't and don't need it. I admit, I am bad at FE4 to a certain extent, but I have my standards, I don't use this "dirty old stick" - Tiltyu.
Holy Sword- Choice 2 (an actual weapon if Valkyrie isn't accepted) Olwen has Dime Thunder, you can steal another one the minute you get the Holy Sword for her, so why make a magical unit who has mediocre Str anyway use a sword? I understand the +10 Mgc is nice, but that's not using the actual sword, now is it? ;D
Dishonourable mentions to the Sword of Seals for 20 uses of :/ 'age, FE3!Rapier and FE2!Falchion because it's really only needed for one thing and weapons are unlimited anyway, so Falchion loses its shine in Alm's hands. Not to mention, Shooting Star!Est trolls everything.

I'm here to say that I will not be updating Best/Worst this week. This whole weekend has been just a bunch of s**t for me and besides only 3 of you guys voted, which kinda pisses me off. So this topic will be up for another week. I expect more votes from you guys.

Sorry Mel. ^^;
Best: I desperately want to say Alondite but FE 10, Alondite can be given to someone else. So Florete.
Worst. Ngh. Hm... Florete.

I want to apologize for the behavior I showed last week. I was having a bad weekend and I took it out on you guys. I shouldn't have done that. Hopefully we can put that behind us. sweatdrop
Anyway getting back on track this week's Best/Worst is the Best/Worst Unit of FE7. (Sorry Maji I'll try to come up with something you can work with a little better next time.)

Oh dear.... .___.;
Question: Does the Lord count as a unit? Because if so, that will be Hector as the Best Unit. Little hard to train in the beginning, but once level up, he's quite good for crit kills, strength, and dodge too. If not the Lord, then Sain.
For the worse, Isadora. Yeah, yeah, shocking, isn't it. I would go for Marcus because of jeigan, but I rather not. Anyway, I'm just not quite satisfied with the stats being given. >>;

Best: Raven.
Eh. There are a LOT of excellent characters (who I've mentioned throughout this thread), so picking a BEST one for the entire game is really difficult. But Raven has fantastic combat, decent triangle control post promotion, and good availability. Arguably the best combat in the game, really.
Worst: Karla.
Definitely Karla. Wallace is up there, too, though.

This is a fun one and a hard one as well
Best: Oh god so many people. Hector, Raven, Rebecca...the list goes on for me. I'm gonna go with Raven due to his strengths such as the facts FD gave above me.
Worst: There are three units here that I can think of: Wallace, Karla, and Isadora. Wallace we all know is a general that comes on the Four Fanged offense if we choose to have the lords < lvl 50. By doing this we lose access to Geitz who is a FAR superior unit in my eyes. For Karla, she comes late but she at least is a swordmaster, and a decent one at that. Then with Isadora, she at least has a Silver Sword plus the Angelic Robe.
Why not Marcus? Well there is the fact that having him early on can save you in case you get into trouble during hard mode. My worst ends up going to Wallace due to his stats.

Yes the lords are counted here. I didn't say they weren't.

Best: If Lords count in this, my vote goes to Hector. If they don't, then I'm casting my vote for--oh, Lords count, so Hector it is! Honorable Mentions to Canas and (as odd as it may be) Nino.
Worst: Several names have already been dropped here, but I'm going with Karla. Poor availability combined with mediocre stats at best, her only use is supports if you're trying to get 100% completion, in my opinion.

Best: Should I go with Hector..? Awesome with strong arms and a mighty axe sizzling in that desert heat... Oh, yes I vote for Hector. He utterly destroys units and I currently cannot recall a better unit...
Worst: I have to go with Wallace on this mostly because we have to promote him early and at least Marcus, Isadora, and Karla are somewhat decent... Getting Wallace is also a pain when Oswin is clearly superior in many ways.

Best: Hector. I personally don't really like using Hector unless it's Hector Hard Mode where I pretty much need to, but I have to admit he's beast.
Worst: Wallace. And I think you guys are being way too hard on Karla. She's a decent swordmaster and more available than Renault, though admittedly he can be a last minute stave user (which you really shouldn't need by that point).

This week's best/worst is villain. This does not include generic mooks. They have to have some importance to the plot of said game. I am also not responsible for anything that get's spoiled with this best/worst. You have been warned.

Best: Nergal. This guy was literally a puppet master with all his morphs. Formidable opponent who was able to take on one of the legendary heroes without any significant injury.
Worst: Medeus. Hardly knew who he was until the last chapter. Boring and really not much of an impression given off here.

Best: Manfloy. He had his entire plan to resurrect the dark god Loptousou. Everything went according to plan till the very end.
Worst: Veld because of the fact that he is just a pawn and got nothing done to exterminate the Prince of Lenster, Leaf.

I have to say Nergal as the best since he was driven mad by his ambitions. And the fact that he has a cool turban. >>;
Worse villain was Lyon. To be frank, Lyon is more categorized as a "misunderstanding character" than a villain himself. Believing that the solution would be the answer to the problem, only to cause further problem.
