The Original Jitterbug Slips would do the same, but right before the two met, she tried to jerk out of the way and wrap around her opponent.

With a crack, the Rattatta would hit against the snake. His accuracy had been better, and thus even though their speed had been even his hit had connected squarely ....even as the coils tried to wrap around him.
The small rat would be flung backwards by the hit as he skidded on the earth as his tail bobs behind him. A smirk was on his face.
He wasn't an easy one to take down ...and he wasn't going to start being easy to deal with now as he chatter his teeth to make it clear he wanted to continue.
He brace himself for whatever attack might come his way.

Repeating her last attack, this time Slips made it a point to dive into the sand just before approaching the Rattata.

[[Okay, so you know ....Ekan's wrap works differently from most other attacks.
You add the dice roll 16 in this case with the pokemon's attack, which is 8 and then 24, then divide it by 5. Which is 4.8 rounded up to 5, and it does that amount of damage for 5 turns ...attack and defense that my Rattatta doesn't outroll your Ekans. So it can do a total of 25 damage, if it makes it all 5 turns. But for now, it only does 5 worth of damage.]
The brief moment that Rattatta lost sight of the Ekans were enough. Those coils would catch around it ...as it squeaked out loudly and went down backwards wrapped up tightly.
His tail wiggling as he started to struggle against those binds .....as he rolled over onto his belly deeply covered in wrap and start to push off with his hind legs. He was going to a very strange tackle ...as he tries to break lose of the pokemon's hold.

It would work as the Rattatta stopped short as he found he couldn't catch his next breathe and literally starts to thrash in the grips of the pokemon holding him. His tail flicking from side to side as his feet scrabbled against the ground, and he tries with all his strength to curl in on himself.
To hopefully shake his opponent free by forcing those coils to break instead of holding.

Slips slid her way close to the face of her opponent, a smirk on her face.
"I'll make you a deal. You give up, I let go, you run, and you live. You keep fighting and..." She simply hissed in place of words.

The pokemon was limp .....as in the snake's coils then ....a cracking nose was heard. To stretch her face close enough to talk to the rat she had accidently tighten her coils to the point where the pokemon quite promptly fainted.
She would never receive his answer to her deal.
Exp gained: 23 exp.

Letting go of the Rattata, she pondered eating the downed opponent, but decided against it, instead gently scooping him up in her mouth and spitting him out in his den, starting the message again in another spot nearby.

As the Ekans would finish the sound of helicopter blade would sound loudly with it. The churning of the blades ....the whirling of the helicopter blade .....as the sound whistles with it.
The blade .....seemed to sing loudly ....as the copter lands on the ground.

He didn't have to take long ....as the plane would rise from the ground. They both would leave the heat and the desert behind them .....as it would seem that he had afterall successfully escaped from the place.

Like with many students before hand ...the helicopter would settle on the desert sands. The wind wiping in their faces ....as the man open the door and the heat of the desert seep in at full force. It was hot enough to burn without one stepping into the heat of the day itself.

 Sitting next to the helicopter driver, Mia noticed the atmosphere change as they got closer to the island. She couldn’t help but worry about what would happen once she got off the helicopter and was left alone. Her mission seemed fairly simple: capture one Pokemon. The small girl tightened her grip on her only occupied pokeball, her Growlithe. He was the only pokemon she had to defend herself; it’s not that she didn’t have faith in Blaze… She had complete faith in him actually, but she had no idea of what she would face once she was alone.
After a few minutes, the helicopter started to descend towards the ground; they were practically there. When it finally came to a full stop, Mia jumped out and watched the helicopter fly away. ‘Great… Now how am I gonna get back…’ She would have to figure something out later.
‘Well, I guess it’s time to explore and try to find a Pokemon to capture’ She thought, walking away from the helicopter landing spot.
